    In this video you will learn how to set up a shell and tube heat exchanger simulation in Ansys CFX ad perform some very basic post-processing.
    The CAD fro the shell and tube heat exchanger was created in Ansys Design Modeller and the heat transfer and fluid simulation was simulated in Ansys CFX.

    can you explain how should be made 2 fluid solid interface because it was not explained. thanks

      They should generate automatically, otherwise insert interface using insert menu.

      Yes. Set to constant temperature and obtain the convective heat transfer coefficient. There are a few ways.

    in the end of the result, i cannot see temperature distribution. its just inside tube is in red and ZX plane in blue.. can you explain this why this happening.

      Can't be completely sure. Is the case isothermal? Are there any temperature values on the legend?

      i can`t also see temperature distribution because fluid solid interface was not explained or created.

      @@adelgholamigholami7846 This was done automatically be the software. It groups surfaces that are adjacent and assigns contact regions.
