- In this video I’m going to test the protection that Norton, McAfee, and bitdefender provide against real, live and dangerous viruses. I’m going to test those anti-viruses protection against ransomware, trojans and other types of malware. For each anti-virus, I’m going to test its scan capabilities, the real time protection, and whether it can still make a difference if your computer is already virused.

Having deployed Bitdefender (Gravity Zone) in a few companies I expected it to be the best. Great quality product with a lot of features, will probably deploy it again in my new company soon. Quality Romanian software.
Is it worth to buy any of this 3 AV's if you already have microsoft defender installed?
I use Norton like it so far whenever i download something from a website and the website redirects me to a add website norton blocks it. Nice video

I have linux on most of my machines; no AV necessary. However, I haven't used an AV on my remaining Windows machines (WIN 7) for many years; common sense and proper caution, along with VT4Browsers and occasional use of Emsisoft Emergency Kit (actually never needed) keep them clean.

I recommend when you do scans, enable the internet.
Also I think Bitdefender uses sometimes the Advanced Threat defense for finding malware on running, not signatures (idk the reason, maybe because they do not want to overload the pc with signatures if the defense can prevent from it.)
It was part of the isolation scheme to completely disconnect from the internet. But I also tried it with internet and the results are similar. So I think the internet connection is only there to update the signature database which was very new since I had just downloaded the antivirus.
Please test ESET SmartSecurity and G Data Total Security.
