Bebob unveiled an innovative power accessory at NAB 2024. The MLmicro combines several interesting abilities. The MLmicro can be used as a V-Mount pass-through, adding useful USB, D-Tap, and LEMO ports. Its internal battery lets it operate independently and also allows for hot swapping. While not extremely affordable, the device is well built, encased in a robust aluminum chassis with smart indicators and a useful onboard mini LED torchlight.

Ugh, was super interested until we hit the €1,200 price point. This isn’t a Burano specific accessory and could have been a great accessory across a lot of v-mount cameras but I can’t pitch that much to most documentary TV shows when we are on an FX6 or similar, even though I would love too. I’m not saying this should be a $200 part, but it would be reasonable to say that it shouldn’t be much more than a high-end 98Wh battery.
If they could make a BPU to V-Mount version of this for the Pyxis 6K, that would be killer 👌🏼
This with Gold to Gold would be perfect. I think it’s worth the money for what it is. I wonder how to power delivery work when a a battery is plugged in?
Need this today... Just wish the price was a lil better.
any budget options?
Interesting but the price is steep high
Bebob forgot their clown costume when they mentioned the price, €1,200 for a 49wh battery with some ports on it, make a plastic one with X2 normal dtaps one 2 pin lemo and usb-c £400-£600 I'll take one.
ridiculous price..
