    Today only I have come back from Ladakh trip of 7 days and I must say that the point 7 you mentioned, I have fallen prey to that. I feel incomplete here in my home in Delhi because I have left my soul in Ladakh and its people. So proud and happy that I could go there

      @@discoverwithdheeraj your videos clarifies most of the pointers, I am planning my visit to zanskar leh circuit for the first time having few queries, keeping cash would be a better idea considering remote locations also is it better for advance bookings for stays or places where stays are available will be easy to get accommodation.
      Or carrying a camp would be an option.
      Most important how and for which all places do we need permits and how can we get it in advance availability is offline or online?
      Thank You

    1)Planning to go to Leh on 16th June, the roads will be opened? or should we postpone the plan?
    2) Can you mention some contacts for bike rental in JammuAnd also in Leh

      1. By middle of June roads should be open.
      2. Not sure of Jammu but outside Leh rented bikes are not allowed for sightseeing in Ladakh., For bike rentals or bike tours in Leh Ladakh, personally, I can recommend Ladakh Bike Rental shop run by Gurmat Namgial (+91-9419980089), (+91-9419303024), ladakhbikerental@gmail.com. Dheeraj Bhai! This is Ram Godar from Hyderabad. Offlate, I stumbled upon your videos on Leh-Ladakh. You are sharing the information with lots of clarity and fine details. Bhai! I am planning a trip with my wife to Leh-Ladakh in the second week of May 2024 according to your suggested itinerary of Entry from Srinagar-Leh Raod and exit through Leh-Manali Road. As you are aware Leh-Manali Road is closed at the moment. Can I book my flight to Delhi or Srinagar and start my trip on the 15th of May hoping the Leh-Manali road will open by the end of May or should I wait till the Leh-Manali road opens and then book the tickets? What is your suggestion?

    • @discoverwithdheeraj
      @discoverwithdheeraj  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks Ram bhai.. pleasure to share the information! Well, there is a 60:40 chances in favour of Manali Leh being open after middle of MAy. There could be some disruptions and road may not be fully stable but chances are likely that it should be made through/open for light vehicles at least by that time.. All is subject to good weather in the coming weeks.. last few days has not helped due to snowfall and all.

Better you travel from Manali side to avoid traveling later in the month of OCtober and come back from Srinagar side. Check the itinerary below that you can modify and reverse but on Manali Leh, sleep first night at Solang Valley instead of Manali and second one sleep at Jispa and third Leh. As of now within Ladakh there are no time restrictions. Srinagar Leh has it but in season time as snow melts road will open all day.. Manali Leh once open in initial days may have some restrictions on timings but by second week of June most time restrictions are gone.. Now for second question, no it is not sufficient. Ideally should travel from Srinagar side but if traveling from Manali side then always a bit safe that you sleep at Jispa then Leh for two nights then Nubra Valley then Pangong Lake and then lastl Tso Moriri lake

      @rangoli1989 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So cutting short to one night at Jispa , 2 night at leh and Pongong and back and move to Sonmerg one and half day , Srinagar day

    • @discoverwithdheeraj
      @discoverwithdheeraj  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @rangoli1989 not going to Nubra? If not then dont sleep at Pangong at least it will be risky.. may be Tangtse is a bit safer than sleeping at Pangong without Nubra visit

      @@discoverwithdheeraj yes try to move lower elevation in night , also have one portable oxygen sufficient for 3 hours @2 lit per minute to get out of danger zone if need arises . No interest in snowfall but sceneries , So many years involved in snow clearing in high mountains upto 10000-11000 ft and glaciers but Laddakh is unique with more heights but gentler slope

      For bike rentals or bike tours in Leh Ladakh, personally, I can recommend Ladakh Bike Rental shop run by Gurmat Namgial (+91-9419980089), (+91-9419303024), ladakhbikerental@gmail.com. Gurmat is a dear friend, a reliable and trustworthy guy based out in Leh.

      As per taxi/bike union rule the private car or bike should be under your name or parents name or someone whom you can prove relation with.
      Checking of private cars/bikes, especially in a small group, are pretty rare these days and this suggestion is a precautionary mesaure only.
      When you take a friend’s bike/car or some else's bike/car (not your immediate family/same surname), then you should carry a NOC document from them stating that the bike/car is for private use only, he is the owner of the bike/car with RC number, and he authorizes you with your DL number to ride/drive the bike/car personally for this Leh Ladakh trip.
      There is no guarantee but this NOC document will be helpful in case someone stops you and objects the case of RC not being under your name. Solving the matter amicably is highly recommended unless you want to go into the struggle and spoil the rest of the vacation and money for the trip.

      Bhai Srinagar Leh Highway right now authorities say that 4x4 is necessary but mostly they allow SUVs so XUV should be OK as long as you can manage to drive in road conditions.. Zojila Pass is opening and closing now a days due to weather and all. But it should get stable if weather is OK.. also Zojila pass is one way traffic and has odd-even direction rule with strict timings. Be flexible and open
