I learn so much from you just walking around talking about your plants! I made the mistake of overwatering and then it got really hot down here in Georgia. So my poor seedlings have really been through it! Most of them are recovered and growing beautifully about 5-6 inches tall now since April. Some are not doing so great. Your channel has helped me so much!

Great video Jim. My coleus got so huge. Had to repot them a few times especially those in the colorful pots with the handles. They were spilling out of the pots.

Loved the story about your antiques. It’s so great that you are maintaining them and planning to pass them to your son.
Regarding the coleus, I have also learned the watermelon are much more tender. We are in the Pacific Northwest and have been getting so much rain this June. They are my favorite, but they just aren’t growing with so much water even with good drainage 😔. The ones I have shielded from the downpours are still doing great, and I’m hoping to make some colorful containers with them this weekend. On the upside, the Torenia seem to be handling the excess water like a champ!

Hi Jenn!! Glad to know Someone else is experiencing the same issue with the Watermelon. They don't appear to have a good root anchoring either. So im just keeping an extra eye on them as they grow in Slooooo moooootion!! Lol
