As an African I find it very interesting how MM is all about being a “black” woman but, none of her friends are black well up until she became famous. So I’m wondering if she really and truly embraced her blackness before it became convenient for her? Why didn’t she have any black friends speaking in this docuseries? As a white woman it took me ages to understand she was mixed race. I had no idea and it didn't matter. I have cousins that are mixed race and their race doesn't affect my relationship with them.

Ok… this is the whole true story everyone is waiting for. Megan thought being a royal meant servants doing everything, living in luxury, being bowed to, and she truly believed she could use the fact she was black to break all the rules by threatening to use the race card. She also found out there was a lot of work involved in being a public servant. She didn’t like anyone expecting her to follow the rules. As an American, I refuse to watch the “documentary” on Netflix. I am not alone in my disdain for these two attention seekers who have to “create content” in an effort to be relevant. The fact that they are willing to air their family’s dirty laundry on a global stage is an indication of what type of people they are, their values and lack of respect for the RF. Like many Americans, I feel they have had more media coverage than one should have in a lifetime.

You know it's not that I have no empathy for someone being part of a family that's very strict, and that came with major downsides like constant media attention and scrutiny, but my empathy vanishes when you constantly whine about it as though you were born into the worst life possible. It's just not the case. But Harry seems so far removed from reality and the struggles of normal people that he thinks his suffering is worse than anyone else's. And most people don't want to hear a prince and princess complain about how hard they have it. It's beyond unrelatable. I think he's referring to before he met Markle mate, when every girlfriend he had, ended up on the front page's, which would be difficult for anyone in fairness. As for being a whinging jerk, he definitely is that, although I think Markle has played her hand at conditioning his behaviour. Oh I couldn't agree more, demanding privacy whilst securing a Netflix deal worth $100m, whereby a camera will follow and document their privileged lives. What I find bizarre is how they loathe the very institution that provides them with publicity, a platform and financial freedom. That's like a child saying he hates Santa-claus, although he's 😉 just delivered a mountain of gifts. It doesn't make sense really does it. Markle doesn't dislike the press at all, she seeks them out and has been known to inform them, "anonymously" that Harry and Herself, are going to be at a specific location at a specific time. You don't alert them to your potential whereabouts, if you're essentially trying to avoid them at all cost. Now there's a word, "COST" - now that's more aligned with Megan's psyche, how much money will it cost the media for a photo op, how much will they pay her, does being photographed benefit her financially, if not then she hates the press, but if they fulfill her God complex and pay her vast amounts of money, then they can film her all day long. I don't think Harry cares too much for the press or cash, in fact I feel he's more tagging along and following Megan's orders. Harry comes from one of the wealthiest families on the planet, so it's probably more about attention seeking and an axe to grind than financial gain. Megan however, it's all about fame, money, power, and getting the last word in, no matter how dishonest she has to be, and with no regard for her she hurts along the way.
As an acting teacher, I can spot acting no matter how good it is, and this isn't good. I also know when someone has been coached to mix truth with fiction, which is a technique actors use to prep for roles. In this case. I can see the moments when a few truthful words are sprinkled in, and then the lies resume. It's pathetic. And sick.
Also the way she tries to tilt her head down and "pause" for emphasis. She overdoes it and you can tell it's on cue for her. It's a terrible attempt to try to seem like she's just talking frankly.

If a person has been still, if they become animated suddenly, one of those is likely fake. Big generalization, but it usually applies. The other thing I admonish students about is going into what I call "monologue mode." Students and other unskilled actors will get a glazed, far-off look and launch into a monologue in a flat voice. This is because they're planning on building up to something, so they're starting low to finish high. TV actors like Megan are also taught to hold the head still because of the camera frame. Some acting techniques (that I don't teach) require the actor to literally think about something other than what they're saying. Splitting attention and striving to sound "realistic" creates that weird, glazed look and flat voice. Megan does it constantly here. It's poor acting. No one who is speaking knows ahead of time that they're not going to be interrupted until they're done, so their speech is interactive, even if no one talks back. Notice Megan's face is dead flat when she speaks, because she's not taking in any visual cues. She knows nothing is coming back, because these are rehearsed monologues she's doing. When Harry speaks here, he talks a lot, but you can tell he's actually speaking TO someone and gauging how it's landing, as people do in real life. I could go on for hours on this topic. But you can see it if you know what to look for.

One of them is that Narcs tend to switch between their "emotional states" on a dime, but then also hold those states too long. An actual person who's upset has ups and downs in their demeanor: crescendos and descrescendos. Narcs overdo it by holding the fake emotion/body language too long, then switch it on a dime instead of bringing real anger or hurt down/up slowly. It's like going 0-60 to 100% output and then shifting gears immediately. It's not natural and you can sense it's fake.

