What I find most disgusting about it is the fact that the paparazzi continued to take pictures even after the crash instead of offering help. I don’t get how that isn’t some sort of crime. RIP Queen of Hearts!

To these ‘persons’ the picture is EVERYTHING! If people are injured or suffering, ignore them and take the picture. If people are bleeding or dying, ignore them and take the picture. If people beg you for ANY type of help, ignore them and just take the picture. If people ask where your priorities are… you tell them they are inside the camera ONLY! This is the mindset that a lot of Paparazzi editors drill into their photographers minds… take the picture and ignore the big picture! (One reason I never wanted to become a photojournalist)

    • @MrGrace
      @MrGrace 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +58

@@Jbeats37firstly, they could have made the call for help. The video states that it took at least 5mins, as much as 10mins for the first emergency call to go out. In an accident like that, those minutes are crucial.
The second thing they coulda done was not chase them so fast in the first place.

Diana was a beautiful person inside and out. Elton John would perform a reworked version of "Candle In The Wind" as a tribute to her at her funeral. He would also go to the studio and record and release it as a single. It was a number 1 hit for 14 weeks.

The first error in this whole horrible situation is that three of them did not have a seatbelt on, or at least Dodi and Diana did not . Exactly, when your job description is "bodyguard" to the rich , first up before speeding through city streets you "must stridently insist" that your VIP clients plus the driver wear their seatbelts. Also a competent bodyguard would , should know if your driver was alcohol effected .The bodyguard , only one wearing a seatbelt survived , hmmmm ,so seatbelts do save lives and reduce all injuries. I enjoy your channel a lot and I don't say this to heckle or insult the hard work of everyone involved in Inforgraphics but perhaps a review of the final exported video needs to happen to ensure that dates, given timeframes, etc are accurate. You're an info based channel and when August suddenly becomes April, 3 days later are suddenly "5 months after" and Dec 2004 which is not "6 months after" even if the correct year of 1997 had been listed... The rest of the info provided becomes suspect. Again, love the channel and enjoy your work. Just want to see the best product possible :)

The injury she sustained was incompatible with life.
Even if there had been a surgeon on the scene who cracked open her chest right there, she still would have died.
When the human body is traveling at a certain rate then comes to rest suddenly, the internal organs remain in motion. Your organs (such as your heart) tear away from the major vessels.
Even if Diana had been injured today, and operated on anywhere in the world, her injury STILL would be fatal today. There was no saving her once that car hit that pillar.

I was 14 years old and on the verge of beginning high school in a new town, as my family and I were in the process of moving to a new house that was bought months earlier.
I was in the back seat of the family van, a '72 VW bus, mind you (LOL), with some things loaded up and we (myself, my dad and my younger sister) were in the drive-thru of a McDonald's grabbing dinner when news broke on the music station my dad had on. I was like, "Wait. Did Princess Diana really die?" Then my dad threw the radio on the AM dial, and sure enough, it was already all over the news. My dad literally went batsh*t nuts and I sat there stone-faced, the both of us being in sudden and understandably absolute shock.
Once we were home I immediately threw on the one TV we had hooked up so far (remember, I was just moving into another town and my folks and I were still in the process of getting everything settled in our new home) in the living room, and our local CBS station (KCBS Ch. 2 in Los Angeles) was running the simulcast of the coverage of Diana's death on Sky News out of the U.K.; my mom was already aware of what happened as she found out while at work that evening.
It was obvious this sudden tragedy was a huge deal all over the world, the world literally froze that day, and to this day I will always mark the day my family and I moved into our new house as one that was also historic...and tragic.
And one more thing. The accident that claimed Princess Diana's life occurred August 31, NOT April 30 or whatever, as there IS NO April 31! 🤦🤦🤦

Great info, but please check your dates, because there are several points in the video where the wrong dates are being quoted. In some spots, the voiceover narration says April 31st. Two problems with this. One, the accident happened on August 31st. And two, April only has 30 days, not 31, so April 31st is impossible even if the accident had happened in April. That also means the dates given for events in the aftermath of the accident, and how long afterward they happened, are also incorrect.

Couple things....Although most people refer to her as Princess Diana, she was not legally a Princess by the Royal Family rules. She was supposed to be called Duchess of Wales or Lady Diana. But we loved her so much that nobody cared and just called her Princess and the Queen just had to accept that.
Also, Charles never stopped his affair with Camilla. Not even when he was first married to Diana. He never said Diana was his soulmate. He barely noticed her and it was a marriage of convenience for him. Although Diana did love him and was hoping he would become more affectionate and loving towards her over time. But that didn't happen. Over time he was just not so careful when seeing Camilla and it became such public knowledge that it could not be ignored. But Charles did not see other women during his marriage other than Camilla.

There have been times where I have wondered how Princess Diana's life might have played out had she survived the crash. One person whom I have chatted with on Quora has actually written up a script for a movie surrounding this thought. They even enjoyed my suggestion of having Emily Blunt portray Princess Diana. Emily Blunt is blonde and British; so she seems tailor-made for the role. Not that I have anything against previous portrayals of Diana by Naomi Watts and Kristen Stewart; but it seems fitting that a British actress portray Diana. Naomi Watts is Australian and Kristen Stewart is American.

Its the fact that she knew the pain that infidelity brings and still she chose to proceed in spreading that poison. She was NOT a Saint. She was human like the rest of us.
