The Eklipse is an absolutely beautiful knife and my next “grail”. It took me 2 years to get a chance at my XM-18 3.5 Bowie, so I’m anxiously waiting for the next drop of these. But who knows when that will be. You can’t find a new one, they’re sold out everywhere.
I like the Harpoon Spanto... never realized what Spanto stood for, spear point and tanto mix!!! I ended up with a Swedged Spear Point Magnacut blade and Blue G10 and Blue Anodized I like the swedged spear point cuz it makes the blade really, really strong. Might not be the best "slicer" but it did something I don't know if I would have tried with any other blade... pried down my vehicle window and then cut out the gasket cuz I locked my keys in the car. Yeah, I don't know of any other blade I would have used for that. I love it, except for the anodizing... terrible job that I've seen better done in my buddies garage!!!

The Harpoon is aggressive looking and it is my favorite Hinderer blade shape.

I have had a few Hinderer knives triway xm18 there was no way I could open them with thumb studs .

The official "Hinderer" name of that blade shape is "Harpoon Spanto". It's a spanto with a harpoon notch and swedge. 😉👍
