This past October, Middle Kids were the first live show I attended in nearly two years. Did not disappoint.

I just realized that part of the reason why the melody is so unique on this track is because Hannah plays guitar upside down and left handed 🤯

It absolutely blows my mind when I see a lefty playing upside down guitar like that. The Japanese House does it too and I just don't get how it's possible.
just a matter of tons of practice and method. of course, you gotta be left-handed, to grasp it easie(r)ly. personally, i learned how to play right-handed also, so probably the opposite is double. but i got doubts about playing upside down.
I play left dominant, it feels just "Right" and comfortable like a right playing a right hand guitar. 😄 Though lefty's are quite ambidextrous, as we live and are used to using both hands in a right handed world.

That is an impressive performance in such a small setting. Great audio (as always with KEXP). Hearing "Questions" in this form just made my day (which didn't start out great).

After all the angsty monotone singers on this channel, this is a breath of fresh air. Your voice is professional and airplay worthy, no autotune needed!! Sounds so familiar. Been in other bands over the years?
Yeah she can actually project. Kind of a nice change from the barely audible, whispery and slightly off tune trend that has been happening recently.

Hannah is a supernova amongst her supporting players. They make really awesome music but Hannah shines here. She could do solo and hit us with a six. What a freakin awesome Aussie band. Middle Kids you guys are a gem in the wild. Thanks for your effort to bring some great tunes to our ears ❤️

I got to see them play live in Columbus OH a couple years ago. Really talented group! I hope to hear more from them in the future.
They’re playing A and R this Fall. Tickets went on sale last Friday. I bought four. The Basement shows were great, but I’m glad they’re pulling larger venues.

Jimis strings were aligned "correctly" (if you are talking about Hendrix) ;)
She's playing left dominant. We end up using right handed guitars, because it so HARD to find decent left handed guitars!! 😵😄
