Just got my defender 110 last night. Never really wanted to get into the small scale type cause its just too limited in abilities. But this FMS model changed my mind. It's really fun and capable. Thanks for the nice tips in the video. Keep RC-ing!
Smart marketing to release 4 at once, people who love Land Rover will want them all. Looks like you get lots for the money , very detailed and looks great on a trail
Bought my FMS FairRC FCX18 Green Mod from FairRC just two days ago and this dropped! Dang! Its so nice for a 1/24 scale! This hobby definitely lighten like wallet tho (from a new guy in the hobby). Great review as always! Hopefully my friend sees your review and end up joining me on this hobby with this entry
Nice video , that's a nice little truck and what a great price it is , like you say a little weight on the underside and that will be a very nice trail/crawler truck , I also don't have a range rover in my large collection so I think after watching you running his little truck I am going to order the range rover now and see what I can do with it but try and improve it with out buying every upgrade on offer , just using parts I have in the spare parts box and also use my imagination , so thank you for showing this truck , I do enjoy your videos and the way you explain things and give little tips and tricks to help us guys and girls out , stay safe mate ...
The scale look for the Discovery and Defender 110 are great, Range Rover looks a bit too lifted, Defender 90 probably looks the tallest/weirdest. That being said, it's still annoying that these so-called 1/24 ones are more like 1/20 if you do the calculation on the wheelbase or the overall length. This scale doesn't go with the ubiquitous 1/24 scale auto model figures and accessories, and the I'm not sure where to get 1/20 figures to go with these for an interesting diorama, such a shame for the nice detail... So far I see only Kyosho Mini-Z 4Runner and Wranglers are true to the 1/24 scale, but the price...
Wow what a price! After my Unimog FMS now I'm more interested in this factory. As Per FMS style the model is easily upgradable as you have all the details that need just some touches, Lights already ready to receive LED and may be dampers just to be filled with oil at least the O-rings. Another great piece!
Definitely brass hubs on the front for weight and I saw another video where they did pre loading on the rear damper spring with a cable tie, that should hold the body up with less give maybe?
Poor man question ? I need er want a 24th scale for my videos and of course to play with. Scx24 or fcx24m ? Rough.... 2 speed sounds FUN. It would be my second rig. 6months in WPLc24-1 built. Now i want another.
Same here, when I saw the FMS email with the new line of Land Rovers I was going to buy all 4 of them until I realized they are 1/24. Now I don’t know, maybe I’ll get just the Discovery 1.
The only thing I will say I don't like is they did such a good job on the bodies that I won't have anything to change on them. I'll definitely be picking one or two of them up eventually
Great to see new bodies, tired if Chevy trucks, either on FMS or Axial. At $120, with 2 speed transmission and a super detailed body, it doesn't put axial scx24 in a good position, even with their proven platform.
The proportions look off, the Disco is lacking the back overhang, the Defender’s windows are not tall enough, and the Range Rover does not capture the original lines that make it so iconic. I have mixed feeling about this release…
That's a Discovery 1, not a Range Rover...Not a bad little scale crawler for the money, seems close to a Mini Z in performance. Even though they're licensed bodies, some of the details are a bit heavy. That's annoying as I was initially tempted, but with neither scale precision nor great ability it's neither a Mini Z nor SCX24; a sort of halfway house without a defined strength.
FMS continues to impress me. I feel they are squeezing as much value out of the trending scale market rather than bank breaking mechanical gains. Keeps the cost down.
I recently bought one of theese FMS FCX24M and must say it is a BIG DISSAPOINTMENT. Axle gear is made form metal, but that metal has quality of wet mud. Just about after 20 minutes of driving, rear and front axle gear is shattered into chunks of metal. Now the model is just standing on shelf motionless. I bought it direcly from FMS. Tried to contact their support and they will just ignore you. Thats their solution. Done. No reply. No warraty repair. Just silence from their side. If you look it up on forums, you will see it is quite common problem. So i took another bunch of money and wanted to order spare parts. U can only buy new modified version V2 gears (so they know, that V1 design has design flaws) but it is not compatible with V1 axles. You have to buy V2 axle to fit newer V2 gears. And you know what....the v2 axles are all sold out. I would newer ever buy anything from FMS again and advise you do the same. Customer support is terrible and quality too! I dont get the hype.
Why are all the 1/24 scale crawlers way bigger… They’re more like 1/20 scale. Wheelbase for a discovery should be around 105mm not 134.. For scale the wheels are also way too big.

