+Vasisht Vasan Yes. Speaking of Don Rickles three days ago he turned 90 years of age, God bless him. I love David Letterman and I miss both his performance on his show, also his rare sense of humor.
Maybe it's because this is my time on Earth and I get to witness these people in time. And spend my time with them in the same era.. But it's absolutely great. And sad too. Because as I get older they all leave and soon,, I will too. Our time on this Earth is very short. And for some people it's been even shorter. But I'm glad to have been here. What a memories to tell someone a Heaven about who had to leave before their time.. And those I will seek as I have left before my time. The circle goes unbroken.
Raj Singh He's saying that they sound like how they did when they were running because they're going out of office and it doesn't matter because they don't need to act on it anymore. The audience was applauding the idea of them running again.
I guess when you quit doing comedy you loose the will to shave? O_O ...it's like counting the rings on a tree... you can tell how long they have been out of work by the thickness of the beard! haha!
If there are three men currently living who make me proud to be American, it's David Letterman, John Stewart, and Barack Obama. Such brilliant minds. These men together made the last decade so much better for me and so many Americans. Bernie Colbert 2020!
Letterman and Stewart. Both class acts that are missed by many. My Mornings watching the recorded shows from the night before just aren't the same quality they were when these men occupied space on my DVR (PVR as we say in Canada....Personal Video Recorder)
I have a DICK and I know how to use it. Just ask my bowlegged and smiling wife. Bet you didn't know that isn't not a podium, did you? Google it, did you?
+master procrastinator you can't be much of a Jon Stewart fan to not know that. You missed one of the BEST political commentators of our time while he was working. Your loss. Everyones loss now that he's retired. Hope he comes back in a simular form to his old show. His unique voice is missed deeply by many
Jon Stewart always was a fan of Dave. And when Dave retired, so did he. And then backstage here Jon met Dave and saw his retirement beard. And I could tell he's like, 'Dave even has to beat me on the retirement beard!' Jesus Christ! That would've been really funny if he said that here
When John greets women he kisses their hands as a (hello MaM.. ),When he got to Mike Obama;it was more like (hey man .... ) with a hug... Clearly he knows and knew for a long time too.
my god!! It's only been a year since letterman retired and stewart left the daily show... why the hell do they look like 20 years had passed in their life? They are so old now!!!
+john branski He's 5'6" and proud of it ! He jokes about it and that's great. Other short people buy shoes with 2 inch heels and insoles to appear taller. He's honest.
+Mike Denmark he didn't skip him, he just went for the ladies first; he did the same w/ the Obamas. Biden wasn't prepared for that tho, he's used to going first I suppose! Letterman was being chivalrous, haha!
There's not a day goes by that I don't marvel at the titles some people choose to stick on their TH-cam uploads. 'Bearded David Letterman'. Jon Stewart is bearded here also, but obviously that was not worthy of note. Under this video in my feed there's a video titled 'Comedian makes Blake Griffin laugh'. That one's weird because I've never heard of Blake Griffin but the comedian is Norm Macdonald.
+Chosen for a reason Good what?? You are painting something red? Ohhhh... you meant 'riddance'. Looks like you ought to wear that beanie to identify yourself in public.
Retirement if Jon Stewart and David Letterman, who deserves it, was a great loss to late night comedy and I had a hard time grappling with that fact. Trevor Nish and Stephen Colbert are great replacements, but I still miss Stewart and Letterman. I miss Stewart's sharp wit and Letterman's quirky sense of humor. They made for great TV.
Tupemo kuznea96 Yeah, Hamilton, it's this big new broadway show by Lin Manuel Miranda. It wasn't that great a joke, just a remark about how famous the show is.
"Jon! I am guessing trouble with luggage?" This is the classic Dave that I know
The origin of that joke is from Don Rickles and Letterman loves that joke of his. Trouble with the luggage? Outrageous
+Vasisht Vasan
Yes. Speaking of Don Rickles three days ago he turned 90 years of age, God bless him. I love David Letterman and I miss both his performance on his show, also his rare sense of humor.
I did not get the joke
+CaballusKnight Jon is dressed like shit.
dammit, I dress just like him, that's why I didn't even get the joke
lol ever since stewart retired he's been fighting wearing a suit
Who can blame the guy?? I despise wearing them as well
It's confirmed. David Letterman is Santa.
That moment whe David Letterman said, "Oh good, they're running again." He should have followed that up with, "Hillary is going to be pissed!"
JonStewart doesn't give toss about the outfit for the occasion does he. Legend !
he looks like a badass with that beard
If Santa was a badass, I guess.
Racist, but funny :P
***** nope
My Videos aka the Naughty List
A big, bad, hairy ass #ShaveDave
Jon picked the worst time to leave the Daily Show. He was needed during this election
why? is it that difficult to make fun of Trump?
Lan Krownet Hillary. The MSM's bias towards her is nauseating
MSM?
+Lan Krownet Main Stream Media.
+Omair Sheikh he had his time to see it is all lost for his 16 years on show
Never thought David Letterman was cute, but with the beard he's downright GORGEOUS.
You know, he mentioned the mind plays tricks, and I was like "Oh shit, it's Daniel Dennett!"
+Okuno Zankoku: Hahaha yes! Even when speaking it's him
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
haha haha good one
oh wow he does look like him!
"Oh that's nice, they're running again." If only...
This stage is filled with national treasures. Beautiful!!!
I miss Jon and Dave...
John has his hat on with the president. Takes his hat off when sees Letterman. Now that's what I call respect.
I pitty anyone who wasn't around for Dave's NBC years. The show was BEYOND cutting edge and Dave was a freaking rockstar.
"Trouble with the luggage" Tribute to Don Rickles :)
He looks like Sigmund Freud...
More like Charles Darwin
"… oh, that's nice, they're running again." I love the delayed reaction from the crowd.
what a classy man. Addressing the ladies first, how he shakes their hands, just classy. an Icon
The beard on that man, my god! lol
"Except maybe Hamilton" hahahaha loved that
I so miss Letterman.
The circle goes unbroken.
both men look awkwardly at the ground when complimented.
Remember what that looks like. Modesty is dead for the next four years.
Bent Neatly qi
Hey, I'm from the future.
It was somehow so much worse than what you said.
God, I miss Dave.

