This house is an inspiration. I love the traditional architecture. Having seen many Indians going for a modern contemporary homes, its their choice and I dont blame them. But it just feels like the lack taste in aesthetics. Those glass and concrete heavy houses feel so soul less and lacks personality. I see such architecture as a breath of fresh air. Kudos to the owners for embracing the traditional south indian architecture and asking the architects to bring it to life. The architects knocked it out of the park. This house is art. Glad we still have such artists who have taste for traditional aesthetics. They manifested the owner's dream. Despite this not being my home, I felt really happy watching this. Congratulations to the entire team who worked hard on this because it shows that you all did. Hope you keep doing such great work in the future too. Also, thank you buildofy for another great video.

You’ll said that you’ve followed basic Vastu principles. But the Central part of the house which is called the “Brahma Sthan” of the house has a court yard that has a pit or a depressing. The Brahma Sthan should always be elevated not sunken..
We cannot take anything away from you’ll, this is the best & the most inspiring project ever to implement, in fact maximum Vastu principles. Honestly these kind of architecture is what needed in our present time which was forgotten with the advent of urbanisation since 70s & 80s.
Points that should really be appreciated-
    House has a face
    Symmetric design implementation
    Large front entrance door
    Double hinged entrance door
    Wooden doors & windows
No cut corners of the house (All the corners are intact)
House has a centre & is opened to the sky for ventilation & light (the most important Vastu principle)
    Exterior coloured with natural materials
Bore well & Tulsi plant in the Northeast
    Large Portico in the north
Nature friendly & self sustaining home
Interior is light coloured (mostly white) to attract & reflect the light & positive energy.
Nice traditional & meaningful art works
    Very well done..

4:54 it doesn't have to be named Kerala style at all, tulunad style architecture has always been like this for centuries and the famous roof tiles are literally popularised as Mangalore tiles.
Mangaloreans should start reclaiming tulunad style architecture.
