    1st time 4x4 owner. Thus absolutely my first Jeep and I'm all in now. Had no idea the community existed and had no Idea it would be like a wake up call or gift from God...telling me life is short Pam so go live. Bought without knowing so the vehicle that would reintroduce me to that craving for the outdoors. My new rig is a 21 JLUR (w 19k miles on it) and I love my new Rubi. I happened upon your TH-cam channel early this morning. I am learning that the dealership put new 35×12.5R18s BFG KO2s on Fuel Off Road Trophy wheels 18x9 ET 1 etc This rig had orihinal OEM r17s to abbreviate. I understand now that i need to get hub centric rings or spacers bc afterrmarket wheels are customized to fit precisely for any specific vehicle. I am stuck with the dealershipchoice for while. I do plan to do overlanding offroqding to dustant spota and ridea well away from blacktop but no crazy rock crawling yet. Newbie here. I have a lot to learn. One of your videos makes it rather clear to me that I need to choose a lift kit lilely shocks and springs initially now to accommodate the brand new wheel and tires added by dealership obviously to help entice a buyer. accommodate my larger tires based on my desire to take offroad as well at the beginner level of course for now. I am curious what would recommend in my shoes regarding custom hub centric rings (quite affordable so worth that
    Little money to have get the precise custom rings per the measurements I will be providing. This will be my daily driver but not a lot of daily driving bc I retired early. No daily city commuting for work. I should've held on to my less than 50k miles pristine condition Honda Accord. Nah..I have no desire to drive anything else. Wouldn't mind having a second Jeep.😅 would you go with spacers or hub centric rings if you were me. Plant to strike a balance on this 1st and keeper RUBI. MOD LIST that are beneficial for a better ride on and offroad and mod as that will likely contribute to long-term health of my new YellaRubi. I can afford but don't want to throw money away bc dealership didn't bother with hub centric rings or alternative option is spacers correct? I don't want unnecessary wear or stress on wheels and jobs etc due to lacking better fitment at hub. I think I'm gonna keep this Rubi forever. I'm hooked. She will be lived in and live thru so I want play play hard in My BigYellaRubi not put her on a shelf after mods Shiney and pretty bc she looks like a Badass Sexy Bitch....my rig...not me. Lmfao THIS rubi awakened me. Thank you God. Didn't think I'd be thanking God and Jesus Christ, our or maybe i should say my Lord and Savior. I'm not the Bible thumber. Yep I am high on Jeep fumes apparently. Laughing at my current loco Jeep life hintoxication as i type. Crazy talk. I concur. OK over it. Great videos. Funny and informative.

      To clarify that was a typo I meant to type that I realize now how poorly the secondary market wheels can be bc made to go on endless vehicles. My apologies for long-windedness.

    I have run 3 sets of these tires (2x37 1x40) and love them. They clean out great here in the South East and heat up nicely. I have reached out to them to see if they plan on making a 42 but to no avail! Maybe they will respond to you. Id love these in a 42!!!

      I can’t get them to respond to me either. I like them. But I’m not against trying something different. They work well. But I feel like there are others that also work well (I’m. It overly concerned about mud) but last longer.

      @@WarPaintOffroad I held out as long as I could for Baja Boss to make the 42 in a 17 wheel they said they were going to make over a year ago, went with the trusted ol TSLSX!

    I was scheduled to get these X-MTs put on this Wednesday... Now I need to hold off to get Method beadlocks... Currently have non-beadlock Method's, but watching this review I may as well step up my game to get the full benefits of 10 psi and under for the X-MT's. I usually run 15psi

    What was the other tires you enjoyed more than the Geo-landers?

      It’s hard to say. I had a set of Mickey’s that I like better in some ways and not others. I also have a set of Cooper’s that were better in the street but not on the trails. I like these, they just chunk a bit more than I would like. If o could get my hands on any tire next time around for my uses, it would be the Mickey Pro XS ESPECIALLY if they make something like that in a radial in the future. But that wouldn’t work for everyone.

    I was looking at those awhile back, they are very similar to the Nitto Mud Grappler extreme mud terrain tire

    • @WarPaintOffroad
      @WarPaintOffroad  ปีที่แล้ว

      They are! Nitto makes a good quality tire. Tbh, I have never ran them. I might try next. Will have to see what’s available.

      @@WarPaintOffroad I have the Nitto Terra Grappler G2 all terrain on my JLUR. E rated and they hold up real well

    I’m running the Yokohama MT G003 and about to swap over to beadlocks so I’m exploring options. I like the current ones, but they don’t clear mud as well as I’d like. Living in central Alabama, this is key.
    I’m going with Raceline Rhino beadlocks and am curious if you had to use the spacer to mount these tires since the sidewall is so thick.
