Last CL-Class appeared in September of 2006. The design of the new car more sold with the family of S-Class W221, apparently some of the elements have been borrowed from history, such as the outline of the grille, you can see the impact of the first-C126. Model number: CL 500 (CL 550 in the US), CL 600, CL 63 AMG and CL 65 AMG.
In 2010, the car has undergone restyling. Changed the shape of bumpers, radiator grille, headlamps appeared LEDs, taillights have become completely red, and the rear lights are located on either side of the license plate. Aspirated V8 in volume of 5.5 liters of the CL 500 has given way to a new 4.6-liter unit with a twin-turbo, developing 435 hp and 700 Nm.