Yep it's a Discovery, certainly not a Range Rover 😂. Good review

Looks like it'w working! Forthe price of 1 1/10, one can get four... especially with that bulk discount.
I remember seeing videos of these trucks as a kid. It's really cool to see the Camel Trophy history being kept alive
Yeah, it was the golden age for these kinds of adventures. Craz folks pushed the boundaries of overlanding early on.
@@RCReviewChannel Yeah man, the Camel Trophy spirit and Group B.. special times!

You got the better of the two by far! Fcx18 green mod is legendary!!! No one has the green mod online.
Great review! That’s so cool that there’s 4 different models! Incredible scale detail too!

Cool to see the newer body styles since everyone has D90s and 110s already

The review I was waiting for! I ordered all 4 and can't wait to drive them! Great video as always!
All four? You are so very, very lucky!!!
@RCReviewChannel absolutely! Couldn't resist lol. Love your channel!
Are you going to post a video because I would love to see the other model
@@whiskers762 of course!
I would like to buy the Redcat Ascent but with import taxes it's to expensive in Europe. Is much difference for indoor crawling?
This looks really scaled. I have the lc80 from FMS and love it. Thanks again!
Nice tip at the end that is gonna help alot because i just bought a esc and reciever to go on my austar
where do you get the obstacles please???
Get the D90 and compare it to the D1RC. Also a comparison with the Mini-Z Defender would be awesome.
I am looking forward to receiving one of these in the post soon from aliexpress...thank you for sharing the review 🤗
0:46 This is Discovery, not Range Rover.
@@loadsamtube that is correct my friend, thank you
Yes it's a Discovery but the RC comes in 4 variations, Range Rover, Discovery, Defender 90, and Defender 110

Good video. Are these water-proof?
Help, why does the module fms fcx24m spin to the left side when moving forward and constantly turn to the right, what could be the reason?

Would this be a better purchase (quality wise) compared to the FMS 1/18 FCX18 TOYOTA Land Cruiser 80 RTR for $180? Thank you for the video!
I wish they were 1/18 scale., 1/24 is just a bit too small.
Same here, when I saw the FMS email with the new line of Land Rovers I was going to buy all 4 of them until I realized they are 1/24. Now I don’t know, maybe I’ll get just the Discovery 1.
They are small 😊 but I still want to mod the crap out of one
The only thing I will say I don't like is they did such a good job on the bodies that I won't have anything to change on them. I'll definitely be picking one or two of them up eventually
I do love FMS! So cute! 😂
4 cute new lil buggers

It'snotajeep!
cool new look, RC with great adventure, always good videos bro👍👍😃
Thank you so much 😀
Isn't that the discovery?
Correct!!!
I love the fms discovery. Are you planning to buy and review the d1rc discovery?
Oh whuuuut? there's a D1RC Discovery? I'll take a look but i'm not sure I can afford that.
@@RCReviewChannel yeaa it's so pretty. I'm looking in buying it.

Right on, good input.
Finally some bodies other than the usual! (not the Defenders, those are old... 😅)
It's so top heavy 😊 now I want to get one and mod the heck out of it
can anyone tell me how to put the lights on?
Very nice unboxing and review video👍🤩✅️
I think the discovery is the coolest of the 4. But you need all 4 to let know what you think. 😂
Beautiful looking vehicle ❤😊

thanks bud!

Minuto 13:34 non è una Range Rover 😢

I'd say the M stands for Mini.
The ”M” stands for ”Trolling Traxxas TRX-4M”.
Hehe😉sweet 👌
this is Discavery 😅
If they released a toyota 4 pack id be all over it
Awesome bodies.
Disappointing otherwise.
Roof rack delete pls
great idea!!
Eat crow Traxxas!. Traxxas is all about the money! This class of cars are also known as EDM (Eastern Dirt Modified or East coast Dirt Modified) .
Thank you for that information!!
Not too excited huh, just in it for the monies 😂. I’ll watch something else.
@@Sparroh can’t be too excited about every single RC car. That would take a lot of fake energy like some TH-camrs
