Quick tip for the people in a hurry, for sage's wills that are on constructs, you can just rip the treasure chest off the construct with ultrahand, loot and scoot.
I discovered that myself, completely by accident when I was trying to remove the critical block. In hindsight that feels MEGA obvious but I just wasn’t thinking about it at all. Figured the chest would have some generic crud like a piece of amber. Funny part is I thought it was worse than amber because I found the construct so early I had no idea the sage’s will had a use. Feels so atypical of totk designers to make something that useful comically cheesable but also not a freebie 🤷♂️
i just nukd them and the treasure just WENT. After staying in one, went to sleep in campfires until Blood Moon passes, and a treasure just spawned for me. Thnx Miyamoto
The fact that you can kill the construct and not get a chest is very confusing and disheartening I'm really really hoping a bloodmoon will fix the problem.
Protip: when fighting gleeoks, fuse keese, octorok, or aerocuda eyeballs to your arrows. It'll home in on their weakpoint so you don't need to aim as much
Fighting gleeoks sucks in my opinion. That giant fireball kills me literally everything because I'm out of range, but the splash damage still does half your health, which is stupid.
Yeah I got mine just the other day. I rushed the story so I could move on to exploring and trying dumb stuff. Fun fact I started dumb stuff early because facing the final boss with 9 hearts, almost no good armor my best armor was a phantom chestplate attack up and 8 defense and the knights outfit at 7 defense a piece for defense and FD set for attack up with 3 defense, and basically no food and none of the food I did have had useful effects for the fight. That final fight is no joke.

For Sage's Will #14, just climb a nearby wall, equip a three shot bow, and shoot the light receiver thing twice with Dazzlefruit. It's much quicker that way.
Once I discovered I was missing two of these but my hero's path looked like I'd covered every island I could spot, I was immensely relieved that the two I'd missed (both of the deathstar ones) were within the first 5 here.
Omg same. Rofl. I reached the end of the video and was missing one, and the heroes path showed i covered everything in the video. I begrudgingly decided to visit each location again since I saw each location done. I realized the death star one I didn't do because I assumed I had done it.
Same. It was number 4 for me, I honestly don’t remember seeing that construct on my way up to the Water Temple. If I did, I probably just thought “eh I’ll get it later” and completely forgot about it.
I cannot express my thanks for this video enough. I've been doing a pretty decent job with keeping up on most of the stuff you've put out or slightly ahead (which isn't saying much given how much time is required to make a video) but this is one of the things I absolutely knew I wouldn't be able to do solo. Gleeok hint: the second you see the heads start to get up, ready your next rocket shield. With the Scimitar of the Seven + Silver Lynel Horn (138 damage) I only needed to use 2 rocket shields. I also keep popping head shots until I’m almost out of stamina and need to drop from bullet time, sometimes fusing arrows with the 5-shot lynel bow to do massive chip. I’ve yet to see what their attacks look like.
It's a weird boss. They're not hard to kill with some prep and decent execution, but their elemental storm attack is stupidly overpowered, so if you slip up and let them summon it then you might as well just restart the fight.
Tip for number Sage# 5 equip recall When the Construct goes in the air and shoots the blocks at you on the ground, recall the nearest block to you, get on it, and land on top of the Construct. The chest is able to be opened while up there! I got on top to strike the main block and saw the Chest next to it. I had nothing to lose when I attempted to open it and VOILA! Sage acquired! You can leave the fight by fast travel. Of finish it for resources. (Saved Time) #6, saved time too. I used Ascend. When it went to slam me with the fist, I ran under, ascended and grabbed the chest as it stood up.
The fact that last night Austin replied to someone saying he'd make this video, and here it is, is why I love this channel. I have 2, and it wasn't until now that I had any idea what they were even for
i love that austin still uses his 194 dmg for lynel fights and still has it in the thumbnail on how to get it and upgrade it to the max yet still he uses a *DECAYED* Royal Guards Claymore
Pro tip: the fiery/icy heads of gleeoks are weak the opposite element so you can one shot them with fire/ice fruits or keese wings for long distance, I don't know what electric monsters are weak to tho. The twilight bow is also great for range.
Electric is weak to wind. It’s weird cause wind isn’t really a usable element in this game. Edit: the queen gibdo wing has 40 fuse power so that counts and would do great damage when paired with a nice weapon like the scimitar of the seven or master sword. U can find a queen gibdo in the Lanayru depths In a battlefield.

