    Great stuff! Keep it up. I’ve had a few great CD buys as well, but apparently I collect them 😂 the wife has me cut off until I get more listed!

    Nice. There's money in CDs. People just need to know what to look for. Doing this part-time on eBay, selling mainly CDs, I make roughly enough to cover my mortgage each month. I love collecting and selling physical media!

      I charge 2 cds 💿 $20
      3 cds $40
      Cds are hella expensive to make a lot of money sell them for decent price not cheap

      Same here but in my area is hard to sell cds 💿 they ask for USBs instead I need to go farther places

      I bought like 1200 cds for $200 and kind of instantly regretting it. Seems like it’s taking forever just to clean a handful without even listing them yet. I know most cds don’t bring much profit at all. Is it worth it? Any advice?

    Do you test the 8-track tapes? 🇨🇦

    • @BamaJaybirdResell
      @BamaJaybirdResell  หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, but I rarely buy them and only in super nice condition. If I decided to buy them in bulk I would certainly invest in a player to test them. I usually play test any regular cassettes that are questionable, but I have bought them in bulk on multiple occasions. Thanks for watching!!

    Did you have a bushcraft/camping related channel at on point. I ask because your logo kinda looks like it.

    • @BamaJaybirdResell
      @BamaJaybirdResell  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I didn’t. This is my first TH-cam channel. The logo with the map and compass is actually supposed to represent the search for inventory, at least that’s what I had in mind when I chose it. 😂😂

    Quality reissues of older music are limited and still in demand since the record label felt it necessary to reissue. Any of these post 2000 are on the rarer side.
    Condition is key for Lps. Any 45 that's common needs a company or picture sleeve.

      @ nooooo dobt regretttt first of all if u buying the cds used ur basically getting them cheap but brand new it would of cost more and cds 💿 that are rare and hard to find are worth a lot of money on eBay that’s why I keep my old school rap cds 💿 it depends on the artist and if it’s a hard to find cd 💿 they run for a lot of money these days

    When I’m doing a search on the eBay app, I can’t find an option for scanning bar code. It’s only an option to take a photo. The bar code option doesn’t come up until I’m listing. Am I doing something wrong?

    • @BamaJaybirdResell
      @BamaJaybirdResell  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That’s odd, I’m not sure. Any time I use the app and go to the search icon for research on my phone and the camera opens, I have a toggle option at the bottom of the screen with both image and barcode listed. I can choose between either when doing research or listing. You might be over looking it, but if not, you might check your app settings and see if it’s an option there to change the setup.

      @@BamaJaybirdResell Cool. I live in a super small town. Nobody even breaks down here. :P I recently bought a collection of 1200 CDs at a yard sale. The woman's step mother had passed and the step moms CD collection was extremely similar to mine. Some goobs picked over it and took all the popular stuff. I just wanted the unusual stuff anyway. :P

    On the classical...it's a hold and wait moment...but it's worth the wait when you have an out of print CD... The classical music libraries for the record companies are run by total morons...and the main ones we're after had the shelf life of a mayfly...

    • @BamaJaybirdResell
      @BamaJaybirdResell  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I’m a total novice on the classical side of music as far as value is concerned, though I have noticed that there are a lot really pricey ones in the sold listings. The tape lot I purchased had quite a few sealed classical cassettes, but I don’t think they are any crazy valuable ones. I’ll likely end up selling them off as a lot. Thanks for watching buddy!!
