CHIANGMAI 2023 - Around town and Yi Peng Festival

Had a few free days in ChiangMai before starting our bikepacking trip (Lanna Kingdom).
We roamed around town visiting sights and temples, mostly at the Old Quarter, and also along the many hills. Had our share of great food and fun.
Took the opportunity to join in the Yi Peng Festival (Lantern Festival) held annually. It was a really surreal experience and really recommend to anyone to visit it at least once to behold the beauty.
Next up… bikepacking the Lanna Kingdom!
