This is an absolute masterpiece. The Part where the triumphant music plays as Samus succeeded the Walljump and the Shinespark alongside the animals genuinely made me emotional.
Thank you, yeah the walking part is actually a procedural animation. The bridge scene was originally going to feature Samus just looking around standing still, but I wanted to change it to continue the walking motion from the previous cut. And since I was running out of time, I just went with a procedural walk cycle. Everything else was animated by hand. The focus of the video was the environment, not Samus, so that's where most of my attention went, until I ran out of time.
Metroid is one of the most atmospheric series in the history of gaming. I've been in love with the series for so long. I just hope that Prime 4 manages to deliver on that same level of atmosphere that Prime 1 through 3 did.

Man, it´s actually a very funny thing. At the end of this video you, guys, thank us for watching it when obviously we should be the ones thanking you. I mean, i´m aware that this isn´t a Mozart´s master piece or something like that, but c'mon, the work is still beautiful. Thanks for sharing it.
So much win! My only question is why Samus is wearing the Metroid Prime 2 and 3 Varia suit in Super Metroid. I can hardly complain, though. That was amazing.
This and The Crimson Depths are two of my favorite songs from Harmony of a Hunter. AWESOME JOB. I love how you take them from a 16-bit(?) style to a full Orchestra with Choir.

Yeah the liquid effects were really difficult, that was the first time I worked on anything like that, so a lot of time was spent experimenting. Hehe, I'm happy you enjoy the song too, I got one more Super Metroid song on the way, and possibly another video :)

Wow, excellent opening cinematic... almost exactly how I'd always pictured it (the water cascading into the shaft is a nice touch). Tons of work obviously went into this... congrats for that, and for the album's reception. I didn't manage to snag a physical copy, but goes to show how successful it's been!

@1upD I used the only model I could find lol >_< If I had time to model her from scratch I would have made the Super Metroid standard suit. But I only had a few months to work on it before the album launched, and the focus was creating the world, not Samus
@InkyBloc Hehe yeah, well I had a time limit with this, and it already took several months just to create what is here, plus I was also composing the Ending Suite for the album as well during that time. But I'm glad you liked it! xD
That was absolutely fucking amazing! I have a passion for 3D modelling and animating. I'm really really new to it but this CG has been a pretty big inspiration for me and only makes me want to work even harder to make some kickass beautiful videos such as that. You are an extremely talented person being able to produce that CG and produce such a beautiful piece of music. Great job! That was brilliant!

*sigh* No, there was no cut at the end in my song. OCR tried to use the version from the album, which was edited by the folks working on it to blend it with other tracks, instead of the original clean version I provided when I submitted it to them.

@purplecowadoom Honestly, I was frustrated by Retro changing the design without explanation. It looks awesome, but how do you explain it? Her suit changes into this awesome looking Federation-y design with the extra green highlights and cool visor and then BAM, it changes back for no raisin in Metroid 2. Other M's design would have been nice if they would have just followed Super's design more closely while changing a few things that didn't appear in 2D. Then there might be some pattern.
