      Throughout history there has always been a bad seed in the royal family. They need to take the attention off of the "good" boy and put all the attention on the "bad" boy. I think people should leave them alone. If she is really a narcissist, it will make her nuts. Stop putting her face in the media and no one will care.

      She's your standard greedy, envious climber who uses people until they're no longer a useful stepping stone to where she wants to be. Is that narcissistic? Evil? Downright psychotic? I vote all of the above. She worships money & desires subjects that cater to her ego. What a pathetic way to waste the 1 life we are each given.

    Fascinated that Markle never seems to reflect on her bad behavior. She makes the same mistakes repeatedly, but never changes so she must not regret any of her behavior. I guess that explains the emptiness in her soul & her narcissism.

    I think a really great comparison to make is between Meghan Markle and the late singer/songwriter George Michael. George absolutely hated celebrities who used charity to bolster their celebrity status. He even wrote a song where he says "charity is a coat you wear twice a year". We all knew that George supported charities. When the late Princess Diana asked George to headline a concert called the Concert of Hope for her AIDS charity George said yes immediately. He also was one of the artist who performed at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert. It is consider one of his best performances of all time. Unlike all the other artist it was important to George that he actually pay tribute to his friend and an icon of his since his childhood. He practiced with the remaining band members of Queen for a full week ahead of the concert where others artist showed up the day before and practiced with the band one time. When George passed all of the charities and individuals he helped started coming out of the woodwork to tell their story. His generosity was truly staggering. From donating all the proceeds of many of his top hits to charity to giving a waitress a $5,000 tip when he overheard her complain about student debt. He did all of these things on the condition that it would be done anonymously. George felt it should not be about him but about the people he was trying to help. For Meghan, it is the absolute opposite. She would do nothing for charity if she wasn't being credited for doing so or actually being paid for doing so. As H. G. said, she has no self-awareness of how bad this makes her look. She will throw out that she is going to do something charitable and the immediate attention she gets just by making the announcement is often enough for her. She needn't put herself out further. I made this comparison on my own and then one day heard H.G make the comparison himself. I was blown away and so happy that someone was able to make this comparison of a truly charitable kind-hearted person to one who is most definitely not.

      Nice story. True generosity seems very rare in that realm. Seems like they only do charity for image or because they mistakenly feel it balances out the heinous greed & other hidden horrific deeds they perpetrate that is unfortunately much more the norm. I know Robin Williams used to insist that homeless people be hired as crew for his films. I guess H-wood really has become a squirming, slimy cesspit of cowardice, narcissism, body dysmorphia, virtue signaling hypocrisies & hive mind when it used to have more glamour & class. Or it seemed that way in between cheating scandals & closeted stars in lavender marriages. I guess really to survive either the film world or the music industry, especially at those upper echelons, you really do have to kill your own heart & sell your soul. It’s all ego, deception, cutthroat mind games, toxic drama & hubris. Sad, really. Glad to hear there are still a few occasional exceptions with some sense of genuine compassion or genuine integrity/generosity. Again…very rare.

    The first time I listened to anything by Meghan Markle was when Observe was doing a body language read of her on the Oprah interview. The thing that struck me was that she never referred to Harry by name. It was always 'my husband'. I felt like she was telling Oprah that the limelight had to be on her at all times and when it couldn't be on her directly there was this reminder that he was there as an extension of her. I knew then that she was clearly self-absorbed.

    • @RH-nj2uy
      @RH-nj2uy ปีที่แล้ว +54

      I think that in always referring to "my husband", Markle was trolling the Queen. The Queen was well known for introducing speeches with "my husband and I" and I think Markle seized on that expression to emulate and ridicule the Queen who she has always considered herself superior to. Very noticeable too that Markle hardly ever referred to the Queen as "Queen" or "Your Majesty" when talking about her, but merely as "your grandmother". That was Markle's way of disrespecting and demeaning the Queen and effectively saying she was nothing more than Harry's grandmother to her.

      HG has talked about this difference in one of his videos. Basically we all have self interest, but a narcissist wants control. We could take the same course of action but we do it for different reasons; e.g. we may feel a certain way or have certain principles, whereas a narcissist is upset because their target is not obeying them.

    What I find utterly fascinating, is that HG's voice, opinions, intelligence & humour are highly attractive, however I find myself continuing to be attracted to those things in spite of his admitted narcissistic, psychopathic personality. How bizarre that I'm willing to ignore that to some extent & put that very real danger (emotional, I'm not suggesting physical) to one side, just to forfill some type of bizarre fantasy in my mind where by I'm totally taken in without even knowing what the man looks like, but certainly knowing what the man could be capable of. This makes me understand why a lot of people fall for narcissists. The charisma of someone can be incredibly alluring & we are willing to ignore huge red flags at what could be huge personal cost. I'm beyond intrigued though by this & guess that much of his audience feel the same way? Along with the interesting subject matter it's definitely part of the reason I keep going back to watch more.

