SEPTEMBER 6TH I will be back in Copenhagen hosting a summer at Techfestival! If you're around you should join! techfestival.co/event/conscious-video-summit/
Jack Coyne hey jack , thanks for upload , i live in amager in copenhagen . you hit it spot on , denmark is about enjoy and relax , bicykles and pretty girls ..
American: "This is going to be the best tour ever". Danish: "I think we are exaggerating a bit". Summarizing the basic difference between Danish and American people. Keeping it real. Great video.
Reminds me of traveling on a boat along the River Rhine. The americans all were saying "awesome' and 'wow' and 'this is the greatest ever...'. The Brits were just saying "oh, nice view" and the Danish guy was saying that this was the difference between Brits and Americans...
I spent three months in Sweden this year and did some travelling arround scandinavia. Copenhagen was definitely my favorite City aswell. If you havent been there - DO IT!
I have a Job offer in Copenhagen, and I was shitting myself thinking about moving, but this video gave me the vibes. If Jack did it for a year, so can I.
Trust me, you will not regret it! Copenhagen is the most amazing city in the world, especially during summer time. There is so much to do, and the people are very friendly. I moved to CPH last year.
I’m currently living in Denmark as an exchange student for one year. Had no prior knowledge of the country at all but it didn’t take long to realise it is one of the most amazing countries in the world :)
Sandtrooper a small city called Sønderborg on Als :) I’ve actually seen so much of the country! it’s so interesting seeing how different such a tiny country can be after travelling only an hour north
@@Elliehiskins Not that small; it's the 24th biggest in Denmark, only 3 spots behind my city, Slagelse. ^^ Yeah, the nature definitely gets rougher and darker the farther north you go, at least on Nørrejyske Ø/North Jutlandic Island north of Limfjorden. It's nice that you've seen so much! Have you been to any of the far ends like Vendsyssel, Møn, or even Bornholm? Or only closer to Als? And how long have you been here? I always dreamed of being an exchange student... :D
@@Elliehiskins It's so funny how you can literally travel 3 hours by car from east to west and suddenly people can hardly understand each other :D A small nation both in terms of landmass as well as population, but there exists such a large diversity. Copenhagen in itself is so different from the rest of the country, yet it is still so "Danish". I'm currently a Danish student living in Italy, it's great to experience other countries this way. Good luck with your studies
Sandtrooper quite smaller than what I’m used to in Australia, but still not so small as a lot of other Danish towns. I have mainly travelled between Aarhus, Odense and Sønderborg but when I come again I’m planning on seeing all the edges and far corners of the country! I just returned home after a ten month high school exchange. Such an awesome experience to see how different the culture and every day life is
@AliGR the first word means "oil", the second is a (one slice of bread, open) type of sandwich, and the third one has to do with the military chain of command (I suppose, not sure).
Daniel Lomholt i moved from denmark to spain when i was 7, i have basically no memories from copenhagen. And i only lived 30 mins from there now i really wanna go back
We just got back from Copenhagen for the first time and absolutely LOVED it! Thanks for sharing this. Did you stop by Reffen Street Market while you were there?
Copenhagen is such a great city in a great country! I love how things are so well maintained, I love the cleanliness, the architecture, the nature there. Been there 5 times but wish I could live there!
I spent a semester abroad in 2017 in a little city in the middle of Copenhagen and Stockholm called Jönköping. While I was there I travelled down to Copenhagen a bunch of times and it soon became one of my fave cities in the world. I came across this video today and it made me really happy. Thanks Jack!
I just returned from my first trip to Copenhagen and I had a fantastic time there.Weather was perfect. Food and drinks were all around great. The pastries were the most amazing I have ever had. The new pop up food venues were off the charts. Rented bikes and rode all over as well as ran every morning throughout the city.Went to Copenhot sauna and spa on the main canal which was a treat. Chrisitiania was amusing and fun, coming from Santa Cruz it felt bit like home. I will definitely go back and explore more of the country. Nice video really enjoyed watching it.
As a person who has lived in Copenhagen my whole life, you don’t ever think other people will find little Denmark interesting but I guess I was wrong! I’m glad you like is
@@mariewiinholt5899 I totally did. Had such a great time. Went around the whole city center. The Danish people were super chill and friendly. Enjoyed that too. My immense thanks for the recommendation.
We were in Copenhagen at the same time you were there! It was the end of a roadtrip trough the south-west of sweden and a part of denmark. Love that city! and love Sweden and Denmark! I especially love the mentality and how friendly the people are
Museums always becomes a bit greater, when the building itself has character. It makes for a good ambience and the experience feels more wholesome. I love the Glyptotek as well.
A sweet, sweet video, Jack. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us. P.S. I actually always wanted to learn some animation and digital drawing, thanks for the idea.
I fell in love with Copenhagen in 1965 when my US Coast Guard ship pulled in for a week before we headed north into the arctic ocean about Russia. Cleanest city I have ever seen, and the nicest people too. Would love to live there too.
Tommy Victor Buch Selv om jyderne og ø-tosserne til tider er lidt uenige om hvordan tingene hænger sammen (og sådan vil det nok altid være, haha), så er vi stadig af samme kød og blod. Hilsen fra djævleøen.
Love the way you integrate the sponsorship into the videos! The way that your videos are benefitting from the input is something you don’t see very often on this platform. Even if it is as subtle as that title text
Another outstanding video, Jack! I live in one of the first Danish settlements in the US, Elk Horn, Iowa. I haven't been to Copenhagen for nearly 4 years, so it was great to see all the new architecture!
CPH was the greatest experience Ive ever had, I absolutely stunned by the city and citizens. Couldnt find any reasons not to visit it times and times again!
now thats what i call a very very kool city tour of a city-Kopenhavn-ultra city of very new-with just the right blend of old.this city is on my bucket list!
Yes! It is the greatest city. So glad you visited GoBoat - the best way to see the city is from the water. I ran things down at GoBoat last summer and it would have been a pleasure to show you around! Maybe catch you in CPH sometime in the future.
Been there in 2014.The Copenhagen casino was a bad luck day but other than that.Almost everybody rides bikes here. Its a chill place as I went here and germany in 2014.Loved the place! They showed a Mexican American vato a lot of love!
Dude, so cool that you show off Copenhagen. I live here, and i know it's the best city, however since we're such a small country we barely get noticed. So thanks
Copenhagen is the best! I love that I got recommended this video - then I see you showing the exact same dorm where I used to live just a few months ago.
Yo, jack! I’ll be going to Copenhagen in exactly one week, where I too will be studying abroad for a semester. I’ll be making many videos/vlogs there. Any advice?? Lmk
Copenhagen is in the top 5 places on my list to visit! Loved the music, loved the views, loved Copenhagen! Travel becomes you Jack- you'll have to write a book...
Copenhagen is pretty much super chill but it's way different to live in the middle of the city with tourists, students and such than to actually live in local Danish areas. The downside is usually outside of that bubble.

