I always pack a shower cap a bit neater than the Tesco bag. interesting how a hundred is classified I always thought a hundred is 100 miles no stops. surely 100 miles with two stops is 3 x 33 miles rides .... just asking 🙂

Amazing effort guys and for charity so very well done😊I'm glad the weather cleared up for you, it makes it so much more enjoyable! I had a nice 100 miler last Saturday in perfect weather which is very unusual for Scotland😉I'm hoping to do another this Thursday, it will be a very scenic ride so I'm looking forward to it👍

Yeah, that‘s one of the advantages we‘ve got here in the rest of Europe: Metric system. 100 km is a lot shorter than 100 miles. 😂🎉😅 😉 😇
Fantastic ride!! 🎉 I‘ve basically just started to take up cycling and I went for my first 100 km ride last weekend, but I was very slow. That‘s the reason I am not even trying to look for a group: I‘m just too slow…
So, really impressed by your stats! Always seems like a lot of fun and I almost get the urge to travel to the UK for a cycling adventure! 😊

6:03 You do drink Chai Latte.
Just plant your mint somewhere in the garden where it gets a bit of sun (I know, very difficult in the UK this year 🤣) and you can go and pick some fresh mint whenever you need it. And don't worry, it will not take over your garden while you look the other way. In fact, once it is established it will grow the best if you cut it right back every autumn, and you will get lovely fresh shoots in the spring.

Meant to comment on your first aid pack for your ride from Italy. The bag is good but I find it contains lots of things you don't need, like the tri bandage. I'd check what you need in emergency (antiseptic wipes and cream, plasters, compeed, small scissors and tweezers, stretch bandage ... you'll figure it out).

They definitely needed more light, but I think we are several years too late for sunlight to be of use. Hopefully future plants will be placed in/near a window *AND watered*!

What a great video! Very entertaining. However riding in series side by side on narrow roads slows down road traffic. Therefore it might agitate drivers which may cause road rage or accidents. Both outcomes are undesirable.
