Not really. SuJu have two vocalists, Kyuhyun (#1) and Ryeowook (#5), in the top five best technical male idol vocalists while EXO has only one which is Chen (#3). I'm an a multifandom EXO-L but give credit where credit is due. EXO have the best vocal-line of this generation (the second best overall), but SuJu beats then overall.

Okay I’ve been wanting to get this off my chest for a while. BTS is my favorite group, I’m an army through and through, and always will be, I got to know them and fell in love, BUT I have to say.....EXO 😭 their vocal team is SO strong. I’m not surprised at their popularity AT ALL. Each vocal is the PERFECT mix of pure talent and technique and their voices shine in equally beautiful but different ways. I’m using a lot of capitalization because I’m so passionate. Their vocal team is freaking amazing and they deserve ALL their fame. I’m an army but I recognize their INSANE talent🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

( i knew them first and i just like vocals more than rap that is all about) but i still respect other groups like you do so thank you for proving that there are good armys :) who are tolerant inn terms of accepting other talents of other groups
The thing with SM idols is that no matter their official position, they're all vocalist one way or another. Like Yunho from tvxq, waa considered a part of the 'rap line', as far as I know, but like the rest of tvxq, his vocals are really top notch. SM focuses on vocals, which is why all of their artists are great singers, no matter their official position.

The Rap Line: Chanyeol & Sehun (Chanyeol also has an incredible singing voice, you should look up his performance of All Of Me)
But what's so great about EXO is that even the members who aren't considered to be part of the main vocal line (Suho, Xiumin, Lay) also have nice voices that compliment and can hit ranges that some of the other members can't. (Xiumin is notorious for being the hidden high note king!)

All of them sing but you will see Baekhyun and Chen have some of the most impressive parts since they can hit the highest notes, the others on the 'vocal line' have more mellow midrange voices. D.o in particular has a voice like honey or melted chocolate. Chanyeol has the deepest voice.
Actually Chen can hit the lowest note, it was in one of their vlives. But, SM always gives Chen and Baek Hyun most of the high notes I think

Chen, Baekhyun and D.O are considered the main vocals since they have the best technique. Suho, Lay and Xiumin are lead vocalists but they are also very good and in my opinion should have the title main vocal as well. And then there is Chanyeol, Sehun and Kai the rappers though I think Kai is more of a lead vocal since he doesn't rap very often and he really improved especially this year. Chanyeol is not on a main vocal level but his deep raspy voice has its own charms so I really like his voice as well. Unfortunately Sehun didn't have a lot of opportunities to show his vocal skills.

Suho and Xiumin vocals are no joke as well but it don't show off as much as CBD because as you can see they have many amazing vocalist. But in other song and performance they slay. Don't forget the rappers Kai, Chanyeol, and Sehun vocal as well. Not wide range but their vocal colours are so pretty like others, that's how they an amazing group vocally. Indeed one of the group with best vocal in the industry

I know opinions differ as to if Xiumin is vocal line or rap line but I personally think he’s a really really amazing vocalist, while he can rap too I think he’s just such a good vocalist.
Xiumin used to be classified as a rapper back in EXO-M. But I personally see him as more of a vocalist since he sings more than he raps nowadays.