I miss Jon a lot more...
Fuck Dave, I MISS JON! Baby come back
Jon can suck it, Dave needs to save late night
"Achievement Beard"
Looks great in a beard! :D

So nice to hear his voice again
When Stewart makes the Marylin Monroe joke at 0:35, watch Baracks reaction.
cracked up at "mostly inedible".
I miss Stewart and Letterman.
+BarbaraAnn Me too...every night.
Pure silliness.
The luggage joke was excellent!
Trouble with the luggage!!
Rickles joke.
Great stuff.
Santa!
The audience COMPLETELY misunderstood the "they're running again" joke.
+ShiroiKage009 Explain it my good man.
Raj Singh He's saying that they sound like how they did when they were running because they're going out of office and it doesn't matter because they don't need to act on it anymore. The audience was applauding the idea of them running again.
+ShiroiKage009 that's what I thought too! Like they are more energized to be leaving the office than while they were in office...Haha!
I thought he was referring to how black people are really good runners.
I thought he ment since everyone new Trump was gonna become president that there corrupt assess would be running from the law
Letterman looks great.
1:15 Biden goes in for the handshake and Letterman goes to his wife first LOL
hahahaha michelle got way too much into it at 00:13 and then remembered she was the first lady
lmao I thought the exact same thing!
Miss Jon and David
Biden gets left hanging at 1:13
+legn Letterman greeted the lady first, like a gentleman ;)
+legn haha so awkward. Like always!
+legn SAVAGE
haha
It's called "Class"
God bless Dave.
"I miss JON STEWART and DAVID LETTERMAN soooooo MUCH!!!"
I guess when you quit doing comedy you loose the will to shave? O_O ...it's like counting the rings on a tree... you can tell how long they have been out of work by the thickness of the beard! haha!
+CandyLaStar He said he had to shave every day for 30 years so that's why he grew it
Loose is the opposite of tight.
If there are three men currently living who make me proud to be American, it's David Letterman, John Stewart, and Barack Obama. Such brilliant minds. These men together made the last decade so much better for me and so many Americans. Bernie Colbert 2020!
David Letterman looks like a mega evolution of his old self.
He had this beard during the writers strike!!!
I miss him.
Letterman and Stewart. Both class acts that are missed by many. My Mornings watching the recorded shows from the night before just aren't the same quality they were when these men occupied space on my DVR (PVR as we say in Canada....Personal Video Recorder)
“Trouble with the luggage” what is the Don Rickles one that David Letterman loved
Dave looks so good behind that podium.
+thebard4 It's NOT a podium. It's a LECTERN. They are all standing ON the podium. Root word "podia". Latin for foot. A raised dias.
I have a DICK and I know how to use it. Just ask my bowlegged and smiling wife.
Bet you didn't know that isn't not a podium, did you? Google it, did you?
did not realise jon was short
+master procrastinator
neither did I!
+master procrastinator And David Letterman is very tall!
+master procrastinator you can't be much of a Jon Stewart fan to not know that. You missed one of the BEST political commentators of our time while he was working. Your loss. Everyones loss now that he's retired. Hope he comes back in a simular form to his old show. His unique voice is missed deeply by many
He can trace his lineage back to Abraham, who was also very short
what are those grey pads on the sides?
Oh shit, its Santy Claus! lol Dave is the best!
"Trouble with the luggage"... he stole Don Rickles' line! Lol RIP
Jon Stewart always was a fan of Dave. And when Dave retired, so did he.
And then backstage here Jon met Dave and saw his retirement beard. And I could tell he's like, 'Dave even has to beat me on the retirement beard!' Jesus Christ!
That would've been really funny if he said that here
"Tremendous" ahh oh that voice