Thanks for uploading this. I was having a hard time both with tracking down the Sage's Wills AND how to take out King Gleeok. Never occurred to me to ready Rocket Shields to gain air for bow attacks. Had I known that, would've spared me some frustration by skipping the last phase of the fight.
Don’t even need to use the rocket shields. Whenever the fire and Thunder Gleeoks use their ultimate attack, it creates an updraft you can paraglide on up to the heads. As for the ice Gleeok, you can stand on the icicles and then use recall on them.
This is amazing to just come home from work and have great video to grind out shrines with short perfect detail. I love this series already. Though I kinda wish I had played the first game now that I've played this one

For king gleeok use fire and ice fruit to get rid of the opposite heads quickly. There are also a few pillars you can use ascend on around the arena, If you can't prevent it from doing its final attack go as high as you can and spam arrows with eyes attached to them.
I got one of the King Gleeoks yesterday, it was definitely the hardest fight in the game so far. I can't yet speak for how difficult it is compared to Ganondorf, though Edit: Ganon's harder

Heads up: if you kill a construct miniboss and he doesn’t drop a chest (because you used bombs and the explosions knocked the chests over), teleport out and come back. The chest should respawn on the plateau.

This is very helpful. Thank you. The sage abilities are a bit annoying in comparison to the champion abilities from BOTW. Having to run up to a sage to use the ability isn’t as user friendly as assigning the ability to a pre-existing input. I usually have only Tulin and Yunobo out and the rest are out of the way. With all that said, as someone who doesn’t have all the amiibos it would be awesome to have a guide for finding all the treasure maps. I appreciate the work you put into making these videos.
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but you can also just pull the treasure chest off of flux constructs if you are in a hurry or don't want to battle them
For the #14, you can also wait until around 6:30PM and the sun will be low enough to not require any extra stuff (I stumbled upon that by chance when I accidentally dropped Austin's solution off the side 😂)

I don’t think this helps much but if your looking for fire proof lizards you can go to Timawak shrine. Right behind the shrine a trail has like 5-6 spawning there every so often. Before getting on that trail go to the fork. Then head down
Btw with the geelokz final phase they fly up so high that if you stun them to fall they take fall damage and can die from that alone! I helped my sibling take out the lake hylia geelok and it had 1/4 or 1/3 a health bar left and i used the updraft to get up and hit its eyes then i rushed down to finish it then buckled over laughing seeing the health bar drop to zero instantly XD it felt sooo goood after 8 tries trying to beat it Btw geeloks cant drown o.o their too fat/tall to die in water even when stunned out the sky they just float
16:00 Nothing near that fancy needed. Just grab the door with ultrahand. Hold it up for 10 seconds or so. Drop it, use recall on the door, grab the chest. Boom, done.
280 hours and i finally got all the shrines and lightroots. now looking to find the last 2 sages will. your guide is VERY thorough so i appreciate it. thanks!