Du ligner ret kraftigt en gut der var på samme skiferie som mig i Vinters! - Sestriere.
hej med dig
moved from london to copenhagen three years ago, best decision i made in my life
Luke Swain Let’s hang out sometime before it gets too cold :)
Sinds bror
@RoEd ja, jeg kan snakker danske
@RoEd måske han brugt google translate eller ved lidt, jeg kom fra dubai og nu bor i københavn for omkring 2 årer nu
Do you still live there?
The Danish, are probably the friendliest people I’ve ever come across! Love it in Copenhagen.
It's Joel have you been to Holland?
Pim Schouten I have, only Amsterdam and Utrecht. People super friendly there too.
It's Joel I'm from Utrecht🙋♂️
Pim Schouten awesome! Nice place. Although I was only there for the day!

Denmark is the only country in Scandinavia I haven't been to. Definitely need to check out COPENHAGEN! Looks so awesome and beautiful there.
make sure to visit during summer!
It really isn’t
Visit a smaller town like Næstved or Horsens, much more fun.
Bacce Not for a tourist who wants to see the major attractions, I'm sure they don't want to go to some hole of a city in the outskirts of the country.
Mike Sheffer check it out
As a Dane living abroad, this makes me miss Copenhagen! Dope vid man!

You would regret living there exept for summer cuz it rains just like in London for months untill summer, the only period you get to see the light.

It's so underrated, but if more people went they would love it too!
Marie Wiinholt jeg boede i København til jeg var 5 og nu længes jeg så meget tilbage til den dejlige by;( men Torshavn er også helt ok :)
Well. I'm visiting Copenhagen tomorrow, do you have anyplace that I could check out?
Rishav Adhikari you should visit a place called “nyhavn” there’s a lot of shopping and dinner places around that area
@@mariewiinholt5899 I totally did. Had such a great time. Went around the whole city center. The Danish people were super chill and friendly. Enjoyed that too. My immense thanks for the recommendation.
I lived in Copenhagen for 5 months doing construction... amazing city. I gotta go back. Great vid!
Backflipped into the Nyvahn harbor at 3 AM in April... not a great idea
What construction?

I'll be studying here for 5months, been here for a week and i'm already blown away of how beautiful the city is, perfect mix between old and new!
Awesome video, Jack - captures the vibe! And nice meeting you!
Nice, would love to check it out now!
You are the hustlemeister! Loved watching this.
I also studied in Copenhagen, so I find myself coming back to this video every month or so. I've probably seen this 30 times.

Best welfare on the planet, free medical care, free education, 5weeks of holiday at work per year... yet for some reason we are not free 😂
*We get paid for doing education (: its not that bad ^^
Someone pays you to not show up to class through their taxes #equality
Tricko giving you a life in debts for basic education =freedom
Letting other people pay for your education leaving no incentive or pressure to take it seriously
Because those who pay tens of thousands per semester don't skip classes.
I was there only yesterday for a concert! Great video man!
I'm going to study in Hamburg, Germany for six months next year but man do i wanne go to Copenhagen too, might wanne do another training there!
Loved getting a glimpse of Copenhagen especially since I'm studying abroad there next year! :)

Arriving on 14th Aug at copenhagen. Excited !!
I live in Copenhagen its a fantastic place.
This is amazing! Now I want to go to Copenhagen even more! :)))
Copenhagen is pretty much super chill but it's way different to live in the middle of the city with tourists, students and such than to actually live in local Danish areas. The downside is usually outside of that bubble.
