I'd agree that he should win if he had a good push for the past 6 months, but he didn't. He was fucking around with Dark Order, and didn't have many matches of significance. Not to mention currently there are two new major superstars in AEW, Punk and Bryan. Punk doesn't need the title, but putting the title on Page over Bryan doesn't seem smart.

Adam Page was pushed as one of the original main stars, but in meantime, he fell off, and as I said, for the past 6 months he hasn't done anything worthy. They should have pushed this title match before Punk and Bryan arrived, it doesn't make any sense business wise and somewhat story wise for Page to become the champ now. What then if he becomes champ, Bryan will just become the champ over him anyway.

El momento en que Kenny lo deja caer y se va es durísimo, mejor que cualquier ataque que hubieran podido bookear.
Simplemente esta historia fue perfecta de principio a fin y bueno, terminó como debía con la redención de Hangman ganando el campeonato.
