Live Techno Jam (Roland TR8S, Behringer TD3, Arturia MicroFreak)

Our first try to record a jam. Not everything went perfectly and there's still much to learn both in jamming and in filming/editing, but it's only going to get better, so stay tuned and enjoy!

Awesome RAW Techno, What effect do you have on the T8, compressor limiter or do you let it run into the daw. do you use single outputs for the kick?

TR8S runs directly into DAW (not using single outputs), but there is a compressor on master chanel in DAW

Nice jam! I'm wondering if I can sync the td-3 with my minifreak so I can use it as a bassline to play with sequence im making?

@@7shawnmartin7I have used a td3 to send midi to the microfreak. I would ask why not just use the built in sequencer on the microfreak though.

​@@benm12310 Thanks for the reply. I was in a learning phase 2 weeks ago. Since then I have learned how to daisy chain all my gear. "minifreak, T-8, S-1 and JP-08. But Even beter I baught a keystep pro. Such a practical tool for a dawless setup.

How did you connect those 3 devices? Which cables? And how did you sync the clock? And to which device you connected your speaker?

So tr8s sends midi to td3 and the microfreak isn’t really synced to anything cause we only used it for the intro, just the sequence running at the same bpm. The audio goes into audio interface

Or maybe microfreak receives midi from fl studio via usb, not sure since we recorded this some time ago
