From the road or car park there is a cable car up to Phra That Doi Suthep but the service fee is approximately 50 baht per person. Thai call Naga ( Giant snake ) not Dragon
Hi my friend died last year and this looks like a lovely place to spread his ashes but was unsure if I’d be allowed to. I would like to stick some ashes on the lantern and maybe a photo of him but I imagine that they wouldn’t allow that as it could cause fires if the photo set alight. But even just the ashes inside it would that be okay as it seems like such a nice thing to do for him. Thanks
@@Sam_tyler_What is the name of the bridge? I want to go this year, but I am getting a lot of mixed information about the sky lanterns. There are plenty of people releasing sky lanterns from the bridge? Thank you 😊
that music tho, it calms the heart and my energy at ease

Sounds interesting!

Sounds like a lovely thing to do, if you went to one of the paid ticketed private lantern events, I’m sure you could do this:)
@@Sam_tyler_ thank you 🙏

ขอซับไทยหน่อยครับพี่ Please give me Thai subtitles.
Did you pay for the tickets for the lantern event ?
on the bridge nope, but they have special ticketed areas which I reccommend which is maybe 5-6k Baht and its beautiful
The bridge where you went to fly your lantern, was it free there?
Yep :)
@@Sam_tyler_ ok thanks! Planning to go this year but I don't want to pay much. 😅

where do you buy your sky lantern festival ticket?😊
The ticketed events you can get them online months prior :)
Sam can't you atleast stay nearby paid event gate and take videos?