Why does the world forget the hundreds of children who have lost a parent under much worse conditions than Harry. Some have actually seen a father kill their mother in a rage. Some have seen their mother brutally raped and killed in war. Some have watched their mother die a long and painful death due to disease. Many of these had to be seen in public at funerals, testifying at a trial, or shuffled off to foster care and expected to adjust. To me Harry is unbelievably self-centered resulting from a lack of parenting by his family. He needed serious grief therapy, drug rehab, designated responsibility, and tutoring at school. Instead there were coverups including in the military. Keeping Harry protected and letting him fly safe missions endangered the real soldiers but boosted a false sense of accomplishment. While Andrew is arrogant and unpleasant he really put his life on the line in the Faulkins and never lied or publicly tried to put the blame on his family for his mistakes. He made terrible decisions and has paid the price. Note Virginia D was 17 years old and not considered a minor legally. She was also a procurer of younger girls before allegedly meeting Andrew. Never heard about Andrew getting a young girl drunk and taking her behind a pub to use. Did Harry check the ages of the girls in Vegas when playing strip poker drunk? This is not to support Andrew's decisions, but to say that I am SICK AND TIRED of people making excuses for Harry's abominable behavior and I believe it is time for King Charles to show leadership and put the welfare of the Commonwealth ahead of being a daddy. William and Katherine have earned the support of Charles. AND I want my government to treat Harry like everyone else (as he claims to want) and revoke his green card as he admittedly breaks our drug laws and is not paying taxes. When she discovered that she had to work at being a royal she decided then that she would leave the country before the marriage. One has to admire her deviousness . Harry was played like a violin. Meghan was obstructive, found invading private royal rooms and photographed them, she refused to meet with the Queen on two occasions, the Queen decided a line had to be drawn after giving Meghan lots of time to adjust and fit in. When the Queen sent Meghan away, she had her picked up, driven to the airport, escorted by Edward and Sophie, an aide was taken to Frogmore and her belongings were removed and put on a plane. This all came out eventually. Lots went on that remain hidden to preserve the royals.
Ooh, do you know where I can find more info about this and/or other similar situations? I'm obviously in the States, so I haven't heard a lot of what went on behind the scenes. I've never liked her though. She always seemed like a manipulator and someone who wanted everything HER way. As an American, I'm angry that she acted like that and made such a spectacle of herself. Chase hits the nail on the head for me when he said Harry is forcing the lens…I.e. I am doing this because she did it, meaning his mother. In fact this whole series is about that…it is their justification for leaving and taking revenge on those that wrote books about them for which they can’t sue in court since they will lose. However, when you overlay the facts of their real situation compared to his mother’s they are night and day. Diana may have been hounded by the press…..but H&M haven’t been…there aren’t any real footage of them being hounded (used stock footage from other people and events) especially since things absolutely changed with the press right after she died. So this line of reasoning combined with all the other spaghetti that they throw at the fridge in the entire series, is an attempt that something is bound to stick with the audience (is it the institution? Is it the big bad press? Is it racism? Is it his brother? Is it his father? Is it Brexit????) As I said a mass of spaghetti, and there are a millions things and people at fault here but absolutely no responsibility on their part in the least.

As an African I find it very interesting how MM is all about being a “black” woman but, none of her friends are black well up until she became famous. So I’m wondering if she really and truly embraced her blackness before it became convenient for her? Why didn’t she have any black friends speaking in this docuseries? You know it's not that I have no empathy for someone being part of a family that's very strict, and that came with major downsides like constant media attention and scrutiny, but my empathy vanishes when you constantly whine about it as though you were born into the worst life possible. Oh I couldn't agree more, demanding privacy whilst securing a Netflix deal worth $100m, whereby a camera will follow and document their privileged lives. What I find bizarre is how they loathe the very institution that provides them with publicity, a platform and financial freedom. I don't think Harry cares too much for the press or cash, in fact I feel he's more tagging along and following Megan's orders. Harry comes from one of the wealthiest families on the planet, so it's probably more about attention seeking and an axe to grind than financial gain. Megan however, it's all about fame, money, power, and getting the last word in, no matter how dishonest she has to be, and with no regard for her she hurts along the way.
As an acting teacher, I can spot acting no matter how good it is, and this isn't good. I also know when someone has been coached to mix truth with fiction, which is a technique actors use to prep for roles. In this case. I can see the moments when a few truthful words are sprinkled in, and then the lies resume. It's pathetic. And sick.

If a person has been still, if they become animated suddenly, one of those is likely fake. Big generalization, but it usually applies. The other thing I admonish students about is going into what I call "monologue mode." Students and other unskilled actors will get a glazed, far-off look and launch into a monologue in a flat voice. This is because they're planning on building up to something, so they're starting low to finish high. TV actors like Megan are also taught to hold the head still because of the camera frame. Some acting techniques (that I don't teach) require the actor to literally think about something other than what they're saying. Splitting attention and striving to sound "realistic" creates that weird, glazed look and flat voice. Megan does it constantly here. It's poor acting. No one who is speaking knows ahead of time that they're not going to be interrupted until they're done, so their speech is interactive, even if no one talks back. Notice Megan's face is dead flat when she speaks, because she's not taking in any visual cues. She knows nothing is coming back, because these are rehearsed monologues she's doing. When Harry speaks here, he talks a lot, but you can tell he's actually speaking TO someone and gauging how it's landing, as people do in real life. I could go on for hours on this topic. But you can see it if you know what to look for.

