    You could burn a logo into the handle and leather to show that it's an original Tim/Martin handle and sheath.

    16:27 Martin’s face looks like Tim just handed him a carburetor in a box that was all taken apart for Martin to put back together for him🤣🤣💪🏼
    Martin, your the MAN!!!!
    Everything is better when Martin puts his hands on it!!!🤣🤣🤣🤦🏻‍♂️

    Hey Tim. What a great video, it's truly great to see you working through all the problems that come your way and not letting them discourage you. Nice to see you developing tooling to combat these problems. Keep up the great work, love the video bro.

    This is one of my all time fav channels. I am only a few minutes in and I will keep watchin... I am wondering if the smaller hatchet will be more affordable. That’s not a slam! You make it the price what you need it to be. For me, it would be nice to support the channel and not break the bank.

    When you are flattening the top of the axe, you could put a drift in the top of the machine to keep the eye from closing.

    I've purchased the Hudson axe and now the Blackhawk hatchet, both for my father in WA.
    I'm disappointed the Blackhawk hatchet doesn't have a serial number and is not made from the1908 Northern Line rail, but it is what it is.
    Feel free to wrap the Blackhawk hatchet in a 4XLT Blacksmith Shop T-shirt.
    Thank you very much for your time and consideration 👊🦊👍

    head that weight works really well as a boys/forest axe, around a 20 in handle, so you can 1 or 2 hand it... see if you like that idea.

    Why don't you use a second short drift in the second axe shaping die, that should insure that you have a nice looking eye while developing a great shape

  • @dappermanphoto
    @dappermanphoto 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    People will watch this video and still somehow find a way to complain it's a $300 dollar hatchet even though more work goes into one hatchet than most do in a days worth of work at their job lol. Also it's sad that the hot spun bowls haven't sold, guess I'll have to make an order soon

  • @sirnutzthe3rd519
    @sirnutzthe3rd519 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Would it be possible to custom order a titanium axe?

  • @ariesdane5876
    @ariesdane5876 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I don't like the maker's mark being so close to the blade of the axe. It adds small, but unnecessary friction and eventually get worn away. Seems like it would make more sense to put it on the butt.

I love when you make projects with unique metals and unique builds that take technical application to accomplish. i will always like and comment on something interesting, so find interesting things to forge.