a different way to do number 14 is to wait till about 6:00 or a bit earlier the sun hits the edge of the chest platform so just point one mirror forward and the second one towards the light switch using ultra hand.
Thank you so much, Austin, for this awesome video! The rocket shield at the last part against the King Gleeock made the fight so much easier. The first time I fought i burned through an unbelievable amount of resources to kill it.
For the Gleeok, I HIGHLY recommend eyeball attachments (fire keese especially, as they do AOE and can damage multiple heads at once), as they auto track, and for some odd reason, they LOVE to guide your arrows right to enemy weakspots, even if you aim nowhere near the weakspots
The part with the draining of the water, I just used Recall on the drain wall and easily grabbed the chest,. The part with the sun light switch, I summoned a mirror and used Ultrahand to bring it out into the sunlight without the use of the platforms, same results.
Believe it or not I’ve been to the first island but I *skipped* it somehow AND it was the last one I needed! (Hence me watch this video. 🤣😂 Thanks for the help, but I basically watched your video twice because of my minor error.
I have a really good weapon build to defeat the king gleeoks way faster than normal if you are later in the game and have done the floating labyrinths as well as the zora dungeon. Minor spoilers ahead, so don't continue reading unless you already have everything for the build: once you have sidon as the sage of water as well as a lightscale trident, make sure you have the evil spirit armor on to get your 1.8x damage through bone proficiency. Then all you have to do is fuse a molduga jaw. when you knock down the king gleeok activate sidon's ability to double the damage of the trident to 108 damage, which is also boosted by 1.8x, but the game doesn't tell you this. Good luck to any gleeok hunters and perfectionists alike!
You’re putting out videos faster than I can ask the questions 😂 You already floored me with the shield surfing glitch… I’ve gone from 5 cell bars to 5 1/2 full batteries since this morning…
A couple thoughts i had while watching: The Gleeok battles, and getting to them, are really pretty simple. You dont need to use rocket shields, they are surrounded by pillar-like structures that you can quickly climb and jump off of. You also dont even need to use bullet-time bc you can also use keese eyeballs to automatically hit the Gleeoks eyes (you can do this with any boss for critical hits, they actually made the game too easy in this regard). Once the Gleeok was down, I was suprised you were attacking it one hit at a time with a two-handed weapon, instead of using a charge attack which deals so much more DPS. Getting to the Gleeoks: For the one in Gerudo, you can just pop out of the Gerudo Highlands tower and glide there. For Hebra, you can warp to the water temple, bounce off some of those boat trampolines to get higher, and glide there. For the one in the southeast corner, I warped to Evertide island, ascended up from the shrine and/or lightroot, and used materials in the enemy camp to build a platform with fans, then just flew straight upwards. Lastly, I thought it was funny that you showed how to get the ones on the "dragon" sky islands prior to clearing up the storm, when there's no need for more than 16 Sage's Wills prior to that. Thanks! I had all but 5 Sage’s wills and was putting off getting those last 5 because last week the King Gleeok above Eventide kicked my butt. It turns out that 2 of the last 5 wills I still needed were where the KGs were guarding them, including the one that whupped my arse. After watching this video I followed your method and beat both those KGs today 🤗 Then the other 3 wills were on islands that I had marked that I had gotten them, but I actually hadn’t.
On #14 you can use a x3 lynel bow and fuse dazzle fruit to shoot the light thing a few times, it’ll open. Definitely a lot faster than building a mirror contraption!
So, I’ve only ever played a link to the past. It’s just a core memory for me, and I never wanted to play another Zelda game. Watching you post all these videos kinda made me hyped for this game, so I just started Breath of the Wild. Wish me luck, and hopefully I’ll meet u back here soon for tears of the kingdom lol 🎉
I have a tip that might be useful for gleeok hunting ,place a spring in the area your fighting the gleeok in way more efficient that a bunch of rockets
I was missing one, yet had them all marked as completed in my iPad app. Fortunately, I knew I had done all the Gleeok recently…only had to double-check up to number 9, BINGO!!! Thanks so much for these walkthroughs and tutorials. Built myself some powerful weapons, have many Lynel bows and a few rocket shields…my Link is a weapon of mass destruction!!!
For those who don't have much battery life, but have enough zonai parts. Put a fan on a cart or sled, and balloon and control stick. Wood/flint in the balloon. (Stick in front, balloon in middle, stick in back.) Place this on a glider and a flame emiter pointed at the balloon, but so it won't light the wood. When the glider is flashing and about to despawn, light the wood and you can fly the cart further a good bit after the wing despawns.

So I followed the video (great btw) and on last one I seemed to be missing one and after a week of watching over and retracing my steps I figured out it was number 3 smh, I was so ready to get this part over with! Keep making great vids
I did discover for number 14 that if you wait until the sunsets, it shines right where you need to be and all you need is a mirror to reflect light into it

The instructions u gave on dragon isle and thunder Isle was SOOOO precise I would want to be on a blindfolded team with u on survivor and u navigate 😂😂😂😂😂 cause I couldn't see nothing but still managed to get it with your instructions.. (location on land then compared to air.. genius)

I lucked out on sages will 14, and the sun was shining from the west (just before sunset), and I was able to use one mirror and ultrahand to light up the device... I thought I was screwed after I dropped Austin's creation off the cliff and couldn't use recall on it lol
It's my first Zelda game and really poorly atm so I'm not great at problem solving or concentrating atm, only just cleared my 3rd great fairy for armour upgrades but have gotten into the habit of gliding to sky islands when I shoot up in each area to map the area. Ended up with a flux construct iii this morning, panicked, ran up the arm when it hit the ground, opened the chest, took the sages will and teleported home without fighting 😆
I'm bummed to learn that these only effects damage. I was hoping Link could use Tulin's ability more often with these.

