@@sharpy3453 yes and no. There is buying limit for items at the gundam base. as a guy who doesn't keep a backlog, usually only buying a kit or two at a time, i do think you at least need a limit for a short period of time after the website is updated, maybe a few days to give everyone a chance to get something.
I am truly surprised that Amy didnt smack you on the back of the head for taking a risk at damaging property, stock or personal injury. 1 per customer is a good way to control inventory and minimize scalpers & bots. But you should also be willing to make exceptions but only for verified customers but only after they give a good reason why they'd want to buy more than 1 at a time. But even in those instances, you should limit it to like maybe 3 per shipment you receive. Some people like to buy multiples of kits to be able to recreate any variants that are included as optional parts with a kit. For example, with the RG GN-0000+GNR-010 00 Raiser you have the option to make GN-0000 00 Gundam , GN-0000+GNR-010 00 Raiser, and also GN-0000RE+GNR-010 00 Raiser GN Condenser Type. So in instances like that, a customer might want to buy 3x. Just something to consider since ultimately it's your business so you decide if it's worth pursuing.
Not a bad example, as well as if a kit has both a Mobile Suit mode and a Mobile Armor mode like the MG Kyrios Gundam or the new MG Eclipse Gundam and the two different display options for the yet to be released MG Virtue Gundam, the Virtue Gundam and the Nadleeh Gundam, while expensive they may want to have the options of displaying both forms together and the last two mentioned are all ready major scalper targets...

Absolutely should be a limit on new or limited stock (P-Bandai, Gundam Base Exclusives, event exclusives, etc). With new releases like the Eclipse, RG Hi-Nu, and Nightingale, 1 per customer is definitely a must, at least for the first month or so IMO. Not just so everyone has a chance to get one, but to hopefully cut down on scammers and scalpers. Win win all around.
I think 1 item per customer sounds fair since it applies to everyone. Say something like 1 per for the first week or two after a restock then roll it back to as many as you wish. This way everyone gets an even chance whenever a restock happens and for those that wished more they can come back after a week when the limit is removed. As to the water damage on the kit I'd think something like 10% of the kit value would be fair considering the damage itself is only cosmetic to the box. And of course you could scale this depending upon the value of the kit or the damage as well. Good on you guys for being up front about it! And that's the big reason why I'm so looking forward to my first order with you guys. You're honest and up front about what you do, the challenges you have, and do your best to do right by your customer base. That's not something that is easy to do and good on you guys for making the effort. The shelf moving thing I'm shocked it even worked; fully expecting the metal shelves to buckle somewhere or worse for product to fall off. I know it probably would've taken WAY longer to do the right way but it also would've been safer to you, your products, and even your furniture. Personally surprised that Amy did not chew you out more than they did.
limits of 1 or maybe 2 would be fine. I only need 1 eclipse and 1 high nu anyway. It would be great if you put up a video or something before you updated the site so we all know when to be sitting at the comp hitting the refresh button. Really enjoy these videos keep up the good work.

That was crazy! Glad to see it worked and nothing got damaged. I agree with the other people that commented, limit of 1 per person on new releases. Once the product has been out for a while then you can increase number of purchase. I also believe you should try and switch to a barcode scanning setup. Makes keeping track of stock alot easier. Keep up the great work Pat and I will cya soon.
Definitely should have a limit on private warehouse orders in the way of length of time before it ships. As for new items it should be more than 1, maybe at the most 5?
A limit of 2 would be that perfect number, as there are those transforming kits you want to display both modes of. Now on how you moved those shelves, having worked with upright steel, go through and check each of the cross beam connections for potentially damaged/sheered pins and check the feet of each upright to make sure they didn't begin to buckle or bend slightly out of shape. You'd be surprised at how small bends and nicks can bring down a whole upright shelving unit once weight is applied.
Ya u guys should add Limits 1 per customer and u should add back order to your web site. Would be soo much better knowing you gonna get the item while it's backorder , would just have to wait till your turn, just charge when item come in and either store as private or ship out right away. Would be like hobby link Japan . I like how they set it up that way, and plus u know what customer wants, and can get more stock on those item.

