I have been waiting for a refund from Cathay Pacific..1year and 6 months..
They said I needed an onward flight to fly in to Cambodia..I explained I did not need an onward flight ..They insisted otherwise I could not check in..
I booked an onward flight..
They kind of admitted via a bunch of lies I did not..
I demaned they refund me..Still waiting ..One and half years on..😢

@@michaelosullivan298If you pay with a credit card you can dispute the charge. AMEX is great about that when Porter Air stole money from me for a nonexistent overweight luggage charge.

I flew with Nouvelair from London Gatwick to Tunis and back at the beginning of last year. I thought they were a nice little airline, plus I was impressed that all alcoholic beverages sold on board were only 1 Euro each (that included miniatures of vodka, scotch, etc.)! However, you're absolutely right about their lax safety procedures. I don’t recall them checking on either of my flights to ensure that everyone was buckled up for take-off and landing, etc.

There are three airlines in Africa which are considered to be safe. I would not fly any of them.
Yeah, they put up a large wall (hassle component) for getting refunds so you quickly lose interest.

Thank you for reviewing Nouvelair ! I'm surprised that they offer a meal from Istanbul to Tunis, because the flights from Tunisia to Europe is without a meal. I took nouvelair last month and it felt like a low cost airline in Tunisia to Europe. About the refund for meal. It will be a long fight...

Now you have an idea about the difference between government-owned and privately-owned companies in Tunisia.
Both have their flaws, one is slightly better than the other but still very average if not less than average.
They will never improve their services as long as they have a monopoly over Tunisian skies. There's a reason why European budget airlines like Ryanair don’t fly here, competition would kill them.
I'm eagerly waiting for the next video to see if Tunisair has improved or not.

Istanbul airport is too big to walk around, you just walk and walk and don't seem to get anywhere. Not what you really want after a long flight. 😀 I hope you got your missing meal Josh. I dipped out on my snack on BA recently. It was ok though, i thought when they said i had an item missing it was going to be my duty free Grey Goose Vodka. 😂 Phew!
