      @Gymantis I mean to be fair Jokic did need a little more help than Compazzo to actually win the chip 😅 but I get where you're coming from, everybody else makes their teammates better under the right circumstances whereas Jokic does it all the time

      Facu is a really solid pg. Jokic makes his teammates better but You gotta give facu his respects. Only reason he is not still in the NBA is bc he prefers europe plus he is 5'10 at most which makes him a defensive liablity altought he really tries hard and is as good as You can get at that size in such a athletic and skilled league

    Russ was one of the guys, maybe even the guy, who got me into basketball. I have always loved that he plays at one speed for better or for worse, and that he’s incredibly active and aggressive without being a dirty player. For the last few years I’ve just wanted to see him in a position to succeed, I was excited when his Clippers stint went pretty well in his reduced role. As someone who has defended him for a few years now, this season has been so fun to watch.

    Arguably the best offensive player in NBA history, redemption Murray, revived Russ, a Braun who seems to get better and better, Gordon and MPJ.
    From what i have seen in the west NO TEAM is beating OKC in a 7 game series. However if the Nuggets make one trade that can significantly improve the bench, this is the only team i can see having a chance against them.
    Denver winning a ring with Jokic, who would officially cement himself as a Top 10 player in NBA history and a starting Russ who everyone labeled as "washed" would be one of the most beautiful storys in NBA history.

    Who didn't, maybe you did. And who said he was washed up, you and everyone did, and especially the lame media. See the point is this, whenever you all starts talking about his being washed up, you are still talking like lame stream media. Russ' bad rap started when he got in LA with the Fakers, and everyone piled on, because y'all fake goat was playing like ass. He had good games with the Clippers, but that was overlooked, and he was pushed out. Jokic knew he still had some steam left, because overseas those guys play past 30 because they play real, rules oriented baskeball, not in the NBA and it's easy to exploit the NBA rules with all of the cheating and gambling. Russ was never done, the media and haters just gave up, he didn't. Good on Jokic for picking him up when everyone else was taking him for granted.

  • @cugelchannel4733
    @cugelchannel4733 2 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

    Russ was supposed to save the Lakers as a $40m super-star and that was a disaster. He didn't fit with an ageing Lebron. Not a surprise! With the Clippers they immediately signed James Hardin and Russ just didn't fit. In Denver he simply fits with Jokic. It's huge. Russ doesn't have to take tons of 3's. As for Aaron Gordon he's been injured this season, but he's shooting 40.7% from 3 this year! He worked all summer on his 3pt shooting and it shows, he's been a lot more confident shooting them. If he does that in the playoffs nobody is going to be able to drop off him and let him shoot, although they will try and do that with Russ. It doesn't help defenses though that Jokic is about leading the league in 3pt % at 47%.

  • @j-rey-
    @j-rey- 6 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +3

    Amazing what Russ can do when he actually lets someone else run the offense and he doesn't stand around off ball. This is what people have been saying for the last ten years, but he always insisted on having one of the highest usage percentages in the league, trying to get triple doubles, gambling on defense for steals, getting high turnovers, and standing around with his hands on his knees on offense. Now, he trusts Jokic to find the right pass and uses his hustle to move around all the time off ball. He finally figured it out.

    I don't buy it. Russ is currently profiting from the league finally having realized he's not a threat and to be fair from some genuine hustle. If cuts are a major part of your game, it's because your defender stopped paying attention to you. Genuinely I've seen Russ' defenders stand half way between him and the rim a lot of the time. He's getting the most open corner 3s in the league, because no one respects them. When they use him as a ball handler, he doesn't seem to know what to do half the time. I think if NBA defenses start paying even a little bit of attention to him again, he'll crumble.
