Is it just me or seeing her smile can brighten up anyone’s day it’s so pretty.
When riding trains in Tokyo, one of the things that was very helpful was having a compass. It helps you be on the correct platform for the direction you want to go. Otherwise, for not speaking a bit of Japanese, we did fantastic at getting around Tokyo and getting back to our Hotel.
For your next country I'd recommend one of the nordic countries - they are all on the coldish side (slightly warmer than canada, but not by much), each has their own charm (regardless of which one, do get a diving(scuba) certificate, the waters are awesome):
Iceland - direct flight to canada (rest of the nordic countries will probably route through it), known for its natural beauty and its soul-crushing weather (which is the one thing the icelandic miss the most when away for too long). Has a strong-ish hint of the US mentality as an overlay for the nordic psyche.
Norway - The land of fjords, known for storms, metal music, electric cars, values taking everything at a relaxed pace.
Finland - The land of saunas and lakes, lots and lots of appreciation of the truly weird without getting bizarre, values silence and being left alone.
Sweden - southern sweden is a less cut-throat denmark, northern sweden is cold and relaxed and beautiful, central sweden is for people who can't decide and is the more hectic part.
Denmark - if you want the nordic qualities without the cold but with the european cut-throat mentality this is it. You have germany close enough that you accidently can travel to it.
Personally I'd say go for the northern sweden/finland/norway if you want to revel in immense natural beauty (which you probably will find mundane, with it being somewhat similar to canada), go to the oslo/stockholm/helsinki (south norway, middle-south sweden, south finland) if you want to experience cities and water), go to denmark if you simply want a less insane europe, go to iceland if you simply want a strong sense of unity and nature.
I think Emma has mentioned having spent time in sweden, so do pick her brain about it.
If you want something non-european and cold then try southern argentina or southern chile.

I knew that was your favourite brand Sharla, as I heard you mention it before in a previous video. I have to agree, Yorkshire tea is the only brand I buy. I wasn’t aware of the different flavoured ones. I only thought you could get ordinary and decaf ones. Next time I’m at Tesco, I’ll have to look out for them. Malt biscuit sounds bloody tasty. 😋
Update: just been to Tesco, bought malt biscuit flavour yorkshire tea and drunk it. Tastes and smells of malt biscuits. I’d definitely recommend. 😊
2:25 When I lived in northern Japan and bought a car, I talked with my Japanese coworkers about keeping a blanket and sleeping bag in my car over the winter, for emergencies in case of getting stranded (I'm from the US northeast where that was a standard emergency car item). They just laughed incredulously and said they had never heard of such a thing...

Sadly with the 18 hour difference between Japan and Alaska, I can never catch your streams as they go live, but I love going back to watch them while I do my nails. Right now my girlfriend and I are having tea and watching this while I break out my home acrylics kit to do our nails before Solstice. Do the Japanese celebrate the Solstice or Equinox?

I went to your dream island a while ago and it was cute! I think it was in the summer. As for the PS4, I know I have a lot more free time than you do lol, but I've been having a lot of fun with Yakuza: Like a Dragon. They did such a nice job with the western localization. I had no idea the did lip sync for both Japanese AND English until I saw videos online of the English because I always play in Japanese with subs. So cool
Funny thing about 2020. I've never made more money, been happier or healthier than I am this year. Historically I tend to do well when things are crap. It's just the way I'm wired.

Gah! I tried Yorkshire tea several years ago, when I was 1st getting into drinking tea more, and I hated it with a passion! But....now that I know there is different flavors, I really want to try them.
I can only drink black decaf now, green decaf is very rare in my country. Black tea decaf version is not that common, mainly they are herbal. Which is not the same. I tried some Taylors of Harrogate, Bigelow, Lipton and once Pg tips! I like it more when no flavour is added. I used to love Darjeeling. Black. No milk.
I'm playing on PS5 and while the game has bugs and crashes is perfectly playable but far from a smooth experience. Honestly is best to wait until is fixed which is going to take a lot of time. Glad to hear that they won't make you start over the cat process ☺️

Jam one is in Asda only at the moment, but the biscuit and sleepy ones are also at Morrisons.

Hey Sharla! 🥰 I’m watching this now, bit late to the live stream haha, but London Fog is deffo known in the U.K. more so in London I think ha! But I went to a costa coffee one time and they told me about it as a girl from London asked them to make it for her and they made me one, and it was awesome!! 😍🥰 I think if you ask the cafes and they know about it they’ll make it. Also I’m sure one of the teas in the U.K. has been made so that it is also suitable for milk alternatives too!

I guess you are ready for your next adventure, I can't imagine why you'd want to swap Japan for Europe, although there are charming, quirky places here too, I'd recommend Switzerland if you are looking for clean, healthy living and spectacular views, France for culture, and here in the UK I'd avoid London and the South East, it's not very friendly, over crowded,etc, and try Yorkshire or Cheshire, Harrogate is beautiful, really old world and Betty's Tea Shop is spectacular if you love your tea (their house blend will knock your socks off and you can order online.) .
Best tea to drink in the UK apart from Bettys, is Twinings, it's the gold standard. Their Earl Grey, Lady Grey and English Breakfast teas are excellent, I sometimes get Waitrose own blend, but try not to get Value tea (it's just the tea shavings yuk!).
I have lived in the UK for 14 years and never seen them!
A small coffee chain in Michigan makes great Earl Grey Lattes. The EG they use is Earl Grey Supreme by Harney and Sons.
My cats are named Kuro and Sweeney (2 norwegian forestcats). Miss those little ones 😭 Had to give them away since my wife had allergic reactions to them...
My giant mastiff is named Kuro. Such a good pet name. :)

Macs are “gaming” machines out of the box. Apple uses high end graphics processors by default. They’re not like PCs where you have to make sure the graphics card is good enough to play a game.

There's a problem here - the taste of tea is as much to do with the water as the tea itself. But flavoured tea? WTF? Why would they do that. Tea-flavoured tea is the stuff we want.
