- After finding a number of gold specimens we decide to search for a quartz reef in the surrounding area. Gold detecting in Australia is fun, searching for a quartz reef that contains gold nuggets is even more exiting. At BK Gold Detecting we use Minelab detectors, I have the GPZ 7000 and Eliza has the GPX 6000 with the Coiltec Gold Hawk coil, We love prospecting in Australia and hope you enjoy our videos where we try to teach beginners how to find their first gold nugget.
Another great watch BK

Thanks for the video great work guy's.
Great video. Very entertaining.
I’d be using the 9” Goldhawk over the 14DD in that area. Plenty of gold in that area when you slow down and get the coil to the ground. Thanks for sharing
I agree, Eliza mainly uses the Goldhawk but wanted to give the DD a try to see if it was quieter on the hot ground. It is a bit quieter but the response to targets is not as good as the gold hawk.
Try both
Your videos are always enjoyable and informative, even if I'm on the other side of the planet! [California]
I hope Eliza's foot is ok.
Thanks, and Eliza is well on the way to recovery. You may have noticed her wearing a special shoe in the video, but she is walking very well now.
Thank you 🙏🏼 The stitches have since came off a few days ago and I can walk much better. Unfortunately the surgery was on top of my foot so it will take awhile before I can put my boots 🥾 on again😊
Feet are terribly complex. Wishing you the quickest recovery possible.
Do you know what is in the bucket? Old timer might of Buried it for a reason , possibly gold from the nearby mines he worked at. I be taking a soil sample out of it.
Now you got me thinking, might need to go back there and get the bucket out🤔
@@ElizaYoke Eliza just down the track from. We're you are working a friend of ours while looking for bottle tops in a rubbish area found 4 sov's in an old tin thrown out so think about it if some can throw a tin of sov's out why would anyone Bury a miners bucket in ground . I would have to know.
@detrackozi6292 Looks like we might need to check that bucket ⛏️⛏️