Fighting it was the easiest part of that journey for me. Took me almost an hour to get there.

I started a guide when i was missing 6. Found 5 (including all 3 deathstar) but still missing 1. I've gone over it twice now lol.
As a note, the refinery at lookout is available as soon as you jump off the starting island.

Has anyone tried splashfruit against the thunder head? Is it possible to short circuit electric enemies with water?

Also eyeballs and fins make the range difference, and a zonaite bow can hit them for sure

I totally did thunderhead isles earlier than it was intended. Not only did I have to deal with the lightning, I found the 5th dungeon way early

For king gleeok use fire and ice fruit to get rid of the opposite heads quickly. There are also a few pillars you can use ascend on around the arena, If you can't prevent it from doing its final attack go as high as you can and spam arrows with eyes attached to them.
Someone made a "laser power washer" to deal with the one on the bridge

Heads up: if you kill a construct miniboss and he doesn’t drop a chest (because you used bombs and the explosions knocked the chests over), teleport out and come back. The chest should respawn on the plateau.

Check The sky island above lake Hylia. It’s a flux construct level 3 that’s guarding a sage’s will.

This is very helpful. Thank you. The sage abilities are a bit annoying in comparison to the champion abilities from BOTW. Having to run up to a sage to use the ability isn’t as user friendly as assigning the ability to a pre-existing input. I usually have only Tulin and Yunobo out and the rest are out of the way. With all that said, as someone who doesn’t have all the amiibos it would be awesome to have a guide for finding all the treasure maps. I appreciate the work you put into making these videos.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but you can also just pull the treasure chest off of flux constructs if you are in a hurry or don't want to battle them

I don’t think this helps much but if your looking for fire proof lizards you can go to Timawak shrine. Right behind the shrine a trail has like 5-6 spawning there every so often. Before getting on that trail go to the fork. Then head down

Btw with the geelokz final phase they fly up so high that if you stun them to fall they take fall damage and can die from that alone! I helped my sibling take out the lake hylia geelok and it had 1/4 or 1/3 a health bar left and i used the updraft to get up and hit its eyes then i rushed down to finish it then buckled over laughing seeing the health bar drop to zero instantly XD it felt sooo goood after 8 tries trying to beat it
Btw geeloks cant drown o.o their too fat/tall to die in water even when stunned out the sky they just float
16:00 Nothing near that fancy needed. Just grab the door with ultrahand. Hold it up for 10 seconds or so. Drop it, use recall on the door, grab the chest. Boom, done.

For the first one, instead of gliding over, you can just recall the falling ruins, which is wha I did while doing the goron quest.

a different way to do number 14 is to wait till about 6:00 or a bit earlier the sun hits the edge of the chest platform so just point one mirror forward and the second one towards the light switch using ultra hand.
Thank you so much, Austin, for this awesome video! The rocket shield at the last part against the King Gleeock made the fight so much easier. The first time I fought i burned through an unbelievable amount of resources to kill it.
For the Gleeok, I HIGHLY recommend eyeball attachments (fire keese especially, as they do AOE and can damage multiple heads at once), as they auto track, and for some odd reason, they LOVE to guide your arrows right to enemy weakspots, even if you aim nowhere near the weakspots

The part with the draining of the water, I just used Recall on the drain wall and easily grabbed the chest,. The part with the sun light switch, I summoned a mirror and used Ultrahand to bring it out into the sunlight without the use of the platforms, same results.
Believe it or not I’ve been to the first island but I *skipped* it somehow AND it was the last one I needed! (Hence me watch this video. 🤣😂 Thanks for the help, but I basically watched your video twice because of my minor error.
I have a really good weapon build to defeat the king gleeoks way faster than normal if you are later in the game and have done the floating labyrinths as well as the zora dungeon. Minor spoilers ahead, so don't continue reading unless you already have everything for the build: once you have sidon as the sage of water as well as a lightscale trident, make sure you have the evil spirit armor on to get your 1.8x damage through bone proficiency. Then all you have to do is fuse a molduga jaw. when you knock down the king gleeok activate sidon's ability to double the damage of the trident to 108 damage, which is also boosted by 1.8x, but the game doesn't tell you this. Good luck to any gleeok hunters and perfectionists alike!

