The awful, terrifying intro video was made by Josh Shiaman for the Toronto Blue Jays with text-to-video AI. I’m very sorry and so is he. But ever since I saw that video last summer, I haven’t been able to think of baseball without seeing red slushy gushing out of that guy’s ear and the kids morphing into hot dogs in my mind’s eye, so I had to pass on the curse to all of you. I think when Nikola Tesla talked about "man-made horrors beyond your comprehension", he meant that Toronto Blue Jays ad. Regular intro with a-ha and Subways Of Your Mind coming back next video. Promise.
I love how you're covering stories that aren't totally beaten to death by other channels. The videos you've put out so far have been nothing short of super entertaining, it's an instant sub from me man. Keep up the good work
Easily my favorite channel on youtube!!!! I love that you cover stories that i never hear anyone else talking about, and theyre ACTUALLY interesting!!!! In an internet full of slop, be a tor
The real crazy part of the 15 strikeouts per game is that there's only 27 outs in a game, so he was responsible for more than half the outs in the games he played, on average.
Autistic people and alcoholism is a sadly common combo. I personally just like not feeling like itching my skin off when im around people so i drink when im in very public situations and its hard to get me out of the house otherwise. Im not the only autistic person i know to do this ether. Its very sad
My new favorite channel!!! As a fellow aspie I really enjoy the cadence and tone with which you deliver your lines as well as the quips therein. Very reminiscent of technology connections. Keep up the amazing work! You won’t be a small channel for long.
Just wanna let you know your microphone is meant to be positioned vertically. The sound picky-uppy bits on that model are on the side above the logo not on the top. Its weird I know. Anyway, keep up the good work man! You're my new favorite content creator, I really appreciate you covering stories I havent seen other channels talk about!
I've watched a few of your older videos before seeing you uploaded this new one. I do have to say you're improving very well! Your first few videos feel a bit scripted but in this one you have this confidence in your voice that makes me want to watch more of your videos. Keep up the amazing work! :)
10/10! Keep going places! I’ve just found your channel and watched a few of your videos and they’re really great! It’s feels very nostalgic to me and original! Have fun!
Something to note: the blue Yeti mics do NOT pick up sound well from the top, it's not like a stage mic. They receive sound from the front and back faces of the mic (depending on what setting you're using). Placing the mic so far away and also with the top facing you really drops the lower registers and is mostly picking up reflected sound from the walls/table. The mic sound be upright, facing you, and closer to your mouth. Also, pop filters are only useful if you're actually speaking AT the mic from a close distance, as they are meant to stifle the sudden bursts of air from Ps and Ts that can POP the sound of the mic. Putting a pop filter on there when it's that far away from you and not even facing your mouth is like putting a condom on a banana before you have sex.
Thank you! This is one of a backlog of videos I recorded last summer before this channel blew up and people started bombarding me with advice. Rest assured, for future videos I will put my mic upright, close to me, and with a neoprene mat across my desk to absorb echo, but I still have several early videos to edit & release and I won't be putting out higher-quality videos until mid-December. But thanks so much for the detailed advice! I know exactly what to do now.
little buddy you are getting me through my work week great job with the videos! it's longform (which I love), but you keep it interesting and funny and have some pretty off-beat topics, which I appreciate. and we can obviously see the work you're putting in. i'm definitely forcing my friends to watch soon :) and i know that it's a little cliche of me to say so.. but, ugh! I shouldn't have watched this as I suzzled up my chunt! P.S. i don't recommend saying this to an australian, i cannot say what will happen if you do
Dude looked like the gigachad meme, actually was the gigachad Bro was an absolute autistic legend I can relate to the being myself getting laughs that are most definitely at my absurd behaviour and not me as a person
For future knowledge, the Louisville in Kentucky is pronounced "LOO-ə-vəl", like loouhvull, even loovul or luuhvul sometimes. Never loo-iss-ville, and not looey-ville is not recommended.
I would imagine the pitcher is the role that suffers least from distraction, as nothing starts til they throw, unlike everyone else in the field who have to be able to catch balls and such. -i guess they still have to field but i would imagine the rest of the team can mostly work around him after the pitch, and if the balls coming to him, theres less time to get distracted than positions further afield.
Im baffled that anyone married this guy, it wouldve been like being married to Manic Pixie Dream Hulk Edit: now i see it typed out, that sounds super fun

Peak TH-cam channel! Very interesting video. I’m not even a baseball fan, but I was very entertained!
loving the channel, great choices in topics and i love your personality :)
You never miss! Great job - it's also the first time I understand the rules of baseball lol
The intro made me deeply uncomfortable

When i get a call the video gets paused for a second before it continues. Each pause you had gave me a mini heart attack 😢 goof vid still
