Jaquie, I’ve been silently watching your TH-cam for almost two years now. I found you through my soul searching during my melanoma diagnosis. But this post is not about me. I wanted to share that your positivity and faith has greatly helped me to discover my own. My prognosis has greatly improved, and I live a normal life now. But I continue to keep up with your story. I wanted to share a bit of wisdom I was given during those hard days. Being positive and pushing through is a wonderful outlook. But at the same time letting your fear, anger, and frustrations out is also healthy. Never keep it bottled inside, let the emotions out in a productive manner, this includes having a good long cry. It’s your body’s way of relieving that stress. It’s ok to even share that frustration here on your channel. It just proves one thing we all love about you. You are simply human.

How are you doing with having melanoma? I knew someone who got the same diagnosis and unfortunately passed away. She was 33. My grandpa was diagnosed as well at 90 and passes away 6 months later.

I'm right there with you Jaquie. Recovering from my brain surgery. The hardest part I think is when you hit that wall of depression and anxiety. Or just the wall of despair and fear. I'm thinking of you every day. You are my inspiration to keep looking forward. It's gonna be ok.

I’m so sorry Jaquie! I hope you start feeling better soon. You have a brand new house to look forward to. I thought Judd was sweet saying that’s what you do for the people you love. My husband has been my rock thru my 2 hospital stays this yr (and every day of course). I’m glad you have a support system. It’s totally ok to take a break from TH-cam so you can get better. You don’t need our permission. You do you!! Praying for you!!

Jacquie, this is so emotional. I don't have chronic illness but I am a breast cancer survivor (10 years this month) so I can empathize with how overwhelmed you feel. I suffer with anxiety/depression as well and I understand how every added issue, whether big or small, can throw you over the edge. My advice is to take stock of what's really important and what things are just minor inconveniences in the big picture. I know the house, the moving, the unpacking, the transitioning from hospital to home can be a lot to handle, but if you put it in perspective, those things can be put on the back burner. They will all work themselves out. Put all your energy into your recovery from your current health issues and your discharge from the hospital. I'm glad you found a reasonable pain management doctor. That's so important. And Judd is ABSOLUTELY a keeper. You guys make a great couple. It's obvious how much love flows between the two of you. I'm thinking about you and so hoping that the next vlog will show you out of the hospital and in your new house. Love you all.

Authenticity and acknowledging emotions (even when they’re far from upbeat or glamorous) is so admirable and needed. Thank you for always being a courageous example for all of us, whether we have a chronic illness or not. I definitely relate as someone with chronic illness (Long QT Syndrome, severe Gastroparesis, etc.). Sometimes the treatments we need in order to stay alive make us feel less alive each second, but I hope you never forget that sharing your truth from every angle, knowing it may be misunderstood, doesn’t make you negative or a gloomy influence. It makes you resilient and human, and you are not fighting this alone. Giving up for the day and resting isn’t the same as giving up entirely, it just allows you to reset yourself to keep going. 💜

When you are in the moment, you can't see all the good days you've had, and the light at the end of the tunnel is really dim. Knowing it's there is half that battle, so you are miles ahead of so many, as you say just keep moving forward...you got this!!! You remind this community that they are not alone, I'm glad so many were here to remind you of that too, knowing it doesn't always mean you feel it so I hope you are feeling it today. Stay strong and stay focused, there is a beautiful new house at the end of this particular road, it needs you strong and healthy to make it your own!!!!

Oh no. I'm so sorry you have to deal with all of this. I know the horrors of anaphylaxis all too well. Sharing your experience even through this difficult time takes strength I don't know if I'd be able to summon.
I'll be praying, in my own way, that all of this resolves quickly and you can find a good balance again and enjoy settling into your beautiful new house with your beautiful family.
Now... take some much needed time for yourself and snuggle lots of Hippo and hug your hubby.
Much, much love and many hugz to you all from across the pond.
Love/ Your very own Swede, Helena.

It’s so nice to see someone in pain and knows what it’s like to be pushed down so much. I hate knowing someone is in pain. But I am glad I am not alone. My pain is caused from mental issues and physicals ones that cause me to not being able to move. And always getting yelled at for my grades because school is hard enough to do without pain but including it makes it sooo much harder. And having a family that doesn’t believe makes it’s so much worst I wish my family was like hers. Caring always able to be there.

  • @chelsey7312
    @chelsey7312 5 ปีที่แล้ว

It's so hard to see you struggling this bad mentally. Chronic Illness is so unpredictable and you have no idea what's around the next corner, you can never predict what's next. We're all rooting for you and we all know how strong you are. These downs are eventually going to be up's and we're all anxiously waiting for you to start getting back to your baseline. You're one of the strongest people we've ever seen. You need time to yourself to heal and recover from this unpredicted MRSA and hospitalization. Your church is behind you, your family is behind you, your subscribers are behind you. This is a brutal time to be going through all of this, it's supposed to be a happy time in your new home, celebrating Easter but sadly you're stuck inpatient. Just remember that this is where God meant you to be at this very moment, safe in the hospital. He knows you can't handle all this on your own at home, and that's okay. Soon, you'll be able to enjoy your new home without these constant anaphylaxis reactions, pain and infection. Soon, you'll be cozy where you want to be but for now, know we're all on your side. We're all sending you positive vibes and thoughts! *We know you can do this! * . Keep on fighting, we're rooting for you and we support every decision you make. Focus on yourself and start healing! We love you Jaquie!