You already floored me with the shield surfing glitch… I’ve gone from 5 cell bars to 5 1/2 full batteries since this morning…
A couple thoughts i had while watching:
The Gleeok battles, and getting to them, are really pretty simple. You dont need to use rocket shields, they are surrounded by pillar-like structures that you can quickly climb and jump off of.
You also dont even need to use bullet-time bc you can also use keese eyeballs to automatically hit the Gleeoks eyes (you can do this with any boss for critical hits, they actually made the game too easy in this regard).
Once the Gleeok was down, I was suprised you were attacking it one hit at a time with a two-handed weapon, instead of using a charge attack which deals so much more DPS.
Getting to the Gleeoks:
For the one in Gerudo, you can just pop out of the Gerudo Highlands tower and glide there.
For Hebra, you can warp to the water temple, bounce off some of those boat trampolines to get higher, and glide there.
For the one in the southeast corner, I warped to Evertide island, ascended up from the shrine and/or lightroot, and used materials in the enemy camp to build a platform with fans, then just flew straight upwards.
Lastly, I thought it was funny that you showed how to get the ones on the "dragon" sky islands prior to clearing up the storm, when there's no need for more than 16 Sage's Wills prior to that.

Thanks! I had all but 5 Sage’s wills and was putting off getting those last 5 because last week the King Gleeok above Eventide kicked my butt. It turns out that 2 of the last 5 wills I still needed were where the KGs were guarding them, including the one that whupped my arse. After watching this video I followed your method and beat both those KGs today 🤗
Then the other 3 wills were on islands that I had marked that I had gotten them, but I actually hadn’t.
On #14 you can use a x3 lynel bow and fuse dazzle fruit to shoot the light thing a few times, it’ll open. Definitely a lot faster than building a mirror contraption!
So, I’ve only ever played a link to the past. It’s just a core memory for me, and I never wanted to play another Zelda game. Watching you post all these videos kinda made me hyped for this game, so I just started Breath of the Wild. Wish me luck, and hopefully I’ll meet u back here soon for tears of the kingdom lol 🎉
Austin for the gleeoks i really recommend keese eyeballs they have a homing effect so you can shoot the head WITH DOGWATER AIM and still hit ur shots😅
I have a tip that might be useful for gleeok hunting ,place a spring in the area your fighting the gleeok in way more efficient that a bunch of rockets

I was missing one, yet had them all marked as completed in my iPad app. Fortunately, I knew I had done all the Gleeok recently…only had to double-check up to number 9, BINGO!!! For those who don't have much battery life, but have enough zonai parts. Put a fan on a cart or sled, and balloon and control stick. Wood/flint in the balloon. (Stick in front, balloon in middle, stick in back.) Place this on a glider and a flame emiter pointed at the balloon, but so it won't light the wood. When the glider is flashing and about to despawn, light the wood and you can fly the cart further a good bit after the wing despawns.

For Sage Will #14, you can also just throw/shoot a bunch of the glowy fruits at the sensor. That'll unlock it as well.

I lucked out on sages will 14, and the sun was shining from the west (just before sunset), and I was able to use one mirror and ultrahand to light up the device... I thought I was screwed after I dropped Austin's creation off the cliff and couldn't use recall on it lol
Came here to find the last two I was missing, they turned out to be numbers 1 and 9. Proud of myself for finding all the others without any help!
It's my first Zelda game and really poorly atm so I'm not great at problem solving or concentrating atm, only just cleared my 3rd great fairy for armour upgrades but have gotten into the habit of gliding to sky islands when I shoot up in each area to map the area. Ended up with a flux construct iii this morning, panicked, ran up the arm when it hit the ground, opened the chest, took the sages will and teleported home without fighting 😆
