I'm a Pashtun from Pakistan and my heart goes out to all Afghan girls who can't get an education. A Pakistani ambassador once shamelessly said that it's their culture but I'm a Pashtun and no, it's not our culture to stop women from getting an education. This is a deliberate attack on Pashtun culture. We want to see our Afghan sisters going to schools and become doctors and engineers. 😢❤
Thank you to the BBC’s Dars program for facilitating online education for girls. This initiative is a noteworthy triumph, ensuring that future generations are not deprived of education despite challenging circumstances.
Educated woman can help herself to be independent, make society better place to live by educating or helping to her kids, brother, father and husband....Iqra wors is for everyone not only limited to Male
It’s devastating to witness the harsh realities that Afghan girls endure under Taliban rule. The oppressive restrictions placed on them rob them of their right to education, freedom of expression, and personal autonomy. These girls, brimming with potential and dreams, are forced to navigate a world where their aspirations are stifled, and their futures are bleak. The systematic erasure of their opportunities is not just a tragedy for them, but a profound loss for the entire world. The pain and injustice of their situation is deeply unsettling and a stark reminder of the ongoing fight for women's rights globally.
Speak for yourself where were you lot for the past 20 years were girls were murderd raped by the natos and usa across rural part of afghanistan and name me one school in rural part that have been built by the former regime in khost not a single school built only in city where rich could go only while the rest were slaughtered

We, the Tajik/Persian people of Afghanistan and other non-Pashtuns, are paying the price for standing with the U.S. and the international community for 20 years. We are being kidnapped, tortured, labeled as American spies, and killed by the Taliban. In the southern parts of Afghanistan, where Pashtuns are the majority, girls are not going to school due to their tribal cultural norms. The Taliban in Kabul and the northern regions, where Tajiks/Persians are the majority and the girls welling to study and have no any cultural restriction, have banned schools for girls. Nearly 90% of Pashtun tribes in and outside Afghanistan support the terrorist Taliban due to their ethnic connections and are working as spies for them. We, the Tajik/Persian people, are the real victims of the 20-year invasion by the international community in Afghanistan. If anyone reads my comment and does not believe it, please do some research, and you will find that I am not lying.
Before making baseless claims remember that education is a right everyone values whether they are pashtuns or from any other group in Afghanistan. If you think one group doesn't care about education you're either misinformed or revealing your own lack of understanding. Dividing people like this only shows how much more you need to learn . Instead of spreading harmful stereotypes focus on supporting everyone's right to learn and grow. You should work on learning and growing yourself.
i am not totally agree with you Mr. Bashir, if someone asks you the question regarding the current regime, if Pashtuns are totally Taliban's in southern cities of our country, then how about northern cities of our homeland such as Takhar, Badakhshan,samangan,Jawzjan,Faryab,sar-e pul and others, where their high officials are Tajiks and Uzbeks and lead through these people? what are your recommendations and reactions based on this matter>?
@@HafizullahAmiri-rk9ys Except for two symbolic leaders from the Tajik and Uzbek communities among the Taliban, I haven’t seen any other prominent figures from the Tajik-Persian, Uzbek, or Hazara groups within the Taliban. Being in pakistan i am always ungrateful but after looking at our neighbouring country i feel more blessed at least women can study here can become a successful person
Afghanistan's government has recently decided over education of women has unintended consequences, so they decided most women are better off being wifey material and as mothers contributing to society and making a happy home, in Britain with it's hyper capitalism, 70% of those graduating from university are women, in the western model, personal achievements, hyper autonomous individuality and economic success are valued more than child bearing and contributing to demographic increase. Most develop countries suffer from lower replacement rate, which if unchecked leads to demographic decline and economic stagnation and the resulting aging population which in turn puts pressure on already dwindling recourses. Since most women are educated, career orientated and economically viable, they will price themselves out of the mating market, because most men will not qualify for their attention because of their hypergamous nature, most women are biologically wired to date/marry up then down. In South Korea their replacement rate has declined so much it's 0.7%. In Scotland the average woman is having 1.3% children. Because China earlier one child policy and their economic success and the over education of women like the western model, most women will delay child bearing or forgo it all together because they can't find the right partner.
Maybe Becuase our country is the only one in the world to keep their women at homes. Need to raise as much awareness as possible to force the regime to give our women their rights back
What about Palestinian girls and women? Why you are not paying attention to them? It is unbiased. People in Afghanistan live better than other muslim peole. They have freedom., they have their own road to follow
Whatsaboutismen isn't a really good answer. Ja, other women and girls lives in a bad discrimination system. Its a big problem. Time for a imported feminist peaceful politics.
Palestinian children, Syrian refugee children living in tents on the border of Syria for over ten years, Burmese children, with no chance of even a primary school education, no one talks about their education and how they are growing up illiterate. It is wrong and very discriminatory. If it was the wellbeing of children that the West was concerned with, they wouldn't have allowed what is happening in Gaza. But it is not. It is just their desire to spread a liberal, feminist, secular lifestyle despite all its evils (gender dysphoria, abortion, preteens getting pregnant, newborns being left on the street, alcoholism, broken families, etc. etc.)
Lol just because palestine women are suffering so should afghan women? You must be a very ignorant person to say people in Afghanistan are living better. Having no education beyond grade 6 even is a gross violation of human rights. One wrong does not justify the other. The fact that you gloss over this atrocity done by your own people is why almighty is angry at the whole ummah.
This is not about Taliban, it is about Islam. Forced marriages, child brides, one night or few hour marriage for sex are very common in Islamic countries.
This fun is short lived for the taliban. Most of these fighters are illiterate and spent their lives fighting. In 10 years when they have kids and realize that their government won't let their daughters get an education, they will deeply regret fighting for it.