You are not alone! I'm going thru a simular situation myself. I have eds, MCAS, pots, and rheumatoid arthritis. I'm not hospitalized but mostly bed bound from a mast cell flare and RA flare. We are closing on our house today. My hubby and I have 3 kids, they each have eds, MCAS, and pots. So the packing and chaos is being handled mostly by my husband and my parents. I have been feeling down a bit myself, I can hardly get to the bathroom myself, let alone try and pack a box. I'm sleeping most my time, but thankfully my home med protocol is keeping from being impatient. I understand your frustration, and you will get thru this. Sometimes we have to fall back a few steps before moving forward again, but we always move forward. Lots of love and gentle hugs!

1 second, 1 minute, 1 step at a time-it may seem like ur going backwards, but there are some small victories-like getting the surgery over and done with!! It may not seem like it, and that ur not moving fast-but you are moving forward-maybe in tiny ways-but is forward!! As I often say/remind myself/ tell myself-“I’m sure it will work out in the wash”! We are ABSOLUTELY here with you-and are here to support you 1000%. Take whatever time you need to do what you need to do-we will be here for you whenever you come back!! Have you thought about seeing a social worker/someone to talk things over with in the hospital?-I find it really helps when I’m struggling-and feeling I’m getting nowhere fast. You are going thru a TON right now-a new house (just to name 1 thing, among so many others) is considered a MAJOR life stressor-and that’s for people that are “normal”/and don’t suffer the challenges you do on a day to day basis! Please be kind to yourself, and know that we are cheering you and your family on, every step of the way!

*tight, tight hugs* I’m so sorry you’re going through this, but you’re right. YOU’RE not alone. Take at least 5 minutes to close your eyes & breathe. Although we’re all worried about you, don’t stress about making videos & uploading them. You’re the #1 priority that you need to concentrate on. I know how hard it is to miss out on important things in life, whether it’s a new house or a holiday.
A couple of years ago on Easter morning (Easter is always at my house btw), my parent’s woke up to find me delirious with a 104 temp when I was perfectly fine the day before. I had septicemia of the bladder ... or something like that. It’s still a bit of a blur. But every year, every day, is different.
Just remember - you have a hubby, family, friends, & supporters who care about about you. Our #1 concern is your health & stress is only going to delay your healing. So again, take a deep breath & relax. Take a nap, watch Zootopia, & let your body heal. 💜

I do know how it's an emotional rollercoaster being in the hospital, but I also see that you have a good support network to help you through it. In 2017 I had 10 surgeries and that was just the start. It was a horribly frustrating time, made all the more I sufferable because (as an ex nurse), I felt I deserved to be consulted as an active member of my own care team, but I just wasn't. Different story but the same emotional rollercoaster. Hang in there.

Hey Jaquie! I'm a new subscriber, but I've kinda been lurking for a while lol. I'm a huge fan, and actually have a lot of the same chronic illnesses as you. You've given me a lot of help through the years and I just wanted to thank you for doing what you're doing. :) And I hope you get to feeling better hon.

Jaquie, I've been watching your videos for a few years how and am so grateful for your courage to share your story. I know this is a hard time right now and I'm so sorry you are dealing with this. There is nothing more frustrating than doing everything right only for everything to go wrong. As a fibro warrior I understand this first hand. Keep up the fight, we love you, and don't worry about your house or unpacking or anything else. Just focus all your energy on getting well. Keep your eye on the prize - getting out and getting settled in your new home. I know you want to be involved now, but there will still be boxes that will need to be unpacked, waiting for you, you can also start your plans for decorating (I doubt Judd will take that from you! :D ) We'll be praying for you.

My heart goes out to you Jaquie. You're doing all you can and its not fair that chronic illness just has its own agenda. I hope you get on top of it somehow. Lots of love to you.

Jaquie! Always remember that emotions are human and it’s totally okay for you to feel that way. Remember that God is always with you. I’m sure you got this! I just watched your closing on your house video! Congratulations!! God knows what He puts us through. I’m here for you if you ever need to talk. ☺️ God bless you.

I feel your frustration. I just got test results back that show, once again, that I have no allergies. Pollen season has begun and I am feeling so bad. My face sting when I go out, my breathing gets heavy and my eyes and nose run. All the signs but no allergies... Seeing your frustration too made me cry. Why do some people have to go through a life of pain and other discomforts? It feels very unfair at the moment.
You are not alone either Jackie.
    Much love ❤️

I am where you are right now. My lupus specialist resigned from my hospital and I've been left at the mercy of his junior. My pancreas is dead and I blow up like a ballon if I eat anything solid. My pain is through the roof and I have slow release morphine but it's not touching the pain. I am being forced to have a liver and pancreas biopsy on Friday . They know the upper portion is gone and what's left of my pancreas is full of tumours. If I don't do these potentially deadly tests then I'll have no doctor watching out. Hospital is a nightmare when the nurses get snippy or drag their butts helping us. Chin up look forward to your beautiful new home.

I know it’s hard to stay positive with all of this going on. It’s okay to let yourself feel sad, feel down, feel tired. You just have to know that this too will past. You will come out of this episode and onto new adventures. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and praying for some healing to come your way so that you can get out of the hospital and to your new home!

I am so sorry to see you so young and going through all of this. I have pain most every day but, I am much older than you. I have started CBD oil about a month ago but haven't seen much change. There are so many kinds it is so hard to know which ones to try. Sending you well wishes. It really made me feel better to hear you say we are not going through this alone.
