The moving trespassing area almost got me killed on my first playthrough this morning trying to figure this out. I was in the bar area and all the sudden they walk in and I am immediately being shot by 3 or 4 guards without even a warning.
You just helped me snag the Winter Suit (5 SA Elusive Targets) and I genuinely could not have done it without you. THANK YOU so much for what you do. I know you hear it a lot, but you really do so much for this community and I really appreciate it.
The second guard wouldn't stay in his intended spot after the second coin distraction so I ended up restarting, going to the right and climbing up the pole right under the 2 guards and hanging until Richard came in the room and I took him out via garrote (so now I'm locked into finishing the ET or failing). No detection but from there it got much worse, got exposed twice en route to positioning Inez for a clean shot. Had no choice but to goto the top floor and work my way back downstairs switching from hotel cleaner to the armed suited guard (black muscle t-shirt) in the music area. Finally met back up w/ Inez (after triggering the hunted/engaged status and narrowly avoiding 2x) in the original coconut/bar area and defaulted to standing by the original freezer and shooting her in the head once she stood by the window, walked out that original door and went back the same way you started from in the beginning of the video. Walked to the boat and finished in 23 minutes lmao. It's almost like IOI watched your video and switched up the guards actions/strings in the past few days Thank You for your help regardless !
Excellent walkthrough as always! Also, didn't know about the molotov + tranquillizer method. That's really interesting, although something tells me that it must have been an unintentional side effect, and as such, is probably going to (sadly) get fixed at some point. But hey, might as well take advantage of it while it lasts. :P
I did the third option with the molotov cocktail on the first try. What a strange effect the cocktail & tranquilizer have together in the game. You must have been surprised when you figured that out 😂 Thanks for the always good and helpful methods!!!
I've been playing hitman since 2016. As far as I'm aware this was only the 2nd time this elusive target has been available in all that time. The ex-dictator's wife, the "Gold-Digger", was the only elusive target that ever eluded me. It's probably been close to five years since this happened, but I tried to blow both of them up with a bomb, but I failed. I only killed the ex-dictator. His wife was unscathed. I was then spotted and gunned down while trying to get a new disguise. Back then I didn't know that you could close the application to get a fresh start on the ET. It feels good to finally get the b**** that got away from me. Thanks for the great video!
Did you know the molotov can be used twice in the same mission. after shooting it like you did you can go back and pick it up, it only works again if you throw it or shoot with a normal gun.
THANK YOU! I wasn't able to do the fiber wire one, I kept getting seen by the two staff, but I managed to ace the molotov cocktail one. Love that thing. It's technically OP, but it's such a specific tool that I don't think it gives much of an advantage to anyone unless they know how and where to use it. It's like the electrocution phone, which I honestly think they need to put back in the game. Yeah, it makes things easier, but only for very specific targets in very specific scenarios and you only have one shot at it. If you have two targets in different locations if does virtually nothing except help you shave some time off the run.
@@ecstasyenthusiast421 You have to get to level 20 on Ambrose Island. It's a bit of a pain, but it's not too hard. Just plan ahead and save a lot so you van reload at certain points and complete multiple challenges in one playthrough.

Lady below the balcony with her x-ray vision, somehow getting spotted when taking out the second target (even after being extra safe and knocking out the other waiter.), etc. Gave up and tried the second method - got it in one try. Your guides take this game to a whole other level for me, man. Thanks!
Thank's freeze the second option was the best for me I wanted to give the molotov assassination a go but thought I'd mess it up, hope the driving lessons are going ok for you mate good luck
Quick question- If I start an elusive target arcade say I do Level 1 on one of them, can I start that one and say I pass it, would I be able to start a different one without any problems and keep my progress on the 1st one? It wouldn't like reset the 1st one or maybe not allow me to start another?
You can start any of the arcade contracts, regardless of your progress on any of them. You just can't restart the ones you've already started, unless you've completed all 3 levels or failed.
If you're reading this in Year 3, the pathing has changed. The Dictator will no longer go to the kitchen to puke, but in 47's suite. The Gold digger will go to the next room over and use that toilet. I recommend following her first so you can enter the room without a hacker, and in turn not be detected.
Every time I try method 2 the dictator is already on the stairs and goes to the restaraunt, will it loop and go back or is mine bugged somehow, every single time.
Did the default set up route accidentally went behind the security near the bar so I put effort into hiding the guns and got caught by an enforcer, I forgot I could just sneak past the door right in front of them to avoid the inspection so I lost my silent assassin rating and couldn’t restart the mission, all for nothing
After using the molotov method in the video, I tried it again in a contract and found that the bottle can be picked up again afterwards. P.S. thanks for the guide.
I tried spawning as the security guard, and grabbing a gas canister from the back area, then throwing it on the ground at the far corner where they both sit down at the start and dropping the ICA Remote Micro Tazer on top of it. I also shoved against the guard that when to look at what the noise was. When they both were sitting down I used the remote tazer to ignite the gas. It seems a lot easier than the other methods. I did have to destroy the security recording afterwards though. I don't think I can get there in time without going through their path... so the security cameras will need to be wiped for silent assassin.