Hey weird question, I used to basically only buy kits from your store but prices started getting a little out of hand early 2020.. I don't know if I said it last video, but do the hard work now, get some good habits in place, and you won't need to have a weeks-long shutdown again. I would absolutely support a limit of one or two I cant count the times I've tried to get different grunt suits and cant because people have bought 10+
This video is a demonstration of "If it looks stupid, but it works, it isn't stupid." That being said, using a smart car, with no torque, to try and move those shelves... well, it didn't work. So you know :P I like the idea of limiting 1 kit per person. Too many scalpers buying up everything then relisting on ebay or amazon. Hobby is expensive enough already. Oh and Japan is finally opening up world wide shipping again, so hopefully you'll start seeing more stock come in.
Dude take the time you need to get it right, the website will benefit from it. As for limits, I definitely agree for new hot items, maybe not necessarily on kits that are easy to get or good for squad building (for example, HGAC Leo).
i've wanted to get into these but they are so expensive and i have no idea where to start any suggestions guys? i live in the US. are these guys good? just not sure where to start. there prices on some are good it seems but not sure they are gonna be around from what it seems so any info would be appreciated
More businesses purchasing stock from one supplier (Bandai) means there is going to be less to go around. Over the last couple of years a few more Canadian hobby shops have opened up and they're stocking up too. Covid was the perfect disaster scenario is terms of getting a steady supply of kits from Bandai. I'm sure, you're overwhelmed at the moment, but I'm hoping you guys are able to source from more manufactures.... eggs in one basket, that sort of thing. I don't want to see you fail, but it's frustrating seeing a business that was knocking it out of the park a couple of years ago begin to flounder. Hoping it all goes well. Zig when others zag!
Pretty sure Bluefin supplies all the north American model shops. Bandai doesnt deal with shops here directly unless it's their own p bandai store iirc. Edit: meaning there are little to no other suppliers to get from on a large scale and far as bandai products go
It doesn't help when Japan shut down shipping to Canada and other countries, due to container shortages. It was bad enough they shut down air freight, due to reduced flights, but cutting off surface shipping was a total cut off from the supply. They've thankfully resumed surface shipping to Canada and a few other countries so things will hopefully turn around.
Setting a limit for new things is a grand idea. Also, screw the people who are whining about you guys being better before. This is the world of covid. Shipping and logistics are just screwed, I think the majority of people need to relearn how to be patient.
Limits: Definitely yes. From what I have garnered from your videos, you are in this for the builders. Not the resellers. If you need more than three of any one item, I have to question your motives. Are they a retail unit looking to scoop up the latest hot thing? Just how much are they going to be gouging their customers? (If is smells like a scam, it is a scam). Also, do yourself a big favour. Moving forward, you are not a warehouse for people who want to use you to store their back logs. Private Warehouses have a 6 to 9 month shelf limit. After that, the customer gets an email to remind them that the order needs to be shipped. If they are not interested, issue a refund, and relist the stock. (Guaranteed, someone else will buy it). If they still want it, current shipping info is required, and ship it. I spent many years working in retail (Woolco, Walmart, Indigo,...) We did not make money, or gain new customers, by being someone else's warehouse.
Sorry the historical, soul scaring event this video documents really can eclipse the Sun.....what, my sanity joins Mr. Daniels quite often, an aide to my similar storage unit lifestyle.... until I found this channel. I will watch the library out of date/sequence.
i dont buy gundam kits anymore, but companies should limit items for their image. especially if they have a feeling they're returning scalpers. unfortunately its easier to sell a whole pallet of GPU/PS5 to one person than everyone.
I wondered why he didn’t ask from channel to do something so stupid, i know they will say to do it but i hope maybe do a questionnaire and see the results
I feel bad for all these hobby shops everywhere that struggle with the pandemic and scalpers being in the way. Finding good prices kits is difficult now and it would nice if Bandai would at the very least did some reprints. Hopefully shipping companies here in the US get off their can and starting actually working instead of paid leave. Good luck you guys!

So you know :P
I like the idea of limiting 1 kit per person. Too many scalpers buying up everything then relisting on ebay or amazon. Hobby is expensive enough already. Oh and Japan is finally opening up world wide shipping again, so hopefully you'll start seeing more stock come in.
That was bold! hahahaha next time try to put some cardboard or an old tire between the car and the skid so that the skid gets less damage.
hopefully you find a helios in a corner, really want one or 2 of those. which there was an MG of it.
0:41 nice
Limit should definitly be 1 new item per person
Dude take the time you need to get it right, the website will benefit from it. As for limits, I definitely agree for new hot items, maybe not necessarily on kits that are easy to get or good for squad building (for example, HGAC Leo).
I hope there is a limit on all new items. Even know people will get around it somehow
Nobody is perfect expect Queen Amy😍
Also Pat if it look stupid but works it's not stupid at all😅😂
100 per person item limit lol, 30% discount on the burstmode.
Wow that's a lot.. Nice
i've wanted to get into these but they are so expensive and i have no idea where to start any suggestions guys? i live in the US. are these guys good? just not sure where to start. there prices on some are good it seems but not sure they are gonna be around from what it seems so any info would be appreciated

There are canadian p-bandai stores?
It doesn't help when Japan shut down shipping to Canada and other countries, due to container shortages. It was bad enough they shut down air freight, due to reduced flights, but cutting off surface shipping was a total cut off from the supply. They've thankfully resumed surface shipping to Canada and a few other countries so things will hopefully turn around.
@@RayFChung Everything comes from one or two factories in Japan. Bluefin is just a distributor and are prone to Bandai's woes.
Is there a way to be notified when you guys update stock/website? Those RG Hi Nus are calling out to me!
Setting a limit for new things is a grand idea.
Also, screw the people who are whining about you guys being better before. This is the world of covid. Shipping and logistics are just screwed, I think the majority of people need to relearn how to be patient.
When the next re-stock is gonna be ??? Please cause I don’t want to order and the next day all the good kit are finally In stock.
dont suppose anyone knows if they ship to the uk. would love to buy a kit from here
Scalpels are on the loose so definitely get some limits in place :/
Utterly madness. Can't believe it worked. And that you didn't knock over any kits. Any updates on uk shipping?
crazy = genius
Heyy, i know this is out of topic but what is the name of tht mini car pleaseeeee tell me someone🥺
2005 smart car diesel
Damn I want that Zaku 2
PS, thanks for the sticker, got my Saturnix stuff yesterday.
Sorry the historical, soul scaring event this video documents
really can eclipse the Sun.....what, my sanity joins Mr. Daniels
quite often, an aide to my similar storage unit lifestyle....
until I found this channel.
Hopefully I can snag more ibo stuff I don't have if y'all stock more
PUT LIMITS! :D
5% discount on the full burstmode
Before I watch it crushed the front end?
P-Bandai with the restock? :)
Yeah put limits on otherwise scalpers win.
