As i kept listening to all the precautions to be taken, I literally felt nausea, at the idea of going to Ladakh. Then the knowledge that it would be very breezy,sent shivers down my spine, as I suffer from eye allergy due to cold breeze, I always wear sun glasses whenever i go to some cold place, even with the glasses my eyes would be constantly watering, and due to that my nose also keeps on watering. It is a real hell for me. However, I love cold weather, and hate the heat, but my allergies prevent me from really enjoying the places.
Enjoy your trips with your mom! No high altitude for me.

Sir I am from Bangalore. Planned a trip to Leh during May June 24. From Delhi to Leh. To get acclamitize myself can I stay in Jisba for 2 days and then travel towards Leh. Sir I am a South Indian
Yes you can.... But Jispa is not at a very high altitude... Once you will start your journey towards Leh from Jispa your first high pass will be Baralachala which is at an altitude of 15000Ft. For many of us it becomes tough to adjust our bodies to such sudden drastic change in altitude. Having said that a lot of people do it without facing any problems.