      @@ab-hs3ou I have to disagree that HG has the ability for any empathy at all as a narcissistic psychopath. He certainly understands empathy on an intellectual level though that's very clear & so I presume he sees the benefit in giving us all this info & sharing his knowledge, but it's obviously only for self serving perposes, which I don't have an issue with seeing as most of us have our own reasons for the professions we embark on, as the ability to gain income & enjoy our lives. If you listen to him often you'll hear HG say that his legacy is of the upmost importance to him & if he can help people along the way then great, but that's not an empathetic position or reason, but more a means to an end; his forever legacy. • @ariag.8745
      @ariag.8745 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @Mel Star: not to be presumptuous but that may be a flag in and of itself. If you observe a narcissist and see what you think are bits and pieces of empathy you've already missed the boat. I have met so many narcissist who seem incredibly kind and sweet and would give you the shirt off their back and they're doing it for one reason and one reason only, to get attention and to secure supply. I've also heard therapist say that the narcissist will actually do altruistic things not for the people that they're doing it for but actually just to feel better about themselves. After realizing that I have been attracted to narcissists for decades it finally occurred to me that playing off my own insecurity I would be attracted to men who as I put it "looked really good on paper" meaning highly accomplished men. But it finally occurred to me that these are the men, in my opinion, to avoid or at least observe carefully because generally speaking it takes great confidence (or for the narc, a really big ego) to become a doctor, a lawyer, a military or commercial pilot, the CEO of a company, a high powered investor, etc. You will find narcissists in big supply in these types of professions particularly in the political arena. I actually find HGT repugnant and particularly offensive with his misogyny. I remember when he was doing the full reading and commentary of Revenge by Tom Bower, at some point, I just had to quit listening because the personal vitriol that he was spewing towards Meghan Markle, I found to be very distasteful. Even though I'm not a Markle fan I found his personal commentary to often devolve into really crass comments. Andrew even highlights in this interview HGT's obvious disdain which is palpable and obvious. That said I do find his commentary on narcissism fascinating but you sure wouldn't want to date this guy!

We don’t play in the South, & they really don’t play in Texas. As horrible as she is, I was blown away that she did that. Who thinks, “Yeah. Lots of children were murdered. Andrew you are such a nice guy. I’m astounded how well you and hg Tudor get on. One of your videos made me go check him out again because at an earlier time I was still angry and hateful and I found him intolerable. You don’t cow down to him (is that how that is spelled), you’re not afraid to bring up astute points that may trigger him. But of course you approach it very intelligently and kindly. And he even seems to like you. Hg Tudor does make me laugh out loud at times and I feel dirtier for it. Haha. Anyway enjoy your interviews with him. And Tudor has taught me a lot. An ex who is a narcissist and now a daughter. I do wish people who cover narcissism would talk about children who are narcissists. I have two children and taught for 20 years. Yes, I know childhood goes hand in hand with being narcissistic. But looking back with my daughter there were differences and now it’s so obvious. Nobody will talk about this - pre Narccissistic personality disorder in children. It would help parents who just don’t see it for what it is.

      That's a good point!!
      If you see video clips of Harry's wife as a child, she was definitely a red flag even then. That fishing trip was weird, where she was kind of repeating a mantra about going fishing, rather than actually being genuinely happy. It's like she knew that that would "warm daddy's heart" so that's what she did.
      Also, many young girls have fantasies about "being a princess", but none will pursue it as Literally as what Harry's wife has! She is Ruthless in going after what she wants.
      Also, that teenaged crazy eyed look when she said "Daddy, I got an English award!" Too weird.
      I believe that Dorias own Narcissistic and neglectful parenting style, together with Thomas's over indulging one, has served to foster that Narcissism in her.

She just doesn't hit all the marks for oppositional defiance disorder, so I'm not sold. No one really is looking at narcissism in kids. I guess because they don't diagnose things Iike that until adulthood but they need to rethink that.

She couldn't even have a credit card in her name. That's just a few of the things that changed over the years. I say hurray to those strident/wealthy women who worked hard to change things for all of us. There is still work to do.

      @@shadesofgray5476 You’re both correct. When I was born, women couldn’t get a credit card or bank account without their husband’s or father’s permission. Feminists are busy now fighting for men who believe they’re women to take opportunities, college scholarships, & jobs away from girls & women; they’re literally trying to undo Title IX, which is one of their very few good accomplishments. They’ve done nothing for decades except pimp for Planned Parenthood & Big Pharma Fertility. Until #MeToo, the only times they care about women being sexually harassed or raped has been when a conservative is about to be appointed to the Supreme Court & put Roe v Wade in danger & then suddenly every candidate is a rapist. I’m thankful for my right to vote, have my own bank account, etc ., but I also wish we had things that feminists helped to get rid of like families being about to afford life on one salary at least for the first several years of kids lives, I wish boys & men would treat us with respect & open the door, etc., & more than anything I wish they hadn’t pushed casual sex to the point where children have to have multiple sexual partners if they want to have friends in school. Feminists are wrong about the basic fact that men & women are not the same. We are different, but are both of the highest value; any society that’s missing one gender turns into a hell on earth. Feminists, for all their “girl power”, are the biggest women-hating misogynists because they decided that women aren’t good enough the way we are & that we have to act like men & not even like good men the sleaziest, greediest, most selfish version of men.

