- Having another go at running the ITBs. Balance is getting there. CarPC keeps crashing so I can't attempt to tune it yet :( They're triumph t595 throttle bodies customised to fit onto a KL flange.
If you're wondering why the sound changes half way in, it's the electric exhaust cut-out valve... I don't think the phone mic liked it much!
I find that ITBs are oddly erotic.
Whats sad is mx6 and mx3 are never talked about anymore, I think we need to bring back the prototype, 14yrs later im.picking up another mx6 klze 5 speed mint!!!!!!
The TBs were just bolted down onto the flange, each TB has bolt holes for mounting. No AFM as that would require a sealed airbox, it was run on alpha-n in megasquirt. Wiring was easy, tuning I never got to grips with on alpha n and there wasn't enough MAP difference to run MAP tuning.

did you weld the flange to fit the trottle bodies on?? what did you do with the air-flow sensor?? how much work is it to make the electronics work on this??

Linkage was from Jenvey, it requires some modding to work, I'm sure there's a better way to do it- jenvey.co.uk
For fitment it was laborious, involved splitting the TBs and spacing them. Weld little tabs of metal in between to extend the levers. I used a router to make flanges, or you could CNC them.
HP unknown. I got fed up trying to balance them and trying to work out alpha n on megasquirt. The sound was unreal though, unveiled the full v6 soundtrack. Just went turbo instead and made 291bhp @7psi
