"Lets see if anything explodes" 😂That's what I tell myself every time I check for shorts and I do not find any. Yet when it comes time to power the GPU on I always think as you. I think we both know why. It has happed before ! No shorts when poking around, then pop when you power it on!

Perhaps, you should have fixed the LED cos it looks easy enough. Diode or capacitor
