david mitchell the unstoppable logic machine! and yes, pretty much the only person to make frankie boyle laugh!
Was this true or was it a lie? I really want to know!
Do you think all the panelists made a pact that night that they would all grow beards together?
David Mitchell is hilarious! Love how he can be passionate about anything, defiantly the best on that panel.
Defiantly indeed, very defiant.
Mitchell is incredible! Truly highly intelligent and funny!
he is always adorable
watching it on the playlist and saw the answer before the question well done bbc
Frankie Boyle's dvd is so close to the bone... I LOVE it!
god I love frankie and david, they are so funny.
I immediately thought, "Of course it's true! Why else would Frankie be so darkly humorous?"
Bear-faced truth... I think itcould be true - you can see he's trying to make is sound ridiculous whilst reading it. David Mitchel MAKES this show! Love it!
frankie said himself, he looks like the bear from bo selecta lol
crying with laughter!
i actually was terrified of something similar to this
1. pause the video
2. press left and up arrows on your keyboard at the same time
3. enjoy a game of snake use arrow keys to move the snakе
Christine Bleakley
omg i had 'tell me another tale'! Fave book as a kid :D
"Well, that's a matter of opinion." =D
the bear is a metaphor for god, and how ridiculously the idea there is a god is.
@spaceoreo I really love it when he takes on Lee Mack.
Yeah I was, he is still rather adorable though
and then "why is this happening, bear" said Frankie Boyle
Fuck me, got a hernia from laughing too hard now
breaking the fourth wall in the book that is your life. some crazy shit comes up on these shows sometimes.
I like to imagine that you were aiming for, "definitely the best on the panel," and when you accidentally typed "defiantly" you decided that was more appropriate.
True.
i know its brilliant!
This has got to be true - Frankie Boyle is wacky enough!!
i'm gonna buy his auto biography and close it.
OMG that's Jack Whitehall that's sitting next to David Mitchell
It would explain a lot though.
omg Jack Whitehall looks adorable!
@scotchprofessor
Actually I would say that Boyle's material is what defines him as a comic far more from the fact that he's Scottish. John Bishop gets by hamming up the Scouse bit, Rhod Gilbert by hamming up that he's from Wales, the likes of Lee Mack and Peter Key in being Northern and Michael MacIntyre in being a camp southerner. Regional identity plays a massive part in comedy, not just the BBC's take on it.
Yes.
reminds me of the book - Sophie's world
That would make an amazing film, directed by Michel Gondry.
David Mitchell's argument against Frankie's statement, only goes to prove that David has never seen the film 'Stranger than fiction' ^^
frankie looks like the bear from bo selecta
that's awesome you were very close :)
True :D
@McBrideKirsty thats the one! thanks
david mitchell is a genius
well he started comedy at 17 and he is now 23 so you are most likely right :)
NEVER WATCH THIS SHOW WHILE EATING CEREAL
Ah the British Comedy Shows at their finest.
i think you mean have i got news for you!
Thing with frankie boyle: He makes you laugh from time to time until you piss yourself but most of the time his just fucking crude and mean.
Thing with David Mitchel: He always makes you laugh, but not as much as frankie on a good day.
hahahahahahaaaa! i bet its true!
Yeah, he is
i know right!!!!
i know he looks so young!
@scotchprofessor
Is 'River City' still going? That was BBC, Scottish and popular, the TV adaptations of the Rebus novels were all done by the BBC. Northwest tonight is unlikely to broadcast Scottish sport's news but I'm sure the Scottish equivalents do. Then there's 'Legit', 'Still Game', 'Empty', 'Happy Holidays' and 'The High Life' all sitcoms by the BBC and set in Scotland.
David Mitchell is the only comedian that can make Frankie laugh.
Then again Frankie scored 98% of a psychopath test...
Kurt Cobain Stewart Francis on Mock the Week.
i think it's... true. people can be effing weird when they're kids.
i can tell from his expression that it is true as he was saying it and stuff but does anyone know whether or not it was?
Surely this question came about because of the bear in Bo Selecta which looks just like Frankie Boyle
I love David Mitchell. Legend!
Thumbs up if you think they should make a buddy cop movie with David Mitchell and Frankie Boyle as partners!
YES! Another being Stewart Francis.
Frankie boyle on Would I Lie To You?
Im so Sky+ing this one.
@blandybo that's exactly why he's funny.
lol he said that about himself in another show
@spongiebungie watch the part two, which is titled the same but with "revealed" at the end :D
Why are you so surprised? He's a regular on that show.
@JustUmmar are you referring to anyone in this particular episode?
I know, he must have around I'd say possibly 19 maybe 20
Hilarious XDD
I don't think a book about Frankie Boyle would be suitable for big bears either..
Does anyone else think Jack Whitehall is always out of his depth?
that young one does my head in, does anyone find him funny?
@LoluskPoo he's a metaphor for how God looks cuddly, but can also maul you and steal your Snickers.
haha lololol
@EoLoLoIoOoT Yeah, he's laughed a lot at David Mitchell on Mock The Week as well. Another comedian who also makes him laugh would be Stewart Francis.
Kelvin MacKenzie on a show called "Would I lie to you". Awkward.
@neonlight2000 Yes. I've seen the show.
I
@SteinaIcelander do "we" not? what exactly am I supposed to leave?
definitely*
I... just... there is no way to sit through this without thinking of paedobear.
And, yes, I am pelling "paedobear" as it should be spelt.
What age did this peculiar thought come to you? Quite early up till i was like seven or eight. If that's the case then he is doing far better than kelvin who's peculiar thoughts were coming way after he was eight.
I LOVE DAVID MITCHELL he is a comedy god i want to marry him and is it just me or has he lost loads of wait? it makes him look taller...
Why is Kelvin McKenzie on here. He has never said anything that wasn't a lie in his life.
@moutaz30 It's intentional, I think it's because the British think it's charming to be socially awkward and vulnerable. Might be wrong though. About the second part, not the first.
so ... did he come or what?
doesnt frankie look like the bear from bo selecta
I was close, he was 21, I figured it out coz he's the same age as me
was it true?
@r4ng3hustle Christine Bleakley i think your talking about?
Does anyone know if it was true or false
@blandybo David Mitchell is an Atheist, therefore he is certainly not pious. Also the show is based of having an attitude of "That's so ridiculous," the whole point is to figure out whether or not the unbelievable story is fact of fiction.
Read Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder, that's where this comes from...
Why did they get rid of Angus Deayton? He was a really witty host.
@bigmoslim it wasn't
IMPOSSIBLE
I love this show! Just reviewed it on my channel :) x
@EoLoLoIoOoT Yeh, I've always noticed that.
@Hezvar It was unfortunately a lie :(
@scotchprofessor
ur scottish we get it
So was it true?!
so was this true or not?
So was it true?
