- BIKE WAS PURCHASED 2016 FOR $1100, IT WAS RIDABLE, BUT DROPPED OUT OF GEAR.
SIMON FARNSWORTH OF WORTH RACE DEVELOPMENTS FULLY REBIULT THE ENGINE, THIS INCLUDED ALL BEARINGS, GEAR BOX REPAIR, AND EXTENSIVE PORTING, A GEOFF MORRIS CONCEPTS EXHAUST WAS THE FINISHING TOUCH.
WHILST THE ENGINE WAS BEING PREPARED, THE REST OF THE BIKE WAS DISMANTLED AND PAINTED AND ALL BEARINGS REPLACED.
SUSPENSION HAD A COMPLETE OVERHAUL.
SEAT COVER REPLACED AND DECALS ADDED.
BIKE IS SET UP FOR DIRT TRACK.
Those are fast and powerful even today and sound perfect.
A dream motocross bike of the 70s
79 was the year everything came together for the little RM 125. It was just perfect!
Raced a RM125C for a season back in 78. Yes it was a hoot after a racing aYZ 80c
Had one of these back in the day, fantastic bike. One of the big problems was the chain jumping off and smashing down on the gear lever shaft and cracking the crankcase, happened to me twice. Would never recommend buying one even though I loved it while it ran
Prety motorcicle
I really want a 78 for vintage racing. I had a 79 as a lad but always liked the 78 better
cool vid, show more details on builds
Nice bike! Im looking to get a geoff morris pipe for my IT 175
Bellaaaaaaaaaa ésa Moto!!!!
How you like that back tire ?
Love those slick pipe welds
Yeah , is a real piece of art, and was definitely worth the investment, Jake and Simon Farnsworth of Worth Race Developments are the master minds behind this engine.
Hydro formed ?
How much difference did the pipe make?
Absolute beauty! Why the trials/enduro rear tire?
Its a TT track not motocross by the look of it, so harder surface?
That would explain the giant rear sprocket too
Disregard previuos comment,I had not made it to the point in the video where your on the flat track.
