In the UK I'm sure he was called Wally. The books were all 'where's wally' and some had this bad (naughty) dude in or his dog. I could have been dreaming this totally xx
I got the Cranberry Orange soap from you in 2021. I just cut the bar in half and put it in my bathroom and the colors are still bright and the fragrance is Amazing!! I will continue to buy your soap as long as you are making it. I love your kindness and quirkiness. And I love ❤️ your soaps!! I have so many bars of them.
I know you said you already have the next 3 collections planned, but this color pallette is making me want a vintage seaside soap! Something about that blue like a big sky and waves, with milky white clouds, and tiny white seashells. That red is like the perfect sun-faded red that you'd see on an umbrella or a little boat or something 🏖🌊🦀🐚🛟⛵️
I never had a where's Waldo book until I was about 11 or so, so I was much h kroe familiar with i-spy. I loved the books, and even had a little video game of it at some point. Didn't care much for the show they had, but I loved just staring at the pictures, they were so creative and awe-inspiring!
oh man, I LOVED the Where's Waldo books! I would get so distracted just looking at everything that was going on in that page because there were little so many funny little scenarios. Sometimes I'd forget to look for Waldo!
There’s a Where’s Wally (what we call Where’s Waldo in the UK) Guinness record, where people dressed up as Wally gather in huge groups to try and be the biggest group of Where’s Wally lol. I’m not sure if it’s a thing anywhere other than England, but there was an attempt in my home town but unfortunately it failed.
Also, I'm a baker and something interesting to use is black or red cocoa powder. Not only does it taste good, it smells delectable and actually is black

OMG Katie I was practically raised on those Nancy Drew Games! I would highly highly highly recommend them, they are so much fun! (although you may need to pull up a walkthrough at some points 😂. If you ever get around to making a Nancy drew soap, I would loooovvvveee to see it!
I loved where in the wild is Carmen San Diego! Two other pc games that come to mind growing up is Oregon Trail and Bugdom. I would rush through my work at school in computer class just to play those!!
Bugdom!! Gold! And the Oregon trail is such a classic. We also had one at the school that was a dinosaur... with a jet pack trying to find eggs. Something like that 🤪

I adored the I Spy books! I could sit and stare at them for hours, and go back to them over, and over again. I especially loved I Spy Spooky Night, because even as a child I was into all things spooky & Hallowe'en-y. Those books had a transportive quality to them. There was something almost dreamlike about the images. I think because they were photos, rather than illustrations, and had depth to them, I could better imagine myself in those worlds.
Walter Wick actually came to my elementary school and signed a few i spy books I'd gotten so I'm very partial but this soap bar is so wholesome. Waldo books really are fabulous.
I know exactly which fairy you’re talking about! I’m from Arizona, and I used to go to the Arizona Renaissance Festival every year. But then I moved to Oregon, and I really missed it. So this year I went back, and I saw that beautiful fairy again!
When I was a kid my local library had this book that was like I Spy, but it was little scenes made out of random objects. Like a house where the window blinds were made of tea bags. I checked it out all the time!
Where I live, here in Colorado, a few years ago we had a horrific wildland fire burn thru Waldo Canyon and a neighborhood. Now, every year, in the summer there is a Where's Waldo run/walk to benefit those who lost homes and replant the forest and fund the wildland firefighting teams.
I was at a convention once where I saw sometime dressed as Waldo and someone else dressed as Carmen Sandiego. I was thinking how perfect it would be if I got a picture of the two of them together. Also, that blue reminds me of a rocket pop.
One of the places I worked had hidden Waldo stickers all around the warehouse. Some people never even noticed them, some took years to realize there was one in the break area. Only a few of us ever found all of them.
My favorite "search and find" style book when I was a kid was actually a Pagemaster version of Where's Waldo where you'd find cartoon!Macaulay Culkin in the various Pagemaster genre worlds. I'm 30 and I still have the book because I loved it so much.
This just brought back a childhood memory! When I was around 8/9 my bike got stolen. I lived in an apartment complex that was like a subdivision. I drew a map of the subdivision in the back of my where's waldo book and me and my friends split up to try and find it. I named the page "Where's my bike". Never did find it!

Omg, I saw one at the Shakopee, MN faire too! I was a red mushroom 😊 I had no idea it was a common costume at ren faires! lol It was so fun to see that little red hat amongst the other period outfits 😂
I don't know if you've done this yet, and I know you have your themes picked out for a while now, but I thought a good theme would be all soaps inspired by your favorite scents. Whether it's their name of the colors it makes you think of.

Then you popped up looking completely adorable with a super fun personality, and as soon as you mentioned Carmen San Diego, I hit 'Subscribe' as fast as I could. I had a super ccute set of fantasty creatures I Spy books when I was a kid. I think my aunt gave them to me. They even had little flap doors and windows that you had to open to find things amongst the faeries, gnomes, mermaids, and their mice friends.
There's a netflix show called where in the world is Carmen San Diego, **very very loosely** based off the original TV show (which to my understanding was based off the original games). I quite enjoyed it 😊. I also enjoyed the old TV show. I didn't realise it was also a game until my dad mentioned he'd played it before 😂.

He's Wally in Australia too 😊 The bad guy is Odlaw (Waldo, backwards)...I guess Yllaw wouldn't work so well 😂
There’s the bad dude, the wizard, the dog (but I think you find just his tail?), a scroll or book, and the lady if I remember right haha
He was named Wally in Poland too! The bad guy was renamed to "Lewus" which in polish means "suspicious looking guy" or "butterfinger"/"loser" :D

Love layered soaps. The blue stripe addition does make me think of the aquafresh toothpaste commercials from back in the day.

They're so cute and they also remind me of those red, white and blue bomb pops that we got when the ice cream truck came by in the Summer!