He was described as an angry young narc/sociopath man. When he hooked up with Yoko Ono he went thru' rough patches & anorexia, habitual drugged up. John (like Marvin Gaye exile in Belgium/Bob Marley exiled in Brit UK) exiled in New York, took 5yrs out of public, stopped protesting, stopped touring, stopped promotions, went cold turkey off drugs, stopped nterviews, became a house husband, a stay @ home father, became peaceful, semi retired, private travelling. He became a renaissance man. Then he wrote new music, released new stuff, got healthy, free from his demons/past, ready 2 go public ...... We know how it all ended, tragically when he was @ his most peaceful state of mind. He left behind a legacy of good works & is a legend. I was gratified to hear HGT identify Charles as a narcissist because I have suspected it for years. We can see how disastrous then it was for the extremely emotionally needy empath, Diana, to couple then with the exact opposite of what she was hoping for: a loving, caring man who would really be there for her emotionally. Instead she got man child who really didn't care about her at all and really just used her as a tool in the moving forward of what was expected of him. It must have just been incredibly devastating for her. For anyone who's ever had a relationship with a narcissist in a close intimate way it's absolutely devastating. So it's certainly gives insight to how difficult those initial years must have been for her....well for all the time she was with Charles!

      Diana wasn’t perfect either. Simply labelling Charles a narcissist doesn’t excuse Diana’s behaviour’s towards him and other members of the Royal family.
      She was happy with the status Charles gave her as the Princess of Wales. She had numerous affairs. Yet Charles still gave her a very generous divorce settlement. Plus the fact he continued to pay for her security. That stopped shortly before the Martin Bashir interview.
      Diana’s paranoia caused her to dismiss palace security.

    My aunt, as a young woman in 1960’s London, worked at one of the big brand hairdressers. One time, she cut the young Prince Charles’ hair. She said that he was basically a little entitled sh1t and she refused to deal with him a second time.

    💯. Just ignore them. Who is she? They say she was an actress. Never heard of her like Julia Roberts or Jennifer Garner until she married this prince and now she's all over? Whatever happened to their "privacy"? I'm astounded.

    Andrew & HG Tudor are good together. Very humorous debate going on. Laughed every time Andrew cracked a joke, and HG Tudor took time to react. It seemed like he was thinking, 'Hey, was that a joke ? Um, time to laugh'. Brilliant 👏

No, you are so far removed from one that never the Twain shall meet. You are a brilliant interviewer because of your empathy, really😀.

    • @MarkmanOTW
      @MarkmanOTW ปีที่แล้ว +18

      It was her 'love-bombing of Harry' that made him her advocate - that's what narcs do. William and the Queen erred in caution, but Harry didn't take it onboard. Remember, he had 2 long standing girlfriends who decided against 'royal life' so was desperate to find someone who wanted it. Meghan has always wanted it, being obsessed with Princess Diana, she moved on Harry (even wearing the same perfume as his Mum). It was a pure opportunistic manipulation of Harry by someone who saw herself as the new Princess Diana. That's why she's so jealous of Kate, occupying the role she believes is hers.

      @@MarkmanOTW Remember when William advised H to take his time with Meg . His brother said he was being racist with that remark so I guess the race card was constantly played to clear all obstacles !

    • @MarkmanOTW
      @MarkmanOTW ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@ninjacat4929 Yes, I do remember that. Funnily enough, when I first learnt of MM and watched their 'engagement interview' in 2017, I saw so many red flags and concluded she was a narcissist. I was able to do this as I had been learning about and studying intently 'narcissism' that year as part of my recovery, having excited a relationship with a narcissist (very confused about what had happened) only the previous year. I predicted troublesome times ahead before 'the tide turned', while many were still taken in. Subsequent appearances and events only reinforced this even up to their wedding.

    Naturally being a narcissist, Tudor knows the exact behavior and nature of a narcissist. I like the use of the term "prime aims". What is baffling is how Tudor is self-aware. I wouldn't know the stats on how many narcs, diagnosed or not, truly believe or understand their disorder. I only know of one other, Sam Vaknin , who has written books and given lectures on the topic, which again is baffling because clearly both Tudor and Vaknin do so for opportunistic and ego driven reasons, rather than to be helpful and informative one would think. It's such a mind f**k dealing with those who have a Cluster B personality disorder and as someone who was married to one for 22 years (he had myriad co-morbid mental illnesses) it can cause all manner of damage...physical and emotional.

    Narcissist, sociopath psychopath, and other words which are truly psychological diagnosis are so over used now! Selfish or attention seeking, or good old self absorbed are not necessarily synonymous with one who is truly a psychopath or sociopath! And Andrew I'm not picking apart this video! I think you're brilliant! I'm speaking in generalities with so many true crime creator's calling the Villan in every case a narcissist!
