hiking sugarloaf, again, in pemberton, bc canada

sugarloaf is located in Pemberton bc, about 3rs from Vancouver.
the FSR to the trailhead needs a high clearance Vehicule for some of the water bars.
despite the smoke from the forest fires, the hike still had stunning views. I've been there a few times over the years and i noticed that the trail has grown in popularity. i am not a fan of pets in the backcountry due to widely known and documented damage they cause, so i was saddened to see the area turning into a dog park, including someone carrying a chihuahua. the poor local wildlife already having to suffer the invading presence of humans doesn't stand a chance with all these dogs chasing everything that moves out of their homes. the "leave no trace" rule seems to be lost on some people. I'm almost certain that in a few yrs even the marmots will have fled the area.

The orange foliage is really striking, looks like something out of a movie.
Those narrow rocky mountains are something else, I know for sure I'd fall over with my kind of balance, haha!
Something about this makes me think of old VHS movies, the music, and the cinematography just blends together really well, impressive as usual!
