- What happens when college students are hypnotized to think that they have suddenly become the most ripped and jacked bodybuilders in the world and yet can't lift a simple chair off the ground?
This was a brand new routine I was testing out for the very first time to see how it would go and it went so well that it's definitely something that I'll be doing again for sure.
Creating entertaining experiences like these with hypnosis are so much fun and the reactions they produce in each and every show are always so hilarious! :)

This is not fake I study psychology and learned that when induced in the hypnotic state your brain goes through what is called the theta state. In this state your subconscious could basically be rewired. You also go through this state while in the first stage of sleep. I tried to put my brother into a trance didn't work, all he did was get sleepy so I made him lay down and visualize and right before he was fully asleep I started giving him suggestions just like a hypnotist then I woke him up and it worked. To some it up this is not fake these are not played actors this is real and this stuff requires work and dedication. So let's give my man Zach a round of applause.

There was a guy in my school whom we used to wake up in the middle of his sleep and give him a character and he would believe that he is that character. Once we woke him up and he started throwing chairs at us thinking himslef to be some kind of monster and then sat down and started crying. Then he went down and complained the teacher that something was going on in his dorm and came back running, sat down and wiped his tears and became normal. Once the teacher came to check on him and asked him what was the problem, he said he never called him in the first place. Damn

@@keira.s1 it makes me kind of want to experience it to see if it does work or not, I would, of course, not work against it, but just let the guy do his thing. The only thing is is that I honestly don't want to allow myself to be influenced in another way. I might see a hypnotist show tomorrow, but if I'm selected or not, I won't refuse... probably
hypnosis is real but it wont work on you unless you give yourself entirely to it... when they get hypnotised their brain goes through what is called a theta state. @@FreshAndre I know that the human body is actually stronger than what it shows, but it has limiters that limit that strength to only be used in times it's needed (like how when people are in a dangerous situation how they somehow are able to lift cars off of someone). I wonder if hypnotism could potentially temporarily release those limiters? It would probably be dangerous to have them lift something they don't need to, I'm just curious

I remember me and a couple of friends went to go see a show of a guy hypnotizing people and as we was watching him do it we slowly start to get a headache and aches you know it we end up getting hypnotized and we got brought up to the stage as well and my one friend that didn't get hypnotized recorded us and apparently the person made of twerk made us pretend we were drama queens and made us see a snake😂

Hypnotism controls or puts our mind into a very special condition, it doesnt make someone physically stronger. It just enhances the ability of the brain to think that we can do something. If they are able to lift the chair when they're hypnotized, they can do the same even in a normal situation.

Question:
Is hypnosis kind of like dreaming? As in the not remembering and being kind of disembodied? And can being a lucid dreamer make it easier to stop the hypnosis? I’ve tried being hypnotized, and I got out by using tricks I was taught to make it easier to lucid dream, or change/end a dream.
Hypnosis is just a method of suggesive micro commands. The Hypnotist (albeit a far more impressive one than this fake) will basically utilise binaural and suggestive actions to convice you that you are capable of something temporarily. Using very precise vocal tones and body movements they will attempt to capture the attention of your conscious and sub conscious in order to make you fall into "hypotic sleep" which is just easier term for a type of REM sleep that keeps your sub conscious awake but your conscious fully asleep. Its works based on the premise that the human mind learns and processes more in depth thoughts with our sub conscious rather than our conscious. There are multiple forms of Hypnosis which all follow similar techniques but are utilised for different things. We even have the ability to hynotise ourselves into doing things without thought like an instincual feeling to grab something immediately as it falls or to say something out loud without realising. Its just the power of suggestion

@@purplevoid7289 the people most susceptible to hypnotism are the one’s that are easily lost in the things they do, like reading, if they are easily immersed into a book they are reading it is more likely that they will be susceptible to hypnotism. I believe it might be something you could work on if you really wanted to.

@@ellabrown6633 You wouldn't be able to cure paralysis. Hypnotism is mainly suggestions and influencing, which wouldn't cure paralysis. Most paralysis is caused through nerve damage which generally can not be healed. Simply speaking to people and being suggestive isn't going to heal nerve damage. Now if the paralysis is due to maybe being traumatized and not actual damage, then it's probably possible to help out with it using hypnotism

Hypnosis cant be forced. If the person getting hypnotized wants to, they can just snap out of it. Although if u do the sleep stuff for like 3 hours you can basically manipulate them. Im no expert btw.

My boss is mad at me for what I said under hypnosis. Or actually, not for what I _said;_ for what I _allowed_ myself to think, thus bringing this "immoral opinion" on stage. Apparently, thinking offensive things about her is wrong, since I _chose_ to think them and _let_ them in my head. I said things on stage about how my boss is a condescending, short-tempered spinster who drives men away. I even said that she must manage so many wedding receptions to compensate for her lack of marriage (according to my boss). When I tried to justify myself, she asked me two ridiculous questions: "is it okay to think that one race is better than another?" and "Do you think people with learning disabilities are stupid?" I was shocked and said, "No, of course not. That would be disgusting for me to think that." And bingo, my boss pointed out. And thus my thoughts about her were shameless, even in private, since I didn't control them and wipe them away from my brain. I "willingly dwelled on them," and "immorally thought lowly of her." So it's _my_ fault I said what was on my mind when hypnotized, just for allowing the source of my words.
No one actually agrees with my boss, do they? I really don't think I did anything wrong. It's _her_ fault my opinion about her is the way it is. I don't even think unmarried people are failures, unless they make a bad impression.

Some people fake it but from what I've seen of this chanel he seems like a professional, I am a sociologist and am therefore no expert but I know through psychologist friends and their experiences that hypnosis is definatily a real thing
