He`s cool. These guys might look a little clumsy, but they can literally get everywhere they want. The big-one that lived with us, not full Dozer-sized but close to it, used to climb the wire fence they had put up around a little enclosure in the garden. Regularly. Pedestrians brought him back a couple of times from the other side of the road he had miraculously managed to cross without any harm. Then he was gone for a whole week. Everyone thought he might have been hit by a car or dissappeared for good in the bushes. I finally found him in the compost heap at the other side of the garden where he was having a feast all for himself. Pretty comfortable and healthy, just a little fatter I guess 😁The freakiest part about it was that he must have managed to get over the fence by himself, but then aparently was caught by the landlord's dog and carried to the compost heap. I witnessed it a few days later how the dog grabbed Tommy again and carried him there. As a kid I had the time to hide and watch. No cameras then, this is 40 years in the past. These two guys must have had a cross-species deal with each other, although I still don't know what was in for the dog. For Tommy, that much I am certain, it was a profitable one, as he was by far the biggest of the lot of five turtles😂
