I love that when Donald goes "down" the camera follows him............can you think of any other show where a cam operator is in on the bloopers.....seems like an amazingly fun and free set......just sayin.....other shows don't seem to have relationships like that.......this show was pure gold

Totally agree. I love Community so I also enjoyed season 4. I didn't have as many LOL's as in the previous three seasons but the effort put in by the cast was enough to entertain me.

Like, the horror villa episode is a great idea, and the fact its pierces villa is even better. It fits the community formula perfectly, but the execution just isnt there. It should have been one of the best episodes, but its the first one that makes you kind of question the show. No, the first one to do that is s4e1. The whole hunger deans crap is not funny low budget, its just low budget.
Honestly, I watched Community very recently, I didn't know anything about the crew and what happened. I enjoyed the first 4 seasons very much, didn't even realize the big guy had left. The only episode I didn't like was 5x01. It was kinda different and dark. But, in 5x02 when Annie started a riot, I had thought "ok now THAT'S Community, here we go" and it was great till the end. So yeah, I think the biggest reason everyone hated this season was because Dan Harmon had left.
I only just started watching this show about a week or 2 ago, because I started watching GLOW with Alison Brie, and wanted to more of her! I have never been a big fan of half hour comedy shows, so I never watched it before! But i have to say it is the funnest show I've seen, with unusually likeable characters and actors! Though Annie and Abed are my favorite, I also love seeing Chevy Chase, he has always been one of the best comedy actors! I wish it hadn't been canceled, and I wish they hadn't shortened the seasons towards the end! Someone should at least do a limited series reunion show, so we can catch up with the characters that are still living!
It's not that bad as people want to paint it, but it's not as good as season 1-3 by far. It lacks a certain something. Community always had a certain chemistry, a certain way of mocking pop culture and culture etc. but season 4 didn't feel natural; it tried to be too hard to be Community. It became a parody of itself. It became like all the shows it used to mock. There were moments of cleverness and great guest stars, but in the end season 4 relied too much on gimmicks, not enough on character.
