Water is very nostalgic for me. My dad was in the Navy and I have fond memories of us going to the Navy exchange and seeing the ships docked at port, and visiting the beach in San Diego a few times. We even went to Sea World once or twice. It's incredibly ironic because now I live in Arizona and I never learned how to swim, but I still have some memories of my own from going to parties and everyone is hanging out by the pool. Water, for me, makes me feel cold, but in a strangely good way, like when you take a dip in a jacuzzi at night and when you finally get out, that cold air hits you and you're reminded how good being dry feels.
The picture at 1:40 honestly makes me feel so at peace. I could honestly spend the rest of my life there. The white tile walls, the natural sunlight, and the clear water looks like something from a dream.
Man i just had the craziest dream where i was in a giant pool complex with multiple levels and some of the pools which were already really deeper than necessary had like huge squares in the middle going so deep it was all black and it would transition to other levels in the complex ..? Hard to explain but the pic at 3:33 is kinda similar, except everything in my dream was much, much bigger and the whites were brighter. It's fascinating, liminal spaces are so mysterious.