Holy Shit! Letterman looks like Rutherford Hayes!
When John greets women he kisses their hands as a (hello MaM.. ),When he got to Mike Obama;it was more like (hey man .... ) with a hug... Clearly he knows and knew for a long time too.

Didn't realize how SHORT Jon Stewart is! Damn Michele is a tall lady!!
my god!! It's only been a year since letterman retired and stewart left the daily show... why the hell do they look like 20 years had passed in their life? They are so old now!!!
Not to generalise but you really aren't playing the percentages if you are breaking out the Walt Whitman references at a USO gig.
Gotta say...I was expecting a lot more 'cracks' after reading the title of this. These two are legends!?
omg he looks like Sigmund freud
I miss Letterman.
Letterman should be a mall Santa in Las Vegas. Should change his voice to like Batman + mask.
1:14 I love you Mr. Biden but ughhhh.... my heart, it HURTS to see this lmao
Is Stewart like 4'11" ?
+john branski Yes, he is a hobbit.
+john branski He's 5'6" and proud of it ! He jokes about it and that's great. Other short people buy shoes with 2 inch heels and insoles to appear taller. He's honest.
+john branski No, but Robert Reich actually is.
TriumvirateMedia he's a dwarf
anybody see letterman skip biden with the handshake hahaha
+Mike Denmark he didn't skip him, he just went for the ladies first; he did the same w/ the Obamas. Biden wasn't prepared for that tho, he's used to going first I suppose! Letterman was being chivalrous, haha!

Daniel Dennett is 75?
There's not a day goes by that I don't marvel at the titles some people choose to stick on their TH-cam uploads. 'Bearded David Letterman'. Jon Stewart is bearded here also, but obviously that was not worthy of note. Under this video in my feed there's a video titled 'Comedian makes Blake Griffin laugh'. That one's weird because I've never heard of Blake Griffin but the comedian is Norm Macdonald.
Soon they will all be, but a bad dream. Good reddens.
+Chosen for a reason Good what?? You are painting something red? Ohhhh... you meant 'riddance'. Looks like you ought to wear that beanie to identify yourself in public.

letterman 2020?
Love David Letterman. Never realized Jon Stewart is so short and Obama's husband Micheal is so large and manly
Your a fuckin moron
Would that they could run again. At the very least there'd be a steady hand on the tiller.
Who is the other black guy in the background ?
WW.
omg Stewart, Letterman and Obama on one stage.
5:25 Obama didn't get the joke and he asked Stewart, who didn't get it either.
I didn't get it either lol
Could you explain it my good man?
+R R I guess it's about that new broadway-show that got a grammy award or sumshit.
Tupemo kuznea96 Yeah, Hamilton, it's this big new broadway show by Lin Manuel Miranda.
It wasn't that great a joke, just a remark about how famous the show is.
