There’s a light next to you making your hair have a pink tint and i think you would rock a pastel pink hair!!
I would LOVE pink hair but I’m a little scared of bleaching my hair white to prep it before pink, it’s already quite damaged😅😅
I bought a big bag of _dagashi_ for a Christmas gathering a few years ago and a Corn Potage Umaibo was one of the items included. It made everyone who tried it exclaim in confusion. I said that it tasted like what we call creamed corn in the States that had been cursed by forces from another dimension.

I love Japanese snacks. I love Japanese seaweed chips! And grape gummies!
Bear bells and pepper spray are very important for hikers to carry. It's the best way to find lost hikers. Every time you see bear crap that has bells in it and smells like pepper spray, you've found a lost hiker.
It is Milchreis if I understood Ryotaro right, you can eat it hot or cold.. I prefer it with strawberry jam.
Ooo I’ve never tried it with jam, that sounds really good!
They sell the corn portage and other varieties in japanese stores here in Australia, but it is 1 hour drive away, WORTH IT!

@@StephmollyMoo ahh, so jealous. I live in Yeppoon near Rockhampton QLD and we don't really get anything here unless you travel to Brisbane/Sunshine coast. Which is about 5 to 7 hours away.

I can't eat natto, even though I live in Mito, Ibaraki Prefecture, which is famous for natto.
I've hated it since I was a child. So when natto was served at school lunch, I wanted to run out of the classroom 😩
There are a lot of people who don't like natto!

Vegan and they no vegan options for u sadly. I go to Victoria every time my Japanese relatives come to visit.. they love it! Charla love how authentic u are as a person and bc u understand the culture and ur Japanese is amazing I can see the chemistry difference hanging with Ryo San and Natsui San. I also love the chemistry with Chris with the boys but I see the difference as someone that speaks both. Love u all!!

Ramu I believe is a line of soda from Japanese brand Sangaria, they're based in Osaka, so maybe you won't see it much up where you are. The soda Mary had might have been a bit tinny, I believe the bottle is made of metal.

You can get gummy vitamin sweets now... in a shop, they were reduced to 30p from £3 something so brought them and forgot they were vitamins and ate the whole thing... super healthy lol

In the UK and Hong Kong we do not have corn soup (growing up a brit born chinese) but in chinese takeaways and restaurants in the UK which serve westernised Chinese food they serve chicken and sweetcorn soup hahaha so confusing. Especially as you said Japanese think corn soup is a Western cuisine

I was in an asian supermarket and i wanted to buy Japanese candy but im vegan and didnt think I could as i think alot of them had gelatine and animal products in them
And there was alot of "E" number codes which i dont know if they were short for gelatine etc as i dont know the food codes on the ingredients. In ireland we have the ingredients spelt out and rarely just codes
Yeah you have to have a pretty good grasp of the language to be able to read the ingredients thoroughly. Mochi stuff is often a safe bet!

I so want to go back...you even inspire me to want to live and work there but im 40...so maybe im too old and the pandemic is dragging out :) Im in dublin, ireland.
When my uncle was alive he took me there for a hamburger. It was really good but way more grease then I liked.
