Freddie, the local club has a very active 2m repeater. It is matched with a 70cm repeater that will be on air shortly. The repeaters and duplexers will share a common controller. You have absolutely sold me on ASL3. Am I correct to "assume" that one ASL pi can function on both repeaters? Yes, same location and the racks will be next to each other. Thanks for all that you do and 73. Bill. KF0NNQ.
If you have opened the firewall for Node Remote, then 5038 is already added. If not, then you can simply add the astmgr service in the firewall the same as you would for Node Remote.
hey Freddie i have done something wrong with Allmon3 dash board it will connect to one of my nodes on but not the other 3 nodes it says this ( 28503 - Unavailable Node Conns: 0 Up: 0 Allmon3 is not responding to requests for this node. Check server logs.) I'am new to allstar3 and allmon3 have been on alllstar for years but have not been on in five years and have no idea hat is wrong!
Are you a member of my Discord server? If not look in the description of this video or in the description of the channel and join up,it’s free. There are folks there that can help. Just goto the AllStarLink section and ask away.
Any of these methods have a way of allowing the auto patch from radio to phone network? Like 2m used to do, Star up, pound down for telephone hook control.
@@HamRadioCrusader yes they are the same. (BTW, its hamvoip/supermon6.2 where i'm doing the multi-nodes, not 7.4 as posted above.) Actually the node can connect without any problem using allmon3, supermon7.4 separately. But not in multi-nodes.
Thank you Freddie
Freddie you have become Mr. Allstar. You are the "Allstar Guru" Thanks for all you do.

@@KF0NNQ as long as you have 2 node numbers. And two sound FOB interfaces you can run 2 from one Raspberry Pi
GMRS node? Thought the FCC just ruled that was not allowed. Keep up the good vids - learning a lot.
Very nice, thanks Freddy !

Can you explain how you achieved this? I would like to share the details please.
@@HamRadioCrusader- exactly as you did in your video “Node Remote for allstarlink 3” @ 0:50.
It’s the same port 5038 that’s needed here.

I can pull the node from asl3/debian to hamvoip/supermon7.4, but it says "Could not connect to Asterisk Manager." Anyone?
@@edwinm.8404 Does the username & password for that node in your allmon.ini match the one for the same node in the ASL3 manager.conf ?

hey Freddie ur invite link has expired
You mentioned gmrslive but never touched that subject? i know gmrslive is dead but still relevant for other networks.
I made and uploaded this video right before I found out GMRSLive shutting down. My videos are uploaded ahead of time and released on a schedule.
@@HamRadioCrusader there is a new network taking over the void left by the other network.