There's this weird bug where of you use a hotel security disguise, the guards stationed where the targets are will shoot you if you walk through. I dunno if it was fixed cuz BigMooney06 had this problem and I kinda feel several players failed this contract because of that.
How do you get the option to "place" an item wherever you want? The only thing i have found is to press Z to drop the item but I can't find this option to accurately place them....
After careful consideration I've decided to bum rush it - started with security guard starting position, took gas canister, threw it at the top of the first step of stairs these two go through, dropped remote micro shocker, boom. Also, bumped into the first target a bit, but maybe it is not needed.
If you throw the propane flask onto the couch that they take a smoke at, it will start leaking and explode when he smokes (which is after you leave). The catch is that you need to carefully throw it. It could fail to kill them (in which case you can just restart) or it can kill one of the people that they're with (which will ruin silent assassin although you can just alt+f4 because you're long gone). For me it was a close-range lob onto the couch near the wall side (the couch's left, but my right) armrest. In the middle killed someone else. I don't know where the flask rolled off to when it exploded but failed to either of them.
To anyone who hasn't purchased the DLC for the Hitman 2 additional missions (and doesn't have the Emetic Poison pistol)--if you start as a guard, you can follow the Dictator target as he enters through the back entrance (unlike you, he doesn't need a keycard); if you constantly bump into him, eventually the Wife target will insisting on walking 3 meters behind him, and you can drop a emetic remote mine between them and poison both. Kill the dictator target the same way (in case it wasn't noted, if you kill him at the first opportunity, his wife will be psychically alerting there's an unused vomit receptacle closer to her, and she'll walk to it, and probably spot you). Use a keycard hacker to enter Room 205, pick up the tranquilizer pistol from your pre-mission stash, and kill the Wife target the same way. Pain in the ass, but then again, it's an Elusive Target so that's no surprise. As usual, thank you for the guide MrFreeze.
This many be a repeated question but is there any way to do an elusive elusive target again if you fail it by dying? I hope IOI help people out who accidentally mess them up as this is my first & only fail
This is just a random suggestion but alot of games have micro transactions, what if IOI brought out something like a "lifeline" where you would spend a small fee to replay one elusive target again some where at the end of Hitman 3s life cycle

Random question - I was playing miami and noticed ted mendez (the military guy) has an ID card behind the reception . And you can show the card to the robot , obviously to get Mendez . Can you (or anyone) explain how to get Mendez to actually go up and view the demonstration ?? I’ve tried everything lol . Sorry if this is not proper video to ask - it’s just most recent . Thanks .
i started in 47's suite, Molotov and tranquilizer gun. Slid down the pipe out the balcony, and went into the room behind the place you used the fire extinguisher before. i set the molotov in the space between the right side of the book shelf and the door frame. Then i shot with the tranquilizer gun. they caught on fire, i think i hit too high on the bottle because it ended up exploding, but the guards just turned around to look and didn't become noticers
This mission is clearly not for beginners. It will not work to kill 2 targets stupidly according to the scenario with poisoning ... But at the same time, this mission teaches you how to kill targets using gadgets and the environment, which is very useful for your own experience =))
I personally sat on this scenario for a long time, until I thought of killing the girl on my own with a syringe with poison, after playing a little with her guard =) I didn’t watch the tips on TH-cam, and I personally received the status of a silent killer 🤫
Yeah I failed it because I ate lunch and when I come back I forgot It was an elusive target and yeahh rip but I heard from somewhere that failure is not permanent anymore.What I mean is if year 3 of the ex dictator comes back I can play it.I'm not sure thought.Can someone confirm it please?
I started as a policeman, had to delay them and their bodyguards with 3 coins, then i had the time to grab the propane flask and drop it near their sofa with a breaching charge, and then... boom! ;)

Skip the opening panning shot, go straight there. There's no other reason for him to be ahead of you

I used the micro remote explosive device at the lounge area and got them both, I had trouble escaping though but it was within 10 minutes

It's not crucial by any means. It's an unlock from the Seven Deadly Sins DLC. Specifically Season of Lust. It makes people go blind for 10 seconds.
Is it possible to take them both out with consumed poison at all? (Always my preferred method for ETs)

my brain would not function properly on hitman without you freeze
