I loved this interview of Chris. I loved hearing his story and everything not just Glee. Chris is a huge influence to so many because he has done so much. Also, I wasn’t aware of all of the awards and nominations Chris has received. Of course I was aware of his winning Golden Globe but the list just kept growing as you introduced Chris. Bravo on a great interview as this was the first interview that I learned more about Chris and not just a repeat of what’s already popular.
Why is everything about pride nowadays can’t people just keep it to themselves and still be openly gay because its not a big deal if no one cares or if no one is interested its no big deal or at least it shouldn’t be
Well, people are still being discriminated against, threatened, harassed, and harmed for being in the LGBTQIA+ community, so it’s important to continue the conversation about pride so that people know that they’re not alone, and one day, just like the public figures speaking out about pride, they too can be safe and proud to be who they are, even though their current environment may not be supportive of them. Sometimes, coming from experience here, all it takes is for someone to see a commercial, an ad, a TV show, or even an interview, where someone else is speaking about pride and positively representing their community & openly enjoying their life through the judgment and scrutiny they face, to save someone else and make them feel safe and hopeful. One last thing, it helps to center conversations about pride because they open doors to deeper discussions of past harm and suffering in the queer community. We have to remember, as painful as it is, past injustices because they help to inform the present and it gives respect to those who faced unimaginable harm and injustice, and paved the way for us today to be able to be open and proud of who we are ❤ Hope this helps
@@IAmFullyPresent ok doesn’t mean you have to force it on everyone because no everyone cares and not everyone will accept you if you cant accept that then well thats your problem not anyone else’s and if that makes them a bigot so be it as long as anyone doesn’t have constantly deal with having their minds completely gang raped by extreme woke LGBTQ people because you guys wanna be accepted how about accept other cunts first before you preach acceptance and I’m talking accept peoples opinions and you cannot be mad at someone for having a difference of opinion if someone doesnt agree with LGBTQ get over it my cousins fiancee has a sister who is lesbian and she hates The entire LGBTQ community and also pride you know its bad when your own kind is against you guys and also I’ve seen videos of LGBTQ people get berated by the Allies and other LGBTQ members too so your all as bad each other if I’m being honest if you think I’m a bigot or any sort of phobic to the LGBTQ community well you proved my point

It’s mentioned once. Far more of the interview is about his writing books.
