So do you want to upgrade to this air 2S ?
I’m thinking about getting the Air 2s over the Mini 3. There are some issues with range of Mini 3 and uncontrolled descent when the battery is overloaded from windy conditions. Hard to choose. I want the smaller size/weight but not the glitches.
I have a mavic air 2 and it is amazing if you are like a photographer and want like 5k I would do the air 2s but other then the camera they are pretty much the same drone.

I’ve had my Air2 S a week or so after launch date. Love it. Could use better filters but it’s a amazing drone and the zoom on it is great 👍. Coming from a Original Mavic Pro this thing is incredible.

Most are haters trust me... Being a long time pilot ...far before most of the folks now... who are in the "Drone craze"... I know there are times when we wish we would have recorded and there are times that we do record our flights... I mean who would ever believe that I flew my original Mavic Mini 3.4 miles one way and back?? ... Landing at less than 0%??... Doesn't require belief because I carry the experience with me 💯And this is to the fellow who uploaded the video ....what is true simply does not require belief to continue to be true ...that is the beauty of the truth.

I bought a copy of a larger style mini 1 case for the air 2s, it's so much better than the awkward black bag that comes with the 2S fly more combo kit.

My Air 2s arrived last week and I really like it a lot. I wonder if the linking problem was your phone, because the remote and the aircraft seemed to link ok, and the Ipad worked. I didn't have this problem with my Android phone or tablet and I also have several DJI drones. But it's good people got to see it happen on your channel so they may know what to do to fix it.

I like how they added those extra sensors toward the top. Wish I could have waited for the Air 2S to come out but got the MA 2 instead & I love it. Excellent unboxing Dustin & looking forward to the flight test video!! 😊

Thank you Dustin for all the information you give me in the last few months, you have my head crazy since I got into drones over 2 months ago , in that time I bought the autel evo 2 8k , and I bought the DJI air 2 s yesterday waiting for it to come , I also bought the bugs 20 and the bugs 12 great little practice drones !! The DJI Pro 3 will still exist. I think it will be a bit faster, have better object avoidance, faster processing for automated functionality, 6K60 camera along with 4K60 10-bit HDR, Occusync 3.0, quieter props, and have a few minutes of extra battery life. It will also have a variable aperture so you don’t need ND filters. That’s the one I’m waiting for! I’m a photographer and the Mini 2 has been my testing device and so far I’m getting pretty good!

All seems to be unchanged. Think this is aimed at the folks that are a bit more professional with photography. At a price
Tag of $300 more than the air 2, it just may be worth it..but at $1300, it’s getting close to the Pro, but a nice compliment

I know this is only a day old, but it makes perfect sense that you have to reinstall the app. The app will autoupdate on its own if you have it set to do so and this issue will eventually fix itself. BUT when the app first came out the DJI AIR 2S was not out. You need to upgrade to the android version of the app that supports the AIR 2S. If you want to be granular about it, look at the version of the app you have before the reinstall and look at the version you have AFTER the reinstall.
These were both the android & apple store apps. Not the version from DJI's site FYI. A good comparison on how they deal with adding a new craft 🍻

Hallo Dustin. Please keep up the good work. Would like some advise if you dont mind. Im from South Africa and the DJI drones are very pricey here. What would you recomend between the air 2 and air 2s? Only have the budget for one of them.
Get the 2s only if you want better camera and upward obstacle sensors. Check my video tomorrow to see 🍻

Probably Air2S but mini 2 is so light and easy for manual type recreational flying. I really like both 🍻

Hi Dustin. First off ... no USB adapter came with the Spark ... I had a 'Fly-more Spark' ... and it didn't have that. Kind of disappointing that the Android version of the App is so deficient. In a world where Android devices dominate with about 90% usage, there's no excuse for this, other than DJI's continuing to kiss Apple's nether regions. Quite a UAV. Remember the old days of making our own, with a GPS drone like the XK X380 (or its big brother the XK X500). People who are just now starting their UAV adventures don't realize how far these things have come (of course, my 55+ years of RC flying take me WAY back .. ha ha). Good unboxing ... looking forward to your follow-ups, especially the RANGE TEST! Oh, looks like you have a female Maine Coon cat, which I saw in the background early in the video. I've had Maine Coon neuters (males) for over 30 years (still have 2, age 14 & 16). Mahalo !

@@DustinDunnill Hi Dustin. Okay on 'Lulu' ... I've not seen any 'doll faced' Persians, which is probably why I identified her as a Maine Coon. I used to go to CFA cat shows frequently, and am familiar with most breeds .. had lots of friends who were either judges or breeders. I never showed my cats ... just attended to socialize & see the advancement of various breeds. We'll keep an eye out for your future adventures with the DJI Air 2. Mahalo!

Hey Dustin, I have the mavic air 2, and considered it the best deal DJI ever had. But I think the air 2 S , was kinda a money grab, by DJI. Kinda like the Platinum was , with the original pro.
They do seem to be going the way of apple. Small refinements for the next models at a premium price 🤔🍻

i think it does 120 fps with 4k with the updates now
you need to update the dji fly on android for it to detect air2s, you cant donwload the latest version from play store, dji website only. not dji fault here.
you dont have to update anything, you can fly straight out of the box.

Amazon is mainly the issue. If the shipper uses FedEx, DHL, UPS you can usually get them. Try eBay also 🍻