One of them is that Narcs tend to switch between their "emotional states" on a dime, but then also hold those states too long. An actual person who's upset has ups and downs in their demeanor: crescendos and descrescendos. Narcs overdo it by holding the fake emotion/body language too long, then switch it on a dime instead of bringing real anger or hurt down/up slowly. It's like going 0-60 to 100% output and then shifting gears immediately. It's not natural and you can sense it's fake.

To me Harry is unbelievably self-centered resulting from a lack of parenting by his family. He needed serious grief therapy, drug rehab, designated responsibility, and tutoring at school. Instead there were coverups including in the military. Keeping Harry protected and letting him fly safe missions endangered the real soldiers but boosted a false sense of accomplishment. While Andrew is arrogant and unpleasant he really put his life on the line in the Faulkins and never lied or publicly tried to put the blame on his family for his mistakes. He made terrible decisions and has paid the price. Note Virginia D was 17 years old and not considered a minor legally. She was also a procurer of younger girls before allegedly meeting Andrew. Never heard about Andrew getting a young girl drunk and taking her behind a pub to use. Did Harry check the ages of the girls in Vegas when playing strip poker drunk? This is not to support Andrew's decisions, but to say that I am SICK AND TIRED of people making excuses for Harry's abominable behavior and I believe it is time for King Charles to show leadership and put the welfare of the Commonwealth ahead of being a daddy. When the Queen sent Meghan away, she had her picked up, driven to the airport, escorted by Edward and Sophie, an aide was taken to Frogmore and her belongings were removed and put on a plane. This all came out eventually. Lots went on that remain hidden to preserve the royals.

Chase hits the nail on the head for me when he said Harry is forcing the lens…I.e. I am doing this because she did it, meaning his mother. However, when you overlay the facts of their real situation compared to his mother’s they are night and day. Diana may have been hounded by the press…..but H&M haven’t been…there aren’t any real footage of them being hounded (used stock footage from other people and events) especially since things absolutely changed with the press right after she died. So this line of reasoning combined with all the other spaghetti that they throw at the fridge in the entire series, is an attempt that something is bound to stick with the audience (is it the institution? Is it the big bad press? Is it racism? Is it his brother? Is it his father? Is it Brexit????) As I said a mass of spaghetti, and there are a millions things and people at fault here but absolutely no responsibility on their part in the least.

The comment about Diana not fitting is so untrue. She was more of a blue blood than Charles and understood her mission and duty perfectly - unfortunately she was emotionally unsuited and too inexperienced to handle a loveless marriage - but the beautiful thing was she never gave up on serving the UK people, unlike Harry.

Fast. She was a quick learner. However, She could never hide her Depression, Disappointment in Charles to the Public. Telling the Public negative things Charles may have said in Private, between Husband and Wife. She never complimented Charles for anything, which didn't help the bad marriage. At one time there was hope they had found a good common ground and were going to make it. . Media always showed the down side of Diana and Charles.always the best for Diana. Neither Charles or Diana were bad people, they were two people put together for Duty. A huge Disappointment for such a young lady to deal with and in the Public. She was on cloud 10 at marrying a Prince she had always had a crush on and Charles was just there filling his Duty, trying to please his Mother. Both Charles and Diana were disappointed and both had second thoughts before the Wedding, but neither side of their Families would allow them to back out of the Marriage. Charles and Diana found a Respect for each other after the Divorce, became Friends. They forgave each other. People should not be fussing, getting mad at others because their bad arranged marriage failed. They made Peace and The PUBLIC should make Peace over their Life also. Diana was great at what she Did. She definitely had the Love and Hearts of People all around the World. There is only ONE DIANA and will never another like Diana.
HARRY needs to Stop Pretending and Stop living in his Mother's Shadow. Making money off her Memory. Diana couldn't control Harry since her was a toddler. Diana didn't want to ruin or hurt the Royal Family( only Charles for awhile), because she loved William her first Son also, and desired for him to have his Rightful Place in the Monarchy. So, they couldn't be so awful if Diana wanted that for William.
I personally don't understand the jealousy, and hate Harry had for William. Any of my older Brothers and Sisters that do well, I'm happy for them, proud of them. Anyway I could help them, I'd be glade to and not expect or want pay. William and Katherine were happy when William was flying helicopters and living a common life. William chose to give up what he loved doing for the Monarchy, his Duty.
